Last minute gift - just in time!
I was buying a last-minute birthday present, expecting that shipping would bring the package well after the birthday (from UK to USA). Retro Lemon had the package shipped out the same day and I received it in 2 days! Incredible service and a happy birthday :)

I purchased the Atari Legacy magazine…
I purchased the Atari Legacy magazine from Retro Lemon. The magazine itself is fantastic and of high production quality. It arrived relatively quickly, however their shipping provider charged additional brokerage fees on top of the import duty. The magazine was shipped in a bubble padded mailer and the magazine arrived with a bent/twisted spine. It should be in a stiff cardboard mailer or with cardboard backing. I know international shipping has gotten expensive due to increased costs and tariffs but I've purchased books and other items from UK retailers for overall lower cost and in better condition when arriving.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and for the kind words about the Atari Legacy magazine - I’m really glad you’re happy with the quality of the publication itself.
I’m sorry to hear about the extra brokerage fees and the condition the magazine arrived in. On the shipping side, we use UPS for US orders on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis, which means customs duties and any carrier brokerage/handling charges are applied by UPS directly and aren’t something we collect or control. I completely understand how frustrating unexpected fees can be, and I appreciate you flagging this.
You’re absolutely right about the packaging, and I apologise that the spine arrived bent. We normally use padded mailers, but for international shipments we should be using a stiff cardboard mailer or at least a rigid backing board to prevent this. I’ve noted your feedback and we’ll be updating our packaging for magazines and books going forward to make sure they’re better protected in transit.

Ordered 3 mousters from there eBay and then seen the website which was cheaper, they cancelled my eBay purchase when I asked and ordered off the website. As for the mousters I now have six and they really are great for playing games on my Amiga's and STE. Y

Great service, delivery, even to the US was quick. What's not so good? Total price. My final price for 1 13.99 (British pounds) Atari magazine, delivered here to me in the USA, was $63.01.

As a UK-based distributor, our pricing reflects the magazine’s cover price set by the publisher, along with postage and any associated handling costs from shipping providers. Unfortunately, we have no control over additional costs incurred through third parties, such as international shipping rates, currency conversion, or any import-related charges that may apply in the USA.
The publisher is actively exploring options for additional distribution partners, which may help reduce costs for customers outside the UK in the future.
We’d also like to that we always aim to be as transparent as possible with pricing before checkout so customers can make an informed decision.
