Rent.is is the best customer oriented camper van service I feel. 10 days of campervan trip in Iceland with my wife and 2.5yr old toddler was an amazing experience.

1. My flight had late evening arrival on 1st day and early morning departure on last day. They have 24/7 pickup & drop from the airport (many other campervan companies have only limited pickup & drop working hours). This was really helpful for me.

2. In platinum insurance they provided complimentary wifi and a child seat. Normally with other Campervan companies its an extra add ons, irrespective of any insurances.

3. My camper got stuck in the mud unable to get it out, I contacted the Rent.is support via Whatsapp sent location and pictures and they organized a tow service very fast.. Around 25-30 mins the tow service reached my location (I had to pay on my own for tow service).

Definitely a 5⭐ according to my personal experience!

El contacto por correo antes y después de la reserva lo contestan muy rápido y muy bien explicado todo. La camper que cogimos actual, limpia y muy bien equipada. Sin duda volveré a este precioso país y volveré a alquilar un vehículo en esta empresa.

We had an excellent experience with Rent.is campervan rental. The shuttle pickup from the airport was right on time, making the start of our trip smooth and completely stress-free. The campervan itself was clean, well-maintained, and ran perfectly throughout our journey without any issues.

What really stood out was their flexibility and customer service — we had to extend our booking due to a rescheduled flight, and the entire process was handled seamlessly with no hassle at all.

Rent.is truly made our first trip to Iceland iconic and highly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable campervan experience!

We rented a Renault Traffic 3 Automated van. It was great and the van did well under all weather. Spacious and the team provided with an extra heater which was great during the winter.

The only downside I would say to the van would be that it doesn’t have cameras or sensors which for me personally (I couldn’t say I am the best driver tho) was a bit of a challenge. But otherwise great experience with them.

Gen the premium insurance which has the wifi included, it’s really worth it.

We had a great experience renting a campervan. Staff were very helpful and the process was very smooth. The campervan was just as described and had the bedding and cookware that we needed for our trip. Pick-up and drop-off was straightforward and I would definitely rent with them again!

We had a great experience with the van, they picked us up from the airport and dropped us off at the hotel in Keflavik at the end of the rental. We had platinum insurance and that was very much needed since weather conditions are unpredictable in Iceland, better safe than sorry. During the rental of 6 nights we had no issue with the campervan, everything went smoothly and it was comfortable to sleep in the back. We really loved the experience and we would definitely rent from the same company next time we’ll be in Iceland.

Super easy, and streamlined process. I think of the three times I've been there, the longest check in or checking out took 15 minutes, if that. All cars I've rented in the past have been well maintained, and if I ever had a question while in Iceland they were always timely in their response. Apart from Iceland being stunning, and a nature lover's paradise, Rent,is makes coming back an even easier decision. This year will be my 4th time using their service.

We rented a Kangoo with them for our 11d roadtrip around Iceland and we were happy with the service. The campercar was in a good state and maintenance. The equipment and linen were good. The service was very good and they did not try to "charge" anything extra. The prices were very good and payment methods for our international CC was fine. The transfer was fine as well.
One tiny thing is that they forgot to mention is that the webasto heater needs fuel to work and if your tank is getting closer to "empty" it stops working.

I had a Caddy for 7 days at the end pf Nov 2025. everything went well. car was perfect for one person. did about 1300km and had no issues. night setup is straightforward once you get a good routine. Rent.is was good value and will happily return both for Iceland and to hire a camper. highly recommended!

We had an excellent trip ! We had a Jeep 4x4 with tent box, it held up to the F-roads and suited us perfectly. The staff were very helpful including the shuttle to and from the airport. Would definitely use them again!

We rent a car for the third time and we we were more than satisfied. The service was great, totally uncomplicated. The car was great. When we come to Iceland we will not choose another rental service 😊

abbiamo noleggiato questo van ed è stato tutto ottimo, molto consigliato. il van era molto comodo e completo di tutto (piatti, stoviglie, frigo, sacchi a pelo, cuscini e luci interne). al quinto giorno abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema con il riscaldamento ma l’assistenza è stata ottima: ci hanno rimborsato due notti di campeggio per l’elettricità (perché nel van c’era anche una stufetta di emergenza per queste evenienze). Poi ci hanno perfino permesso di cambiare van quando il problema non si poteva risolvere a distanza. esperienza davvero positiva.

We rented a 4x4 Toyota Hilux Campervan for 2 weeks in October. The collection and return arrangements were excellent, but most importantly the vehicle suited our needs. i was a bit concerned that we may have gone overboard on the 4x4 aspect given the condition of the main roads we encountered seeing other motorhomes satisfactorily using the same roads. However, we then encountered a snowstorm where all the roads were covered with deep layers of snow or compacted ice. Then, the 4x4 came into its own and provided a safe driving platform. Two experiences we found in driving such a vehicle is that there are always plenty of fuel stations on our routes, but open campsites can be a bit rare in the east in October. All in all an excellent way to look at Iceland and an excellent rental arrangement with Rent.Is.
