Outstanding toddler bike
We received the bike for our 3yr old son by courier. The delivery was fast especially since coming from SA to WA during COVID-19 lockdown. The bike is top quality and it was easy to put together. My son loves riding his bike. Will buy again from Reid Cycles when he goes up a size. The bike is much better looking than your basic bikes from big chain shops and stands out in the crowd..

Quality Bikes That Won't Break Your Bank
I've spent a week going over the reviews of most known bike shops in NSW - including those who have been in existence for sometime and new players out there. What I noticed is that there's a big price difference and most of them would break your bank.
Then I stumbled upon Reid Cycles (online) and check its videos on youtube. I'm a bit impressed with the variety of options - and the price is decent. So I placed my order I received my items (one superlite vintage and scout 24 kids bike) really fast and in good packaging. I can tell that the build and quality of Reid bikes are quite really good. My 10 year-old son and wife are both happy with the bikes - especially the vintage model which is really quite light for its size and build.
I'm planning to buy another one my self soon - and it's going to be another Reid bike for sure.

Bike was good, service could be better
Bike was good, received the wrong tyre cap- twice, and still haven't received the replacement and at this point, I can't be bothered contacting customer service again so I will just replace it myself. Other than that, the product is good. Service could be better.

Reid Rules!
I recently bought a cruiser as a birthday gift for my granddaughter and I couldn’t be happier or more impressed with the service. Communication was excellent and with all the talk of Covid-19 related delivery delays, I was expecting to have to wait a while for it to be delivered to Newcastle but it turned up 4 days later. The icing on the cake - my granddaughter absolutely loves the bike! 😉👍🏼

Everything arrived quickly and in good condition. Only the helmet had issues and i sent this back and got a full refund promptly. Great customer service. I bought the osprey road bike and love it!

…Almost a winner
I mistakenly ordered some wheels for my MTB which I must say were excellent quality, but not disc brakes, I returned them to the store where I was treated very well and had no problems with a refund. Unfortunately 26inch wheels are phasing out. I will certainly deal with Reid Cycles in the future because of their manner and because of their products.

Incorrect items were shipped
Incorrect items were shipped. Was told that I had to ship the items back (at my own cost) if I wanted the correct items or a refund. I looked up how much it was to send the items back as I don't have a business account with any courier company, and the quotes were more expensive than getting the baskets I purchased. The positive side of things is that the cardboard box which the baskets were originally shipped in make good storage, as the baskets have not left it since delivery.

Exchange and replacement.
The exchange and replacement process was great. Customer support were very helpful in exchanging a bike purchased online. The store staff in sydney were also super helpful by assisting with the exchange.
The only downside to was the initial response via email seeking a replacement/exchange for a bike. The initial email reply seemed very generic and wasn't all that helpful with what I asked. But after a phone call to customer support, everything was sorted with ease.

Reid cycles. I’ll use them again.
Order a bike for my wife for a special birthday. There were delays with shipping(Not Reid’s fault), but sorted quickly and arrived on time. Using them again. A great bike too.

Never buying again
Bike came untuned so I had to pay to get the gears tuned because Reid cycles wouldn’t fix it while the city was in lockdown. Then the crank broke so I had to pay to get that fixed. Didn’t realise I was buying such a poorly made product. Would not recommend

Poor build quality and extremely poor customer service
I bought my Reid urban X2 online last year. I only used it handful of times and parked under cover since I bought. All the small parts are rusted now, its really sad to see. Reid customer service responded saying its user issue and not a factory issue.
Note: Reid stated 2 years warranty on all parts upon selling!

Bad online customer service
Contacted support on the 6th October in regards to paint defects and missing parts and have not heard a peep. Bad customer service for an online order.
Edit: added the date I contacted support to show wait and have still not heard back by today 2nd November.

I bought the bike on line and on the second date the chains broke. I call the contact center and I just had a respond like: it’s was your fault because is shown in the video. As a person who doesn’t know much, I haven’t received a good advice, or a compressive way to talk. Just that.
But I’m really really happy with the bike, I just had to took it to a bike shop to fix it.
