Three weeks later, still no working monitor.
I ordered a brand-new LG monitor from RedShell on 10 June because I needed it for work. It arrived DOA (dead on arrival) with a hardware fault and shut itself down during the initial setup.
Instead of taking back the defective monitor or handling the DOA themselves, RedShell sent me to LG and left me to deal directly with the manufacturer's DOA process.
More than three weeks later, after countless emails, phone calls, photos, videos and paperwork, I am still without the monitor I paid for.
Receiving a defective product can happen. Making your customer spend weeks coordinating between the retailer and the manufacturer just to obtain the working product they paid for is incredibly frustrating!

EDIT: LG Benelux has now informed me that they cannot process my DOA because the monitor belongs to LG Electronics Romania, and has referred me back to RedShell... I'm back where I started—still without a working monitor.

UPDATE: RedShell has now resolved the issue and sent me a replacement monitor, which is working correctly. I appreciate that the matter was ultimately resolved. The reason I'm leaving 3 stars instead of 5 is because the DOA process took weeks and initially involved being referred to LG, only to later be told by LG Benelux that the seller had to handle the case after all. I hope the process can be improved for future customers.
