I have used redline goods to buy boots for three different vehicles I’ve owned from a span of 2008 - 2026. The quality, top notch. I would never go anywhere else to buy a customized shift boot for a car. The best part is their website includes notes on installation. My cars have never looked better.

Purchased a shift boot for my C7 Corvette. It showed up and the stitching doesn't match with the factory shift knob. Their response "We stitch the way we do. You didn't make any special request in regards to spacing the stitching differently...".

Why would I expect that their stitching wouldn't match the factory shift knob and I would need to request something special?

Knocking off 3 stars because now I have a worthless shift boot.

Original review: Contacted Redline about making a cover for a part they didn't offer for my 2014 Chevrolet Corvette, the trim piece that runs along the side of the center console. They agreed to make it and I sent them the part. I also ordered a center console lid cover and the dash "batwing". It took some time, but I was getting custom parts and I wasn't in a hurry, and it was totally worth the wait. The part I received back was perfect, super high quality, and exactly what I wanted, along with the other parts. It was exactly the upgrade I was looking for to set the interior of my car apart. My only regret was not buying more.

Ordered an OEM-style shift boot for my 370Z Nismo. I reached out by email first, as I was unsure of the pattern to select and which “red” stitch would match the existing stitch in my interior. Mike, the guy on email, was incredibly polite, patient, informative and just a true professional. He advised exactly which selections to make on the order form that would achieve what I was looking for.

While it took approx 4-5weeks to get my boot, I received a rich, beautiful, grain leather that makes the thin OEM artificial “leather” feel so cheap, thin and tacky in comparison. The leather I ordered is just their base material, and is approx 2mm thick with a luxurious suede backside. I expected to have to do a little bit of trimming to make it fit appropriately, but all the holes and provisions were already beautifully lined up, making for a super easy install.

I cross-shopped shift boots on eBay, Amazon and even some Z-specific retailers… it was Redlines website and custom approach that caught my attention. The website looked a little “mom and pop”, if you will, and much more wordy than most websites that simply prioritize pushing you to checkout. The wordiness on Redlines site was all about details, specifics, and all the options you can choose from. You can feel a lot of passion in their descriptions, which made me feel they take these small trim pieces pretty seriously; that’s why I went this route.

I’d post pictures here if I could, as the result is absolutely beautiful. Yes, it’s just a replica of my stock piece, but made of a far better material. The finer details matter; like the rich, matte look of the leather grain, and the way the thick, but supple material folds over itself.

I’d order from them again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Mike and your team for the wonderful work they do with their hands, you have made every gear change in my Z that much more special.

I'm very satisfied with my first order. They had exactly what I wanted and the colors. They pattern matched my stock shift boot and their stitching matched the color of the stitching in my seats. I plan on ordering the Ebrake boot next month. I highly recommend using this company.

I bought a wheel cover for my Camaro and had them install it.It came out incredible.The customer service was great and they got back to me at a very reasonable time. I would recomend this company for your automotive needs.

I ordered an armrest cover for my Subaru with a piece of foam. Took a little bit to get it, but not long. It's made for me and travelled from a different country.
When it arrived it was just perfect. The quality and stitching is so beautiful and the quality of the product is awesome. I'm so glad I purchased it! What a great product! Thx

Okay, here is the deal! Customer service and response is a huge deal to me. Redline Gentry gets a poor grade from me because of that! It's a value me/me trust you statement. I will say the jeans are great! Measurements are accurate. I would love another pair but will have to wait and see.

I picked up an armrest cover, shift boot, and e-brake boot for a Subaru Forester. These are real leather, which is surprisingly hard to find. I tested it by burning a piece I cut off.
The e-brake boot went on without a hitch. I used a heat gun to help remove the original and used barge all-purpose cement to attach the redline boot to the plastic frame. I put small clamps around the frame to hold it in place while the glue dried.
I chose to remove my current armrest cover and glue on the replacement redline cover. I use a seam ripper to remove the elastic from the redline cover. I glued the new cover to the inside plastic of the armrest only and again used a bunch of clamps to hold it in place while it dried.
They didn’t have a shift boot for my car, but sent me one that was close. I had to do a bunch of measuring and cutting to get the redline boot to line up with all the holes and clips on the plastic frame. I also had to enlarge the cut at the top. I used a small zip-tie to secure the top to the shifter and glued the boot to the frame.
They’ve been on the car for over a year. I’ve conditioned them a few times and they still look good as new. I will be using redline again whenever I need any leather goods for my cars.

Excellent quality products and great communication! Just ordered my third set of shift boot + e-brake covers from them. Soft leather and seemingly endless customization options. Will definitely continue to be a customer!

I have just received my shift and e-brake boots last night, and my first impression was “wow”. I upgraded to Nappa leather, and it looks and feels premium, not to mention the diamond stitching is the icing on the cake. I can’t comment on fitment yet because they haven’t been installed, but the craftsmanship is beautiful. Shipping was also very fast. This company possesses great skill and quality.

Samples arrived quickly so I could feel the materials and choose the best color/texture match for an OEM look.

Communication was good and sending the wheel off to redline to have it professionally installed was money well spent. Very happy with the results. I wish I would have thought to ask if they can install the accessory pieces as well, because their work was done to a much higher standard than what I did on the armrest/shift boot/e-brake.

My new '12 honda civic Si steering wheel has been in use all summer- really excellent and very pleased with the product. Both my son and I have redline goods parts- Arm rests, shift boots- all have been well made. Easy order process- I was even contacted personally regarding the order. I have an 86 jeep cj7 and I wanted to wrap the wheel to upgrade. I got black Napa perforated leather, with the padding, grabber blue stitching. Came fast, as expected, and was easy enough to do myself with great results! I wish I could post pics to this site to show - my wheel looks great and I love the feel of the perforated Napa. I was very impressed with the quality. Im even going back to them to work on a matching wrap for my grab bar. Mike and Jack have been very helpful working with me on these orders. I will definitely recommend this company.

Jack and team are great to work with, They had not previously covered a Ferrari 360 steering wheel, so I sent it to them and WOW, did they do a great job! Very pleased, and the wheel feels wonderful with the new cover...
