Game changing alternative to ceramic tiles & grout !!
A REAL alternative to Ceramic Tiles & tile effect honeycomb panels
I am ‘tiling’ my kitchen and wanted a low maintenance solution. I ordered a Sample of the small flat Metro Dark Grey with white grout & was very impressed with the realist look, design & quality.
I also looked at alternative options but the honeycomb tile effect panels with fake grout lines were no comparison to the Reco Surfaces.
I ordered a full sheet 1220 x 2440 which allowed for minimal cuts & therefore minimal joins.
My installer used a track saw for accurate cutting & after that installation was relatively straightforward.
All in all a great product & great result …

Great and exceptional service!
I ordered some sample boards from Reco Surfaces, which were despatched very quickly but were delivered to the wrong address by Royal Mail. RM said to contact the supplier to sort out the issue with them, which is what I did. Amanda Hasnip from Reco responded immediately and without any hesitation ordered replacement samples to be sent out. Her response, professionalism and efficiency was exceptional! If I was still employing I would certainly want her on my team! Well done Amanda! 👏

Metro tile in Teal blue
I recently purchased the Reco Surfaces teal blue metro tile panel and overall I’m really pleased with the result. The panels arrived very well packaged, with no damage at all, which immediately gave a good first impression. One thing to note is that you should lay them flat as soon as they arrive to help them settle properly before installation.
My builder commented that they were easy to cut and work with, which made the installation process straightforward. The only slight challenge we came across was figuring out what to use for the outside corner joins — it’s not entirely obvious what the best finishing option is there, so that might require a bit of extra planning.
That said, once installed, they look absolutely amazing. The teal blue colour really stands out and gives a clean, modern finish. Definitely worth it if you’re after something a bit different.
