And 1 star is far too much. I ordered and paid for a leg brace. The wires came through so rang the customer service rep. For a replacement, as not even 1 month old. Sent pictures and It’s been 2 weeks and have heard nothing at all. Rebel sport is extremely poor customer service. The people in the Albany store were extremely helpful, but the phone customer service is non existent. Telling everyone how bad they are. Would not use my money there ever again

Bought a pair of shoes and 2 weeks later the order got cancelled by Rebel because it wasn't in stock. Now i'll be waiting another week for my refund.

one of the employees told me i couldn’t touch the soccer balls at all. i was thinking of buying one but nevermind. i was just taking a look at the soccer balls and kicking it carefully to see how well it worked for me and she came and told me “you can’t touch the ball unless you buy it.” Soccer balls are meant to be kicked and touched. She was really rude about it. When a
boy that was pale skinned was touching it she didn’t say anything about it. That just makes me think it was about my skin. Overall the things in rebel sport was good quality but bad employees.

what sort of a rip off company CHARGES $4 to click n collect? - isnt the WHOLE POINT to SAVE money from not having delivery? I'll buy it in-store whewn I am there instead - only because no other store will stock it.

Trying to shop in isles already lots of people then 2 girls that work there also come to the same isle right beside me start talking and pretending they working i couldn't move to look at any more so put everything back and walked out never ever will shop here again bloody disgusting and I was gunna spend good money this day .😡

I’ve been a regular customer of Rebel Sport for a long time and never had any issues before, which makes this experience even more disappointing.
I ordered an "online-only" item ( Timberland boots), and there was only the home delivery option available. Unfortunately, the parcel was left unattended without requiring a signature, and I never actually received it.
After contacting both the store and the courier company (Aramex), I was told there is no agreement in place for parcels to be handed directly to the customer with a signature. I honestly find this very concerning.
I understand delivery issues can happen, but customers should at least have the option for secure delivery when purchasing items online.
What disappointed me even more was that Rebel Sport’s solution was to offer me the option to purchase the same item again and at the same price. Honestly, that feels unreasonable — after already losing money once, there is no guarantee the same thing wouldn't happen again.

I really do like Rebel Sport, and I hope they review their delivery policy, as it's currently putting me off ordering online for now. Hopefully, others have better luck!

Rebel sport petone is not the place to go for customer service, staff have no interest in customer service and manager appeared just as none interested and the store was a mess - definitly wont be back

terrible experience ordering from them online. it was shipped from aus instead of nz which i wasn’t expecting. they use aramex which is a red flag in itself. my order never arrived but tracking said it was delivered (to the wrong country). i asked them to see what was going on, they said they did but i didn’t hear back. i reached out again, no response. all i want is a refund and it feels like im being dodged after weeks of waiting

I have ordered a pair of shoes but they didn't fit well, so I have sent them back to get them exchanged for the right size. Unfortunately they did sent me the wrong size (not the size I have requested), so I needed to sent those ones back as well. I went into the store in Silverdale, but they couldn't help me either because they haven't had the size I requested. I rang the support team about the situation and they told me that I can't get the right size exchanged and they will refund me. After I told her, that I don't want a refund but the right size shoes, the lady created a NEW order for me and kindly gave me the discount of what I have paid in the first place (for a new order!).
A week later I was still waiting for the refund, so I have called again. A different lady then told me that the shoes in the right size will be on their way the next day for $22 less than the discount I have paid. So I told her the story and asked her why I now can get the shoes for even less money than what I paid and why I needed to place a new order, if they could've sent them to me in the first place. She didn't answer this questions and tried to cut me off saying that the refund went through. At that point I got grumpy and asked her if she actually listened to what I have said and she replied again that the refund went through.

So disappointed. Not just because I could have saved another $22, but also no one was actually listening to what I have said and what I as a customer wanted.

I placed two online orders (six pairs of shoes) and three arrived with major issues. I’ve had to organise multiple returns, follow up several times, and have now been without two pairs for over two weeks with no clear resolution.
One pair even arrived with a security tag still attached, meaning I’m expected to travel in-store to fix it — completely defeating the purpose of ordering online.
Customer service has been slow and unhelpful, and the compensation offered was frankly insulting given the time, inconvenience, and lack of quality control. Very disappointing overall experience.

While the online purchasing is as intended, Their delivery and subsequent wrong size due to NOT READING THE ORDER CORRECTLY has made the whole experience time wasting and very frustrating. Online chat bot useless and trying to chat with a real human non existant. CRAP ONLINE SERVICE ALL ROUND!!!!

Ordered shoes online. Revieved them quickly but they were wrong size. Contacted them to organise a refund etc.
Only mistake I did was sending them back on my own courier at my own cost to the address they provided. I had all reference numbers attached and everything the sent me printed and in the box with the shoes.
Now they won't reply or credit me...its been 2 months and its absolutely ridiculous and terrible service. I have proof of delivery and everything

I ordered an item online for almost $4000. Payment went through immediately. Order receipt received by e-mail with order number within 15 minutes with a tracking link. So far so good. I checked the next day and their website said I had not made an online order. Okay not good but it was a Sunday. 3 days later I logged in on-line to check delivery and it said I had not ordered anything online again. Refreshed and checked again and nothing. Checked e-mail to track order and it sent me to the same page, except it said processing, nothing more. A day later no change. Contacted the company online and asked several questions and their response is that I have to wait 3-5 days for a response. However I got a link to chat to an agent. I tried that link and it didn't work. A day later and no progress, another day and the order has been despatched and deliver expected 9 days after order placed. I like the stores, they have good products and prices but their online retail service needs a shake up. Far from the best.

Shout out to Rebel Sport! I ordered something online, under delivery instructions I put please write 'Merry Christmas Love Nana' on the box. They did that, in Christmas colours, drew a little picture, added a heart at the bottom of the exclamation mark. Went above and beyond, when I thought it was a long shot to even ask.
