Listing with RealMart is simply the smartest way to sell a home today. A local real estate agent I knew convinced me to list with her, but all she did was host Open Houses advertised on Zillow, Realtor.com, etc. I figured for tens of thousands of dollars, I could do that myself. As soon as the listing expired I factored in the commission I would have paid, subtracted it from my asking price and the house had a solid offer very quickly. The buyers thank me regularly to this day for the great deal they got, and I am thrilled I did not continue carrying the house for countless months. RealMart is so responsive and they offer an amazing service any smart seller would use. Most buyers shop online and then come by in person to see the homes they would consider. No one needs an agent anymore. The days of paying 5% commission on a high ticket like the sale price of your home are over. Looking back, that was ridiculous! The same effort goes into selling a $250k condo as a $1M home, which in my opinion calls for a flat $10k commission at most. You can always offer to pay $500 for the photographer or a la carte items but save tens of thousands on commission. Just get a good photographer $500-$1000 for drone photos/video, a closing attorney $1000-$1700 and you are all set to sell your house yourself!

Having been a realtor in the past, I was familiar with how to present, market and get a home sold, so working with Realmart was exactly what I needed. However, because of the nature of the agreement, for someone who is not very experienced, there is not a whole lot of guidance or assistance beyond what the contract covers, so be aware of that. You get what you pay for, and a little bit of extra attention, but if you want more, you will have to pay more to get it. I found the staff to be pleasant and helpful in the sense of answering questions about the issues that are covered within the contract, and especially helpful regarding setting up and monitoring the Home Warranty. Additionally, they know what they are doing and the whole transaction went very smoothly. I sold my home quickly and for a whole lot less monetary outlay, when other homes in my neighborhood were struggling with traditional realtors. The overall experience was positive and I would not hesitate to use this company again.

I wanted to sell my house myself yet have it listed on MLS for both Monmouth and Ocean counties. I found the staff to be very professional and helpful and sold my own and my mother's homes this way. If you are able to create some basic marketing info and if you like meeting people and having open houses, then Realmart is the way to go.

Realmart offers a unique product for sellers- the ability to list a property on the MLS directly, show the house yourself, and save at least half on typical selling commissions. Realmart's system made it easy to keep the listing up to date, and the staff was responsive to questions. I highly recommend Realmart.
