I have nothing but praise for this company. From the start of the ordering process, navigating the website, and even correcting my mistake with the delivery date, they were outstanding in changing the day and ensuring the suit arrived on time. I was initially hesitant since I hadn’t used them before, but I would highly recommend them to anyone! Returning the suit was just as easy—packing everything back into the provided bags and box, arranging the return online, and dropping it off at the nearest DPD drop-off point was completely stress-free. A big thank you to Megan for helping with the delivery issue!

Suit "delivered" by DPD. Ordered with their recommended time frame to allow for fit replacement. However, this was not delivered until 2 days before the event. Shirt did not fit, jacket barely fitted but did not have any option but to buy another shirt and wear the jacket large.

The box in which the Suit arrived was very flimsy and not fit for purpose considering the importance of the contents. This was further aggravated by the way DPD dumped the package the outside block on the path next to the main door leaving it open to weather damage and possible theft. When informing rathbones about this they seemed uninterested with an "oh dear" attitude. The Suit also did not come with a return label so had to request a QR code from them to return the item.

Overall poor experience. Albeit mostly DPD to fault, but you need to consider better packaging and definitely an alternative delivery partner.

Would not recommend nor use again.

The website was easy to use and the suit was delivered as indicated, however the suit was too small. I had measured myself as accurately as possible but was disappointed that the suit especially the trousers did not fit. The trousers were not able to be adjusted on the waste so I have had to return unused.

I ordered a tux for my sons' leaving ball, however I ordered it slightly too early for the event leaving over 7 days for the return. I contacted Rathbones to delay the delivery but they quickly responded to say that we could have the suit for an extra day. The suit was beautiful and he looked fantastic in it. Returning the suit was super easy too!

Our first hire for this year’s Royal Ascot and the service we received was amazing.
The Morning suit, waistcoat, shirt, tie/pocket square & top hat were delivered by DPD well in advance giving us plenty of time to make sure everything was there and fitted OK etc. (it was and did.)
The quality of everything exceeded our expectations.
So easy to return via DPD afterwards.
Will definitely be hiring again for Royal Ascot next year.

This is a review for when things go wrong. I have to say that Megan was superb and the company service excellent. It means you can rely on them if things don't go perfectly at the beginning.

I’m normally fair and can be harsh on reviews, my overall comment for Rathbones Tailors would be FAULTLESS.
I’m so happy I came across this suit hire company.
Firstly Megan was amazing and every business needs a Megan, communication was speedy and so reassuring. Thank you so much Megan for everything.
Suit was first class and the sizes were perfect.
Couldn’t recommend Rathbones enough.

What more could you want? The suit arrived on time all ironed and ready of course I had the right measurements and then after the event I used the box it came in to drop it off at Argos for DPD to pickup using a bar code I generated from their webpage via my phone. I even got a receipt for the return and a confirmation email from Rathbones.

Ordered on Wednesday for a Saturday Event.

Was a bit reticent to order online on short notice but it seemed like a good choice vs going to Jermyn St etc.

DPD failed to make delivery on Friday (classic), but Rathbones were very responsive on WhatsApp and managed to get DPD to drop it at a collection point same day!

I hired a morning suit from Rathbones for a wedding yesterday, and the whole experience was great. Clothing is high-quality and arrived early. Rathbones did make an error in sending the wrong size waistcoat, but they were super-responsive in sending out the correct size in plenty of time. Excellent service all around, with good value for money.

The suit looked great and arrived earlier than expected. Megan is a credit to the rathbones team, she provided excellent customer service and made sure everything went well and orders came in time when I had to change suits. I will definitely be using again.

I used Rathbones Tailor for the first time and had a great experience from a customer service point of view. I did have a little issue with the sizes of my suit but the team was very quick to respond and offer solutions. I ordered both a "try on" service, and later the final suit and Megan from customer service was very responsive whenever I had a question/issue. It's easy to order and return. Follow their advice on ordering ahead of time in case you need to return and adjust sizes.

Good value and really easy to order and get delivered. I didn’t get a return label but the team were able to sort that really quickly… would rent again

Thank you so much at Rathbones for reacting so quickly to my mistakes with measuring myself. The product was super clean, great quality, delivered on time and exchanged with ease - I had to get a replacement jacket and shirt within 24 hours, which Rathbones accommodated with ease, and to a different address. So far as I can tell, Rathbones (Meghan), go out of their way to make things happen where other businesses may have told me I was too late or it was to hard to help. Cannot recommend highly enough...

I hired the Gregson 3-piece suit for my wedding and couldn't have been happier.
The suit was incredibly comfortable and stylish. The process of hiring is really simple with a very helpful "how to measure yourself video".
Even when I made a mistake in measuring myself and ended up with trousers which were too wide, the customer service to respond quickly to my contact and get a new set of trousers to me within 2 working days was fantastic! (Tip, compare your measurement against trousers you own already to double check sizing)

I rented a tux for a work event and it came very fast and was perfect, exactly what was needed.

Very clear and concise communication at all times, answering all my questions. I will 100% be returning.

I rented 4 tux’s for wedding. The suits and service I received was spot on. Even when I needed to make a last minute change there were no problems and there were no hitches.

Perfect customer experience! I got married in the US in December so had to have my family bring out 7 tailcoat rentals which felt like a risky decision. Megan answered all my questions and really helped us make sure the measurements were all correct before I hit order. They were high quality tailcoat sets and fitted my groomsmen and me perfectly. I was worried something would go wrong but going the experience was so seamless from start to finish. We'd researched a few companies and went with Rathbones and couldn't be happier with how it turned out!

I hired a 2 piece Tuxedo and shirt+accessory package from Rathbones Tailors for a black tie event.
The website was very easy to navigate. The size guides were easy to understand and true to size as it turned out.
The tuxedo arrived promptly on the day they said it would be delivered.
The tuxedo itself was immaculate and fit like a glove. I felt a million quid in it.
It all came in a suit bag, in a box with clear instructions on how to return it.
The whole experience from start to finish was stress free and easy. All in all, 10/10.

Great customer service from Megan, the suits are immaculate and helped with a new size as I ordered the wrong size, would purchase from these guys again and recommend to anyone.
