Consistently providing great tea, across the spectrum. Black, white, green, oolong or herbal, all well curated, with "every day" teas as well as high end rarities and loads in between.

Om Rare Tea Company
Skrevet av virksomheten
Rare Tea Company offers some of the finest rare and speciality loose leaf tea expertly sourced from around the world. We are committed to direct trade and sustainable sourcing.
Real relationships, both with the farms and our customers, are essential to Rare Tea. This is what we believe defines direct trade.
We focus on quality, sampling the finest and only selecting the best: our range is small but carefully chosen, seeking out tea-gardens and farmers crafting the most delicious leaves. We are extremely lucky and proud to work with unique farms producing extraordinary tea.
Some of our tea is very rare, with only a few kilos produced each year. Others can be grown on a larger scale. All of our tea is crafted by skilled men and women on independent farms, not industrially processed by large agribusinesses. We buy harvests from farmers, not a commodity from brokers.

A Rare and Excellent Find
Finding the teas from the Rare Tea Company has been a real pleasure. I have taken on board their advice that they give for preparing and drinking tea and since then I enjoy the delicate flavours of premium teas every morning at approximately 25p a cup. The Rare Tea Company also does valuable support work for the tea workers and their families so that their livelihoods can be maintained, their children educated and the world can continue to enjoy these specialist products.

Great to get a Malawi tea
Great to get a Malawi tea. Great strong tea taste and lovely dark colour. Not strong tannic flavour unless you brew for a long time.

Good but...
As a long time customer I am always happy with my tea, the ease of ordering and speed of delivery. My only minor issue this time was that I felt the description of Lost Malawi and its flavor did not match up, it was too smoky
