Really positive experience.
Last weekend I had to move to a second floor flat with no lift and the stairs where really narrow.
To add to that it was the hottest day so far but the guys have been great and managed to get everything in piece in the flat.
Thank you again for your service!

They helped me move a 1 bedroom flat, they was very professional, very careful with my belongings.

team arrived on time. porfessional engagement and polite. loaded van with my boxes and furniture from a second floor with no lift flat very quickly and smoothly. drive to new city was smooth and timely. of loading of items as efficient and diligent as loading with care given. No breakages at all as everything was very well organised on the van and secured. Contact with the office and driver was polite, timely and responsive from the begining. Receiving a message after the move to wish me well in my place and checking in for satisfaction went a long way! great guys. Will use again and recommend.

Josh the Director was efficient, excellent communication keeping us informed and updated of everything right up to the removal guys arriving at the house. The 2 men removing the one bed to one bed flat in Watford. They were kind, helpful and extremely hard working and made the move as stress free as possible. They were also funny and genuine nice pair of people. Nothing broken and all handled with care. Would thoroughly recommend.

Right from the beginning Jake, (the London branch coordinator), made things user friendly and efficient. We sent some pictures of the refuse we wanted collecting, and Jake got back quickly with a very reasonable price (After having shopped around a bit). We were very happy with the flexibility and swiftness of the collection and the tidiness of the Driver doing the pick up. Payment is quick and easy by bank transfer.
Would definitely recommend.

Used Rapid Removal for our complete home move from a 1 bedroom to a 2 bedroom. Used a 3 people team to move all items. Complete disassembly and reassembly of all large items (was very impressed with how knowledgeable they were with all items and super efficient service with all furniture. We were not sure on how some of the items could be transported and even changed our mind last minute about our inventory of items to be moved and they handled all of this with complete professionalism. They even took the time to explain to us what they were doing each step of the way. Everything was moved in 1 trip and the price was amazing in comparison to others we had recieved a quote for. The men that came were so helpful and knowledgeable that we even gave them a little on top of the price to show our appreciation. Thank you for doing your part to make our now house a family home!

I never usually write reviews for anything, but I am so grateful to RapidRemovalGroup that I needed to express my gratitude!

My move came around suddenly, so being the unorganised person that I am, I definitely wasn’t ready! I was searching around for the best quotes and the best companies to move with, as I own some highly priced furniture which I would be devastated should they get damaged. Also, timing wise, as I had a tight schedule I needed a company who could work to a strict itinerary.

So finding the best company who were flexible with my schedule was what I needed. Josh reached out to me after I requested a quote, they also have a packing service which I thought was a bonus, especially for the price. The price was amazing, we discussed my concerns and he reassured me he could help.

He and his team arrived on time and helped pack all my belongings and furniture. They came with everything that was required to pack, boxes, bubble wrap etc! This was a relief for me as I didn’t have to travel out and purchase anything myself. I was so nervous about my furniture, but Josh assured me they were in safe hands. I was a bit overwhelmed by it all, but they literally took all the stress from me! I only had to worry about my personal belongings and my son.

Upon arriving to my new house, they unloaded everything, they took their time and I was so pleased as my furniture remained intact!! The one thing I was most stressed about! They put all the boxes in the right rooms and even took time out to chat and play with my little boy!

Honestly, they made my whole moving experience stress free! Everything went smoothly and again I am so grateful to the team, I couldn’t recommend them enough! Thank you!!

Really good value and a great team. Arrived on time and got the job done quickly. We moved between cities with two vans so it wasn't a small job! They worked around our kids with no issues on the day. They arrived before us at the new property and got started unpacking.
The only downsides were that a few boxes went to the wrong rooms and a small set of cheap drawers got broken. The quote was such good value for the service they provided in our opinion. Highly recommend.

We have been having our house extensively refurbished and needed to move out and put all our belongings in storage from August 2021 until November. 4 story house, family of 4 - lots of stuff! I got a number of quotes, but Rapid Removal Group were by far the most competitive and very keen to do the job. Josh, Jake, Dan and others were incredibly keen, hard-working and personable. We were in the middle of building work so access wasn't as easy as it could have been, but they took all this in their stride. And as our initial November move-back date slipped due to overrunning building work, Josh was very helpful and accommodating, with simple requests to pay to extend the storage cost.

However, the bad massively outweighs the good. Their timekeeping was awful, arriving hours late for both pickup and delivery, and moving the agreed days as well causing me to take 2 days off work rather than 1, which I was told in passing on the Friday evening. Really poor and frustrating, but these things happen. For the collection, the lax timekeeping wasn't a huge issue as we were just putting everything in storage and had time flexibility, but had we needed to move properties on a specific day it would have been a killer. So frustrating, but not terminal.

But what is terminal has been the damage and loss to our possessions, and how this has been handled. A very significant number of our items, that we were assured they'd pack up and move carefully, weren't. Consequently beds, wardrobes, chairs, electrical equipment, books etc have been damaged. Most cosmetically, some terminally. A number of items are broken due to carelessly being put on the truck and not even being wrapped up, such as lamps. Gouges in bedframes, scratches on a wardrobe, damage to antique furniture, paint scrapes on wooden armchairs, AV equipment dented. We had packed up our pictures, but the glass in many has still been damaged due to careless handling and storage.

We did a lot of the packing ourselves in advance due to having to clear our lower ground floor for building works. Many of the boxes we used have returned trashed, with books falling out and being delivered in blankets. Personal papers were strewn about, some with muddy footprints on, Random items were put into random bags, with shoes turning up in different boxes / bags. A box containing expensive camera equipment returned damaged and stuffed with personal papers, with pretty much all equipment missing, easily over £1.5k loss. Items were dropped - an almost new and pristine floor-standing loudspeaker was dropped onto a new floor in front of my wife, damaging both the speaker and the floor, and some items have been damaged beyond repair or use.

So far, so bad. But trying to get compensation had been fruitless such that I am now taking legal action. Having carefully checked they were fully insured, and gotten a copy of their liability policy, upon notifying Josh of all the damage I've had frustrating emails that go unanswered, denial that 'items can't have been damaged as he packed them himself', obfuscations such that they 'need receipts for every item damaged', including wedding presents, christening presents and heirloom furniture - and much foot dragging. Despite photos of all damage sent to Josh, and the other movers (Dan and Jake) concurring that accidents had happened and their insurance would sort it, there now seems to be flat denial that it's as bad as it is, and I have seen no evidence of any activity to progress compensation. Whilst I don't understand the carelessness, I do understand that accidents happen. However the approach to deal with this has been shocking, and the sort of experience that baffles as to how they're still in business.

At the time of writing, it has been more than two months since the damage and loss has been reported to them, and I have no confirmation that any compensation process has been enacted other that assurances by text message that it has. I therefore write this review as I embark on legal action to recover damages. I would strongly urge anyone considering using them to think hard as to whether the damage and hassle is worth the price. Had they said they'd do it for free for this outcome, I certainly wouldn't use them. The damage and loss is far in excess of their fees, and that doesn't even being to account for the hassle and time in dealing with them.

I recently used rapid removal for a house move from London to Bristol and the service was absolutely fantastic!

Not only was I provided with the most competitive price around (I received quotes from at least 10 other companies) but the move went seamlessly and quickly and Dan and Jake were super helpful and friendly when unloading and delivering our furniture. Josh was also particularly easy to deal with via call and email and my partner and I were really impressed. It is also an extra bonus that we only had to pay on delivery of items and were not subjected to any hidden penalty fees (e.g with items matching our inventory) which I know some other similar companies are guilty of.

Hugely impressed and would definitely recommend!

Fantastic guys - couldn’t rate them highly enough. Very hardworking but also kind and helpful. When one of my items didn’t fit into storage they even offered to hold onto it until we move out. Will be using them again.

Josh and Jake were very helpful and willing to go above and beyond.

They are responsive and incorporated as a proper company with relevant insurances.

As has been said before in other reviews all of the team worked their socks off all day to move both of our houses to the new property and all through it they were polite and were also able to deal with a couple of additional requests that we had.

They are a company that I had not heard of before so I may have some doubts but would have no hesitation in recommending them if asked.

Josh and Jake were amazing, they were professional, friendly and did a fantastic job of moving the many boxes and difficult furniture from our house to new property, I fully recommend them and will be using them again in the future. Thank you both for your hard work, patience and professionalism.

I had to arrange a last minute removal, Josh was really responsive and helpful. He accepted my last minute query even tough work was continued until 9pm they were supportive until end of move.
