Thank you to this English bookshop for enriching my life. When i first read an E.M. Forster novel I was electrified. It was like Pascal's middle of the night 'FIRE!' moment of mystical experience. I never dreamed i might own a book signed by him. But I sold the cottage this fall; and am taking a reward for having survived 30+ years of the brutal, water access only, Canadian cottage experience. So a small bookshop in the UK as well as AkkieB are made happy. Now look at this crossing out of the printed name and, underneath, his signing his name in black ink. Why would anyone do that? I suspect he's a self deprecating and humorous man. Many thanks for a first rate experience.
