This company is a shambles my sister…

This company is a shambles my sister has recently passed away so we called this waste of time company to see if they wanted all her white goods which was brought brand new end of march 2024 there’s at least £1500 worth of goods they offered £70 do not take the piss do not bother contacting these scam artists

If I could give zero stars I would

If I could give zero stars I would. They asked me for photos. I sent and they gave me a price. They then say they are coming to pick up on Friday, then they say it's Monday 5pm to 7pm. Then another message to say showing up between 7.15pm and 8.15pm. So I wait around all night. There is no phone number to call them or online tracking. A guy shows up. It's late. It is meant to be a two man job. Takes more pictures and then says they don't want any of it. They are a complete waste of time. The wardrobes and storage unit are in good condition and he just leaves. I already said that I was working to a tight deadlines. Very shocked. Don't bother. Haven't experienced something this awful in a long time.

Firstly, we have a contact section on our page which contains a phone number. There is also a number attached when searching our business on Google.

We have to inspect furniture upon arrival due to comparing the condition of the actual furniture compared to what was submitted to us.

During the submission process we ask to provide any marks, stains and damages. Upon arrival there were many marks, stains and damages which was not shown (intentionally or not).

We turned up on the second provided date which we ask for full availability throughout both day and evening to ensure collection occurs.

Collection did not occur due to wholly inaccurate information that we received during the submission process which ultimately led to this unfortunately disingenuous review.

Not as advertised, do not recommend

Submitted a request to sell sofa in excellent condition and it got rejected with no explanation (at almost midnight on Sunday). Therefore, whatever they advertise on the website (sell any item quickly) is a lie and they don’t hold up to the promise.

We found what we were looking for

We found what we were looking for, ordered it and it was delivered to our apartment the next day. The people were very friendly and helpful. We would be happy to come back again. Quickli is now a reliable source for second-hand furniture in perfect condition.

DO NOT USE! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL

Make any price they want for delivery without explanation wanted to charge me £35 for being 40mins away from London not even that when most big companies don’t even charge that.

All they give is excuses but are happy take your money straight away for the item then send you an email saying they need more money for delivery 😂

When making the order I put my post code in and it said “ FREE “ so I went ahead with it, like any normal company when you put your postcode in it should come up with delivery prices but it didn’t it said “FREE” I guess that’s how then con you.

After going back and forth with emails they even ring me to basically say what’s the problem so DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR PHONE NUMBER! The fact they felt entitled to ring me and abuse the fact I put my number in is beyond me, obviously I was going to put it in if there was any issues with the delivery they can call me, I wish I didn’t and I’m glad I didn’t proceed with purchasing anything, still waiting for my refund it’s laughable how they take your money straight away then add delivery on top then have to wait to get refunded. Stay well away from these guys literal definition of money grabbers just make up any prices here and there no explanation for anything just excuses!

It’s a real shame that you have provided us with a negative review even after we reached out twice and comprehensively explained and cleared the misconceptions had with our platform.

Upon opening our shop (quickli.co.uk/shop) you are greeted with text in bold stating “Free London delivery on all items”.

When one of our ads are opened (https://www.quickli.co.uk/product-page/ikea-hemnes-white-chest-of-eight-drawers) it is also mentioned “Free delivery in London”. In addition to this, just below the option to purchase and the “Free delivery in London”, there is a ‘Before you buy’ section.

Point 4 of the ‘before you buy’ section outlines the following:

“4. We offer delivery outside of London to select areas at a charge. Please contact us to ask if we deliver to your location and charges. To add, there is a £15 surcharge for postcodes inside the congestion zone.”

We also have our delivery policy linked under each page on our website (quickli.co.uk/delivery-policy). The delivery policy outlines the exact same points made in the ‘before you buy’ section (which is under each advert).

As the platform that we use to host our website does not have a specific intricate tool that makes automatic calculation/quotes based on an individuals postcode, (cannot be coded either) we have the ‘before you buy’ section and ‘delivery policy’ to cover this.

Quotes for delivery fees are calculated based on distance from our regular operating zone, which is London.

Just because you simply did not agree to the delivery fee which you were quoted, does not make us a “con”. Referencing other companies is just baseless without evidence. Also, whether “big companies” do charge a different fee, we are a small company and delivieries outside of London financially impact us more.

You willingly provided a contact number and within reason, we are entitled to reach out to you by the contact avenues that you have provided us. As we were routinely being called a scam by you, this was escalated and a member of our team reached out to you via a courtesy call to hear your concerns and answer your questions in real time. We believe the hyperbolic language of “abuse” is unnecessary as that is just part of general customer service.

Furthermore, we do not “take your money straight away’”. All payments are made securely via the Wix Payments system, an established, FCA approved e-commerce platform. Just like any e-commerce transaction in the world, the payment leaves your bank, and then it is processed by Wix, before it is eventually released to us. Not least because of this, we reached out to you immediately once we established that you were outside of our operation zone, giving you the option to cancel the purchase. Once you confirmed you wanted to take that option, we reversed the transaction from our end immediately, meaning the payment still sits with Wix, and will never, nor did it ever, reach us. Refund time frames are standard and, as with any other e-commerce transaction, dependent on your bank.

Unfortunately, this review is ultimately based on the clear information provided not being read and throwing out hyperbolic language such as “abuse”, “scam” and “con” simply because you did not agree to the delivery fee we had quoted you is sad to see considering we have operated in an honest matter and even when having explained our stance that was based on factual evidence, we still receive this review.

We strive to take a dynamic approach in the improvement of our services, so your review has been acknowledged.

Great item, as described. Delivered the next day, during the time slot given. This is my 4th purchase from QUICKLI, everything is always as described and pictured and delivered by lovely people, on time.

Must be a scam

Must be a scam. Sent loads of photos, explained it’s a £1200 sofa bed, recently deep cleaned and they offered £60… sold it myself for £600! What a strange company

Making a monterary offer that is paid to you for your furniture is fundamentally not a scam.

For some clarity, offers we make on furniture are based on the calculation of projected profit that we make after factoring the costs of the following:

Fuel
Location
Labour
Transportation
Storage
Resale

On the topic of ongoing resale, the same first 5 factors apply again and as we are also a business, we pay VAT on each piece of furniture sold on our platform.

As one can imagine, taking all of the above into consideration already significantly differs from a private sale.

Because you weren’t happy with our offer, again, does not make us a scam.

We strive to take a dynamic approach in the improvement of our services, so your review has been acknowledged.

Convenient way to get rid of old furniture

Within a couple of days of uploading the details of our sofa to the Quickli site, they were already coming to collect it. The price was a little low given the value, but we were key to get rid of it as soon as possible, so it suited us just fine. The communication was very good too.

The only downside was that they only sent one person to collect the sofa. I helped him to the best of my ability, but I felt sorry for him. In terms of making the job simpler and safer, sending two people would have made a lot more sense.

Great, quick, honest and reliable service

I bought a lot of stuff from this site, a wardrobe, coat rack, table, storage rack....the furniture was exactly as described, everything arrived on time, exactly how they said, the drivers were always very nice and helpful and they truly go by their motto, a quick and reliable service. The communication is also great, the person responding being very professional and well prepared to give the best advice. I highly recommend them!

Great service

Great service! They came on time, dismantled my furniture, removed it all without damaging my walls and paid me £50 for it. What's not to love?

Don’t bother

Don’t bother. I submitted photos of 5 items in immaculate condition and was rejected with no explanation and told to try ‘selling on gumtree’. Absolute joke of a company and other reviews suggest the same experience. Avoid
