J'envisage de monter une action collective complète contre QBE : collecte de dossiers pour une attaque au pénal contre les dirigeants pour escroquerie en le documentant, dossier médiatique avec un RP, dossier auprès de la DGCCRF.

Décennale pro batiment. Adhérent depuis 4 ans. 1er et unique sinistre en juillet 2024, toujours en cours, en attente du rapport de l'expert passer en fevrier 2025 sur les lieux et dont nous attendons toujours le rapport. Malgré nos relances aucune reponse, sauf un courrier pour resilier le contrat !!!. Car en parallèle nous sommes menacés par un huissier qui nous réclame le paiement que nous refusons, le réclamant étant en faute. Bref aucun accompagnement, a fuir si vous passez via April.

This is not just one of the worst insurance companies in the UK – it is the worst.
They initially denied liability even though their insured driver hit my parked vehicle. Absolutely unbelievable. They deliberately drag matters out, ignore you for as long as possible, and only accept responsibility once you threaten court action. At that point, they suddenly admit liability and pay out, which says everything about their practices.
Customer service is practically non-existent. Calls go nowhere, emails are ignored, and there is no sense of accountability whatsoever.
Someone genuinely needs to raise funds through crowdfunding and take collective legal action against this company. The sheer number of negative reviews speaks for itself, and the few positive ones appear highly questionable at best.
It is completely ridiculous that a company operating like this is still allowed to trade.

We picked this insurance after a bad…
We picked this insurance after a bad experience with previous insurer, and not many insurances offer landlords insurance, so again, chose QBE. Absolutely disgusted that our insurance has declined our claim (which we are now escalating), due to the builder report stating that the damage was due to leaves. When there wasn't ANY issues with leaks in the roof with the prior rain or subsequent instances of rain that occurred that same week after this particular storm. This particular storm damaged MANY businesses roofs in our local area, so clearly it was the storm. Not to mention storms can also blow leaves onto the roof ? Which obviously is not due to anybody's negligence.. However I know for a fact my husband and FIL have been on our roof over the recent months anyway. Whats the point of having insurance if we are just constantly fighting them for anything?

Le motif évoqué au tel ( il faut être très patient) : nous sommes surchargés. Avec tous les Avis négatifs que je vois passer depuis plusieurs mois, il serait peut être temps d'embaucher? Y a t_il un recourt ? Il faudrait monter une association de mécontent.

My partner was involved in a hit and run on his motorcycle he was hit by a four wheel drive that was speeding QBE claims that he shouldn’t of pulled out if the person was speeding ( he didn’t see them when he was turning into the street they came out of no where ) the driver sped off my partner was taken to hospital and could of died there was witnesses and after 8 months of not investigating anything they have told him they will not process the claim

Je suis vraiment inquiète des avis laissés
Nous avons acheté notre maison en juin 2024 Gross pluie en avril 2025 nous constatons des taches d humidité sur notre plafond. Je suis dans un cas de décennale pour des panneaux solaires mal posés donc fuite donc dégât des eaux sur le plafond de notre maison
Nous avons d abord cherché à contacter l installateur qui a fermé mais était assuré par QBE, ils nous demandent d abord de leur faire un mail qu ils n ouvriront jamais puis nous décidons de leur envoyer un courrier recommandé avec AR nous recevons l accuse mais toujours pas de réponse depuis septembre. Et maintenant nous sommes obligés de faire appel à un expert qui nous demande 750€ pour qqch dont nous ne sommes pas responsable.
Est ce que qqun peut nous aider svp ?

This insurance company will take your money for years and then put you through years of hoops and legal proceedings when it comes time to make a claim. They will never pay out!

Have a car insurance policy with QBE, took it out for our travelling holiday and unfortunately we had a storm damage our windshield wipers which caused damage ro the windscreen. Our policy has a windscreen cover. Lodged a claim when returned from holidays and have nothing but dramas with them since lodging, they accepted it at first then rejected it as they wanted the full itinerary and so many more details, it was getting beyond a joke, every day there were emails stating it is being looked at by our team and will get back to you. In the end we cancelled the claim as causing too many dramas.....should have checked out the reviews here before going ahead with them.

QBE France : silence, négligence et zéro suivi.
Après des travaux causant des infiltrations chez moi, un sinistre a été ouvert. Depuis, QBE France ne répond plus aux mails, ne donne aucune solution, et laisse la situation empirer. Un mois sans réponse… c’est inacceptable.
Je vais donc saisir le Conciliateur de la République et transféré le dossier de QBE France pour dénoncer ce manque de prise en charge et de respect envers les assurés.
Quand une assurance fuit ses responsabilités, il est normal que les clients le sachent. Très mauvaise expérience.

They lie about injured workers. Tell people your claim is fraudulent despite MRI's. Do not pay reimbursements back to injured workers on time, I still have an outstanding reimbursements from June. In breach of S13 and fail to acknowledge medical issues written on your capacity certificate. Fail to approve or deny medical referrals in breach of S13. Fail to get injured workers home so they are left living in a park full with homeless people despite ICARE stating they should get you home. Case managers get a $1500 bonus to close the file of injured workers without paying them out. Do not trust this company under any circumstances.

Mon entreprise individuel est condamnée à régler la somme de 40keuros.
Aucune présence d'un avocat lors des investigations.
Silence et absence est au rendez vous.
Aucunes réponses des recommandés envoyés.
Des cotisations obligatoires dans le vent pendant 12ans.
Aprés 20 ans d'artisanat plus de 600 clients et plus de 1000 chantiers réalisés, cette assurance force mon entreprise a mettre la clé sous la porte. et mettre des ouvriers et leurs familles en périls.
De meme pour la RC PRO

Une catastrophe cette assurance, ils ne répondent à rien et à personne, ils étaient mis en cause sur un dossier, ils n'ont jamais répondu, au final c'est nous qui avons été saisis de 40k€ à leur place !!!! de vrais voyous
**UPDATE** 100% liability admitted, but months of stonewalling and poor handling
QBE admitted 100% liability, then ran a box-ticking, obstructive process. They cherry-picked information to suit their narrative, while sidelining and ignoring the MedCo report to force a lower compensation tariff.
When this was challenged, they hid behind “our Stage 2 has ended - accept the lower tariff or we'll see you in court” rather than engage with the actual evidence.
This is bullying by design: hide behind process, brandish court as a threat, and pressure people into underpaid tariffs knowing most can’t face litigation.
The arranged Physio was mishandled and mis-recorded (marked “failed to attend” despite attendance and further sessions requested by the Physio Therapist, still not resolved!).
Communication was abysmal - weeks of silence unless I chased.
I raised a complaint due to the failures encountered, however even the complaints team were inept; their “final response” whitewashed the handling failures and dodged the actual issues, giving a very clear impression that their aim is to protect their own rather than dealing with very valid complaints.
When I inferred that, unless the complaint was addressed I would be left with no other option other than escalating to the Ombudsman, their response was very flippant and without a care.
Reading other reviews, it looks as though this is a common tactic used by QBE regularly and I would strongly advise against anyone using this company.
I did not want to, but I am now escalating this to the Ombudsman.
A dismal example of process over fairness -designed to underpay, not to do right.
**UPDATE** - QBE has chimed in to say my case is “settled.” Yes - settled under protest after I was effectively coerced by process into accepting a lower-than-tariff payout because I couldn’t sink more time or money into litigation.
That is not an endorsement of their valuation or conduct. It follows weeks of silence, cherry-picked protocol and a complaints team that dodged the core issues. This isn’t resolution - it’s failure dressed up as closure.

This is clearly a company that doesn't care about its reputation. I have been a long time customer and tried to make a small claim for repairs after someone tried to steal my bike. They've tied up my claim in arbitrary 'investigations' for 3 weeks and left me without a vehicle. Will be leaving as soon as I possibly can.
Très difficile d'avoir un interlocuteur…
Très difficile d'avoir un interlocuteur qui puisse répondre aux problèmes exposés et demande a chaque fois d 'envoyer un mail ( sachant que les réponses sont très rares).
QBE trouve toujours un moyen pour retirer leurs responsabilités quand il faut assumer.
