Puzzle Locker transforms primary schools into thrilling, immersive escape room adventures. Using iPads and Augmented Reality (AR), they convert school halls into dynamic, topic-themed environments—such as Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Romans, and WWII—where pupils unlock artefacts, solve puzzles, and journey through time. Each experience aims to engage and enhance the 4 C’s of 21st-century learning: critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity. Puzzle Locker was developed from the ground up by qualified teachers and aligns with the curriculum via enquiry-based learning. Pupils adopt rotating roles—explorer, guide, collector—within teams, fostering active participation, empathy, and peer collaboration.

'One of the best experiences of my life' - Y6 pupil
The AR Puzzle Locker was a fantastic experience for our pupils. We did Egyptians and WW2; the workshops were well led and everything worked seamlessly. All our KS2 pupils were engaged throughout, and it was wonderful to see their teamwork skills as well as their enthusiasm about the programme. Some of our pupils who can find the classroom environment difficult, including those with SEND, were really focused and loved the session. Pupils said it was the 'most amazing morning ever' and it was 'epic'. They are begging to have Stuart back, and we will definitely be repeating with our other topics when they come round.

Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!
Pupils and staff alike were amazed by the AR Escape Room. We experienced different experiences in different year groups and all of them were incredibly successful. The collaborative element means all children participated and got to experience different roles. The AR element was phenomenal and elevated the learning for all pupils. It was a huge hit for all and one we will definitely book again. Stuart ran it seamlessly and was able to support any pupil with further clues and pointers.
