I had an extremely unpleasant experience with Pro Service AS and its owner, Nico Dekke. In my experience, he was evasive, manipulative, and difficult to trust.
I delivered a guitar amp to his drop room for service, specifically requesting an estimate beforehand. He never declared his rates and later claimed to have ordered parts — without my consent or knowledge. When I tried to reach him, he refused to answer calls, saying he was working on David Guetta’s set in Magaluf. A former coworker later told me this was false and that he was actually on vacation.
After these red flags, I demanded my amp back. He claimed it was in Hamar and refused to return it until I paid an inspection fee. I paid — but two weeks and multiple threats to involve police and Forbrukertilsynet later, I finally got a message to pick it up.
To my shock, the amp was untouched. I had marked screws and packaging to verify this — and everything was exactly as I left it. Based on this, I strongly suspect he never inspected it at all.
In my opinion, this business model seems designed to delay service, demand payment for work not done, and outsource repairs to others. I’ve since learned he doesn’t repair gear himself but sends it to other professionals in Norway. You’re better off contacting those professionals directly.
I do not recommend dealing with Nico Dekke. In my experience, he showed a lack of integrity and professionalism. Take any response he posts with caution — I personally do not find him trustworthy.
