My experience with frontdoor Pro was smooth and dependable. The technician was prompt, professional, and fixed the issue faster than i expected. It made dealing with home repairs much less stressful.
Deceptive advertising
I was contacted regarding installing a new A/C system prior to the expiration of the federal tax credit program for Energy Efficient upgrades. Frontdoor Pro sent me 3 quotes based on the tax credit. As it turns out, none of the three units came remotely close to qualifying for the tax credit as none of them included qualifying equipment. I almost got into a contract expecting a tax credit that would never come. Fortunately, I spoke with a credible local installer who saved me from making that mistake.

Horrible Service
I didn’t not get the service in credit since the company did contact us, at first, home shield did not understand it was on my account. The first company they sent did not come and had to ask to get the service credit.

Warning about using Crown Temperature, Healing and Cooling company.
First, I spent over two days about two hours trying to get an annual HVAC appointment set up through AHS. Once that finally happened Crown Temperature, Heating and Cooling sent out a technician who checked my furnace and humidifier attached to furnace. He said I needed to get another humidifier filter and took out the filter for me so I could make sure I got the right one. He failed to mention that if I didn’t replace the filter right away that water would flow onto our basement floor. So, the next day we had a flood in and around our furnace in the basement. When we called Crown, the head technician, named Jeremy, was exceptionally rude, would accept no responsibility for the situation, screamed both at my husband and I on two separate phone calls and hung up on us both times. My husband called and asked for the owner of Crown to call us but he never did. Wow! The worst customer service we have ever had! We not only will never use Crown again, we are very unhappy with AHS.
