I had a very distressing experience…
I had a very distressing experience with Private Medical Clinic. I went in for a routine blood test and was later contacted with alarming results, which prompted an urgent visit to A&E. After extensive NHS testing, I was told my results were completely normal. The panic and emotional toll this caused were significant, not to mention the time and money wasted. When I raised concerns with the clinic, the handling of my complaint was dismissive, and lacked accountability.

We are genuinely saddened and disappointed to read your review, which we believe is both misleading and deeply unfair. At Private Medical Clinic, we take the care and safety of our patients extremely seriously and hold ourselves to the highest standards across all our clinics.
You underwent a blood test which revealed a result that was potentially very serious. In accordance with best clinical practice and out of concern for your wellbeing, we promptly advised you to attend your local A&E for further urgent assessment. This was done to prioritise your safety and ensure that any serious underlying issue was ruled out quickly and thoroughly.
Following this, your results were carefully reviewed by our clinical team alongside the NHS findings. In the interest of complete reassurance, we provided you with a comprehensive follow-up blood test worth over £400, free of charge, and arranged multiple phone calls with our Medical Director to ensure that everything was clearly explained and fully resolved.
To suggest that your concerns were dismissed or that we showed a lack of accountability is categorically false and offensive. Our team went above and beyond to act responsibly, promptly, and compassionately in your case.
We take defamatory and dishonest statements about our clinic very seriously, and this matter will be reviewed further. We ask that you reconsider your comments in light of the support and extensive care that was provided to you.

Amazing Clinic and Personal Service
I am not one to give reviews normally, however I must give a review to the team at Private Medical Clinic, and especially to Molly. Molly and the team were consistently getting the required changes done and communicating with me on when I would receive the documents.
The team have been so fantastic in supporting me getting my medical visa certificate and even though I had some small issues with the documents, they supported me in getting them updated.
Considering that they are in the UK and I was overseas at the time, they went above and beyond to get the documents to me while overseas so that I could ensure the visa was completed in time.
Would recommend to anyone that really wants a personal service from a medical clinc.

I was not expecting a call from…
I was not expecting a call from Edgbaston Smile Clinic so thought it was a scam especially as the call was not at the time I was informed. So I ignored the call. I got a later call when I was on a crowded bus so could not speak properly because of the noise and not happy to disclose confidential information which other passengers can hear.

Quick response, efficient, reassuring.
Having experienced a sudden onset medical problem, I was able to get a telephone appointment in the evening within two hours of going online to book. The doctor rang promptly, took very reassuring control of the situation, and issued a prescription which I was able to get made up at a late pharmacy. I was also very impressed to find that late appointments were being taken by the medical director of the clinic - that’s good leadership! Overall very impressed and grateful, saved me a lot of time and worry.

Fantastic service
Fantastic service. The wonderful Dr who I spoke to this morning listened very carefully to my concerns and gave very good advice. I have used this service a few times for both myself and my child on days when it wasn't possible to attend our regular GP. Every time we have received wonderful care and positive outcome with thorough advice to see us through. Thank you so much for helping us again on a Sunday and saving us a trip to out of hours GP. Really appreciate the help we received.

Absolute five star top notch Service.
I had severe withdrawal symptoms from a medication I am slowly tapering off. I went to A&E 3 times, each time with a 5 hour wait. Tried to get into my doctors loads of times without any luck. At A&E, I told them I needed an antihistamine to calm the shakes and something to help me sleep as I had severe insomnia. Neither A&E nor any doctors that I approached would help. This felt like medical neglect, not support. I went onto the Private Medical Clinic website and booked an appointment within the hour. I chose the phone appointment for £49. On the call I explained what the problem was, they agreed with me, and within one hour I had the prescription and the MEDS. They sent the prescription via a text message which I took to my local pharmacy who gave me the meds They do offer same day delivery service too if you are too sick to go to the pharmacy. The doctor called me back the next evening to see how I was. Never had that service before in my life. Super professional, super easy to deal with, and it feels like they care. Happy to chat to me on the phone unlike other doctors that I see. who can’t wait to get you out. I felt like they really listened and helped. Will absolutely definitely be using them in the future.
