They promise you a quick and seamless promise and end up dragging things out. I signed a contract in May 2023, heading into September ( 5 months now) and they keep telling me that the permit has been approved, but my County Office does not have a solar permit application in the systems for them at all. They keep asking me to submit paperwork to my HOA and I have told them over and over again, that I need a copy of the permit for my HOA. This is the worst transaction and I wouldn't recommend a bird's nest to do business with them.

Contract for install signed March 2022. Started out fine but needed a minor modification to the plans due to power company and insurance requirements. Just had to remove one panel. That turned into several bad plans, twice being redone for the wrong house, then installer ghosted and we got delayed for months. Then I had to cancel the permit myself and reapply with the county since installer that ghosted was not responding to change request. Finally had everything set by fall and pushed them to install quickly as soon the ground would be frozen and there would be snow (we are doing a ground mount system). They said don't worry, then later went back on that and said they couldn't install when the ground is frozen. Scheduled for February, then March, then later in March due to weather delays. Then said my financing had expired so instead of 1.9% per our contract it would now be 4.9%. AND, it was going to cost $7k more that originally in our contract. I fought of course, no way I'm paying more for their mistakes and delays caused by them. They finally offered a $5k credit if I moved forward. I said no, why would I pay more and a higher rate due to their mistakes? So here I am over a year later, tons of headaches and no solar.

I couldn't imagine a worse experience. Its taken over 8 months to have my system set up. I was told it would take 60 days. The installer failed to show up on 5 scheduled dates. When they showed up they smoke weed, talked about their sexual conquests outside my daughters window and went home after only working for 15 minutes. I had to take 9 days of work off to allow access to my home to complete installation and multiple failed building inspections. The internal process of filing the correct paperwork with the building department and energy provider was incorrect EVERY TIME! If it wasn't for my efforts from start to finish this project would still be in pending mode. I have asked powur to compensate me for time off and energy expenses and they have yet to even respond. For the Love of all that is good, please do not engage with Powur for any reason. Consider yourself warned!!!!

What has changed? It has been a month (Dec 23rd) since QP promised to talk to Solaredge about the solar panel not properly functioning. Solaredge is supposed to be monitoring this but didn't identify the problem as worthy of their time as no one has emailed or left any messages about trying to reach me about fixing the problem. Powur's contracted customer service admit that system that their contracted sales team sold me was inadequate and told me that it would be too expensive for me to get the size I needed...and then closed the ticket.

2/20/2024 update Powur is still the worst solar panel installer ever. I spent $25,000 more to update my system with 10 panels and 2 batteries. Powur is what you don't have because they a such an unethetical company.

Powur gives a second to none experience in going Solar. They do thousands of installs and have outstanding pricing and communication. Like any company it's your solar consultants job to follow up and have good customer care. Powur the platform takes care of everything else and has a great warranty!!

This has been one of the worst experiences I have encountered with a company. The rep is quick to communicate and hound you to make a sale and then goes ghost. Powur sub contracts to various installers and lucky me got an installer (Smart Phase Energy; owner Jon) who was very unprofessional, lacked communication with me when they broke roofing tiles in the front of my house and claimed it was “normal”. But ignored my calls about the broken tiles for days. Then when they finally showed up- the installer Derek- laughed directly in my face. I will definitely be calling the board on them as well. However, back to this so called business- Powur. After the entire mess of the sub contractors- I am hoping to finally get PTO. Nope. Takes 45 days for PTO to process and when I reach out to my rep (who comes and goes with communication), my “project manager” Chloe, and the “COO” of the company- Brenton Schulz, they all ignore your telephone calls, text messages, and emails. Terrible employees and even worse customer service. Now I am 2 months past installation and my system is still not working properly. I owe my typical SCE bill + my $215 Solar bill that is not even working. I would not recommend this company to anyone, AT ALL. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I also wish I could remove all solar panels and begin fresh with a better company.

Damaged/Defective Inverter - Not Operational Since 06/19/2022 - Multiple attempts to get status updates from Customer Support have resulted in no response or emails indicating "I am sorry for the long delay, there is still no tracking available for this case."

I am now in a position of paying for a new solar system that doesn't work AND paying my local utility for electricity.

Attempts to escalate to senior leadership have been unsuccessful and I am caught in the middle of "finger pointing" between Powur and their supplier Solar Edge

Company has terrible customer service and seem unable to support the system they sell as advertised.
