The PMI study hall was invaluable to my understanding of the testing approach. The testing experience online was difficult because it started late, and I was just waiting for it to start, and the time was changed on me without my initiation, but I am glad I passed the test and glad it’s over.

The study hall was stellar and the exam was exactly as I expected. All of the information was relevant and the pieces to complete the exam was so easy. I had one hiccup during my exam but the proctor was understanding and documented the issue. It turned out that I passed despite the exam hiccup. All in all it was a challenging but rewarding experience!

Support wasn't really helpful after my application was approved to take the test. There was a mistake with my contact info that wasn't allowing me to schedule the exam. After investigating on other forums, I was able to figure it out and directly instructed the support team on how to fix the problem. But initially they blamed Pearson Vue.

Proctored online testing queue was also over 1.5 hours to enter exam. During that time, testing requirement starts where you cannot move from the camera. My overall test time was over the maximum time that was specified and there should be more information on this possibility. We should also be able to move around if we have not entered the actual exam yet. Additionally, I received no questions on EVM formulas or anything on schedules or critical path calculations. That's a huge part that you have to study and memorize and it takes away from other important content I could be studying on the test. Maybe outline priority or break the content up further.

First, know that I passed AT/AT/AT. Many of the exam questions are too vaguely worded, and the unclear grammar could lead to different answers based on interpretation.

Second, through no fault of PMI, Pearson canceled my exam less than 12 hours before I was supposed to take it. Rescheduling before the PMP exam changed was a massive pain, and I ended up having to take the exam on a Sunday morning. Additionally, it took me over an hour to start my exam after finishing the online check-in because there were so many people in the queue and so few proctors. Overall, I’m very dissatisfied with the process, and I’m not thrilled with the quality of the examination.

After signing in on time, I had to wait an hour and half for my test to begin. I understand that there were issues in the morning, but this was extremely frustrating. Taking the exam at home was great, except the closing window just shuts down in a way that you aren’t sure of your test processed through. The exam itself was very difficult. I used several tools to help study, including study hall. I do think these helped understand mindset, but once on the exam no practice fully prepared you for the ambiguity of the questions and responses. It was also a bit frustrating to not know if you would see formulas or drag and drop. I think having this locked in a bit more would help candidates focus their study clearer. I would go e a higher score if not for the issues with sign on and the close out. Would also be nice for at home takers to get results a bit sooner.

The application process was thorough and well explained. The test matched my expectations for formatting and had a good variety of concepts it tested against. My only issue is that the Pearson Vue Proctor would not allow me to leave my seat until I raised my hand so they could come and escort me. This impacted the amount of time I had for my break and was not a PMI testing rule so that shouldn't have happened. If this is allowed & standard, then the break timer should not automatically begin. Overall I would recommend others to sit for this exam.

Initially it is very difficulty, but after proper preparation understand the concepts and realtime approaches.

The bootcamp suggested by PMI was horrible. Four days of drone, memorization details (terms), HUNDREDS of slides, and limited opportunity for integration. The course was over $2000 and I almost decided not to take the exam feeling overwhelmed.
I had to find other resources to prepare, very thankful for Study Hall. No one should have to fight to learn the correct information and properly prepare for the exam. Glad I passed the first time.

What I've seen with PMI is its ability to accept implementing changes to its framework to adapt to modern times and modern ways of doing things. Accepting agile, principle based project management,AI, etc. rather than sticking to the IBM type of rigidness when it comes to outdated way of running a business.

I believe that aspiring PM Professional should not pay for All practice mock exams. Clearly it's a money making business. With membership it should give you one free mock exam with questions and answers that can be found on individual dashboard. Also the illustration of the performance after exam should be reviewed as it does not fully help candidates with understanding how to improve.

The PMI site is very easy to use to find information and resources. I found PMI Study Hall to be an invaluable resource for preparing for the PMP exam, and this resource enabled me to pass the exam with Above Target results.

More guidance on which 35 hour course to take would’ve been helpful. I ended up purchasing two 35 hour courses because although I completed the first one and got my certificate it didn’t feel like I learned a lot - this was likely due to the course being delivered in slide format and all verbal no instructor interaction, plus it was expensive. I didn’t have an appreciation for how dense the material was going to be ahead of time. After struggling through this course the doing more hours of research two instructors rose to the top, Andrew and David. I ended up purchasing Andrew’s 35 hour course just so I could get an understanding of what I was supposed to have learned in the first course. Andrew was much cheaper and much more helpful. Then I watched YouTube videos from David. I understand the PMBOK is the source material however when it comes to the 35 hour instruction, and instructor lead learning and studying, more guidance from PMI would’ve been nice, since I and likely most people are not familiar with the whole process when starting n this journey. It was frustrating to say the least.
Secondly, the PMP exam felt rushed. My second set of 60 questions was especially challenging and I ended up taking more time than anticipated which caused me to rush through the last 60 questions. I passed but didn’t perform as well as I’d hoped based on time constraints.

The experience is one to remember!! Very intense, however, the full exam layout was comprehensively straightforward. The staff members were patient and informative.

The process to write the exam was simple and direct.

Very well run organization. Expectations for the application process were clear and requirements to obtain certification are sufficiently challenging but achievable. I highly recommend pursuing certifications through PMI and becoming a member.
