Plough hotel Alnwick the worst place and worst pub ever would never go there again and advise others not to go it had no consideration for customers and starter we had was rubbish worst ever!

arrived early Xmas day for lunch at 2pm
Table not ready due to hangers on
Waited ages. No table
Staff moving tables around
Waited more than 1 HR still no table
Going to leave but given free drink
Not enough staff , still no table staff didn't know when table would be free
We both have medical problemtas
After 90 mins got a table
Pub very noisy
Asked for water but apparently no jugs!
After another long wait the starters came
The rocket was like dead worms and the soup was cold
Staff not bothered
While another long wait of over an hour for main course there was at least another 14 waiting for main course
Don't know if anyone got main course
The staff couldn't give any answers
In fact service was non existent
We travelled 30 miles to the worst Xmas ever
Couldn't wait for meal after 1;hour hso decided to leave
When approaching landlady she was amazed web had not had the main course
She refunded the deposit and we left
