Very fun way to learn math and English! Kinda annoying cuz it’s pay to win since I'm broke. (And I’m a 5th grader with like 10 dollars)

why is it greedy now? it was so good as a kid but now its mid...

I used to play this game all the time as a kid. But I had to stop playing it, which I was really sad about. It was SO good, when I played it and I was obsessed. I decided to start playing it again, I thought it would be the same fun game that I loved but turns out it's gotten so much worse. Every minute an add comes up for a membership and you have to be a member to do almost EVERYTHING! I wish the old prodigy would be back.

My kid enjoys it and is now doing math at +4 grade level!

In the game "Prodogy," it is shown that it is more of a pay-to-win game, and they use 15-second ads you can't skip, making it less desirable to use as an educational game.
I used to play this game when I was in middle school, and I loved it. I would play almost every day for hours and hours on end. And I still played it as I continued to go through school, and boy, have I grown to hate it. Its practicly a pay-to-play game now! I get membership ads 2 times per minute. They put caps on all the pets' leveling, and they removed things that free players could do, like the one free evolve to your pet! It's less like a game and more like a pop-up ad that I would see when being on social media. It's sad and annoying how they have locked the game, and it's unfair. You should not have to pay to play an educational game! I might end up deleting my account if nothing gets fixed.
And yes, for the record, I do understand that the revenue that they get from the memberships is how they fund the game, and without it, they would not be able to pay the employees or have the game in general, but the game needs a better balance of things that free players can do and get if they do not want to lose people. With all the ads and membership promotions, Prodigy is being characterized as greedy and undesirable. I love this game, and I do not want to see it run itself into the ground.
If they made the magic coin more accessible, then people could progress better and not lose interest. Because of how scarce the magic coin is, the game is taking way longer to play for free players. So the free players stop playing as offen and the game gets less activity, and the ratings go down. But if they just fixed some things and listened to the people who have some issues with how the games is then maybe just maybe more people would play it again.

So. Its a great idea, but it really had a bad execution. Its very pay to win, gets EXTREMELY repetitive, accounts break every 5 months.

My son asked for the premium membership for his birthday two years ago. He loves math and this game allowed him to be challenged and continue to develop his math skills. He has continued to progress in math, but as he approaches middle school he is beginning to outgrow the game. I requested to cancel before the subscription renews and it was a very easy process.

The Prodigy Game has been a lot of fun for my kids, while secretly teaching them a ton of math. The technical support and billing support teams have been friendly and efficient to work with, and it’s just overall a great product.

One of my kids favorite pets the Aquaster now needs to Evolve I need to pay for her to Evolve her pets?! No way!

For the game island,literally the only okay thing on this website thingy you a limited time unless you pay.Of course you have to pay everythings a cash grab you get better pets like omg do we have to pay evrything.Also you cant go one second without getting a math equation shoved in your face.This game is not fun at all unless you are a nerd.

I use Prodigy throughout the year for spiral review of concepts we have covered or that I think they might be familiar with. Students love the gaming aspect. I love that I can assign specific questions to students.

I know I don't fully utilize all the features of Prodigy, so I keep exploring and finding new ways to use their data to help me.

As I was setting up a new assignment today, I had a question and used the chat feature. My question sent me to a live customer service person (Dan). He was able to quickly tell me that what I wanted wasn't available yet, but he would share my suggestion with their design team. I appreciate that he gave a prompt response, and that their team is open to suggestions that make Prodigy a more effective and efficient tool for teachers!

Great company. My kid has become a lot more confident in his math skills with them.

My children loved using Prodigy. Once they had outgrown it, Prodigy Education made it easy and straightforward to settle everything. They were very helpful and diligent.
