My fourth wine tour with Platypus and it just got better! Three wineries instead of four meant more time at each, more stories about the winery and their wines…and more pours of their wines! As expected, platypus tour guide was so knowledgeable. Our seven guests were great friends by the end of the tour. Thank you again, Platypus!

This was our second time using Platypus Tours, and both experiences have been fantastic. Our driver was an excellent guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and even helpful at several of the wineries. He also made transporting our purchases easy by providing a box compatible with airline checked‑bag requirements, which was a huge bonus. The join‑in tour format made it fun to meet new people, and the winery selections were spot‑on; we bought wine at all three stops and even joined a wine club. We’ll absolutely book with Platypus Tours again.

The whole day was great. Loved the small group, the winery choices and Army, our guide was helpful, informative and accommodating.

Wonderful tour of Napa, with a great guide! Loved the wineries that we visited and the guide was very knowledgeable. The group on the tour was a range of ages and backgrounds which made it really fun.

Better than we hoped. We are not used to having to make reservations for tasting. Not only do they take care of that, but also to you to littler wineries - ones we never would have considered. The information given during the drive was also something we would not have had on our own, The surprise was they collect your purchases and will ship to you at cost! Saved us a lot of hassle.

We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tour experience. The small group was nice and the variety of wineries terrific with a different experience at each location. The boxed lunch was delicious and the timing was perfect to offset the wine tasting. Our tour guide Courtney was terrific. Friendly and knowledgeable. Made the whole experience memorable. Would definitely book again.

Tony our guide and driver handled everything. His familiarity with the valley and the different estates/wineries meant we could visit and relax.

I enjoyed visiting the northern part of Napa Valley. I visit Napa Valley every year so it was nice to see new wineries. I also enjoyed seeing the behind the scenes work that goes into making great wine. Our tour group was small and it was very nice to have special attention from our winery hosts.

Courtney did a great job…very fun! The first two wineries were great…Bread and Butter and Backstage…last winery was pretty but the host seemed to lack enthusiasm at the end of the day (Hagafen)

We have used this tour company several times, all with the same result. It is an excellent way to spend the day wine tasting. They picked us up at our hotel, and dropped us off there afterwards. The driver (Gary) was great. Personable, knowledgeable, and with a great sense of humor. I will ask for him again. The company took us to three great boutique wineries where we were treated exceptionally well, and had good wines to boot. I recommend them to all my friends, whether in Napa or Sonoma.
