I purchased the conditioner for 'over 40s' yesterday. Goodness me, I spent a lot of last night scratching my scalp. My hair was very dry after using it.

No, this doesn't work. It smells quite nice. It makes you feel like you're doing something helpful. But the best way to get healthy hair is to eat well including protein especially oily fish. Also, get some sunshine if you can.

Bought this because I have fine hair and the claims that was suitable. After a number of washes, it does not work at all. My hair was worse and stings badly if you accidently get it your eyes. Pricy and will not purchase again.

Used this for some years and have now realised it’s totally useless! And……..it’s given me an itchy scalp for years too.

Load rubbish and as for the tonic had reaction to it please please do test before u use it nowhere on bottle etc wasn't till after I used it I googled it and say do test avoid the stuff all these good reviews are rubbish my hairs worse

Ich habe Plantur DMG Clinical bei Bipa erworben, Shampoo und Serum. Eine einzige Katastrophe! Vorweg gesagt, beide Produkte habe ich nur 1 x verwendet und muss diese jetzt entsorgen. Die Inhaltsstoffe verursachen Haarverlust! Und man muss sie suchen, auf der Packung steht lediglich der Wirkstoff DMG und Coffein. SULFATE! Das Shampoo ist voll von verschiedenen Sodium Laureth Sulfaten. Googeln Sie das mal! Diese sind in vielen Shampoos, aber auch in Duschgels vorhanden. Sie trocknen die Haut bzw. Kopfhaut brutal aus, so dass die Haarfolikel absterben und massiver Haarverlust eintritt. Zum Serum: Da muss man die Inhaltsstoffe googeln, sind gar nicht angeführt. Der angeblich "erfrischende Alkohol" ist äußerst schädlich. Es handelt sich um Isopropanol, ein Produkt aus der Petrochemie. Ebenso wie Sulfate werden Haut und Haar extrem ausgetrocknet. Diese Inhaltsstoffe sind billig und bescheren der Firma große Gewinnmargen. Ich habe eine Menge Geld in den Sand gesetzt. Durch mein Vorwissen konnte ich aber schwere Schäden verhindern. Ich will mein Geld zurück. Habe auch an die Firma geschrieben. Unglaublich, was hier vor sich geht. Verzweifelte Menschen, die unter Haarverlust leiden, werden in die Irre geführt und ihr Problem wird verstärkt. Das ist untragbar.

I got a package of shampoo, conditioner and tonic for Christmas after noticing that my hair was thinning at the front. I'd recently had a spell of handfuls of hair loss when I combed my hair before I dried it. 2 months on, I have very little to no hair loss and breakage. I went back to using my normal, Herbal Essences conditioner because I just didn't think the tube of Plantur 39 conditioner was worth the money. I apply the tonic at night before I go to bed and use the shampoo with my usual conditioner in the shower. I wash my hair every day. My hair is brittle and dry due to daily heat styling and regular bleaching and this is neither better nor worse having used Plantur 39. I don't know if I can notice hair regrowth but I have got short, wiry hairs at my parting. These could be regrowth due to using Plantur 39 or it could be the handfuls of hair that I'd lost growing back naturally. I didn't read the reviews of Plantur 39 before I tried it. I'm glad because I'm sure it would have put me off trying it.

I have persevered with Plantur 39 for a few years now as Initially after menopause I had thinning and lifeless hair. I use it in combination with a styling conditioner applied and left in the hair after washing (another brand) and a shampoo for grey hair and honestly my hair has never looked or felt better. Even my hairdresser has commented what great condition it’s in!

I have surch for helpful shampoo for after 45 age group and Google recommend Plant 39 in top 5. I use it for o er 2 months and the result today is my hair is falling like waterfall. I lost so much hair that I am getting very sad and not happy. Have a pictures of today.... Never again going to use this brand. Please any recommendations for recovery of hair loss???

I cannot say enough great things about their shampoo, conditioner, tonic and vitamins. I picked up some of the products when I was in Germany and I’ve been using them for the past three months and my hair has never looked better. My Stylist even commented on how shiny and healthy it looked. BUT THE BEST PART is that I’m not losing hair like I used to. I used to lose up to 100 strands per shower and now it’s between 5-15. Yes, I count.
I have no idea why the other reviews are not that good. My mom loves it too, and honestly, every company could learn from them because whatever they’ve got in those vitamins and the shampoo and conditioner and tonic is liquid gold.

I bought the anti grey because I have a severe hair dye allergy. I have used this for a couple of weeks now and have no allergic reaction whatsoever however I don’t see any difference in my grey. I have noticed quite a bit of breakage where normally it wouldn’t break but my hair is soft after use. It’s not bad I just don’t think it’s the miracle product I was looking for.

Brought one bottle of the green, one brown shampoo and one brown conditioner. Haven't noticed any difference sadly but will keep on using in the hope that changes🙏 hoping this is not a false product

Having tried other shampoos for hair growth, and possibly minimizing hair falling out, I stumbled upon Plantur 39, I started using them and initially it felt good, as I like the smell, and it didnt seem like any harsh chemicals are inside this, so it was a thumbs up.

However having used this for 6 months, I can't see any benefit gained from this, if anything, I may have lost more hair (not due to plantur 39 but just not helping enough perhaps).

Anyway, again, journey continued to searching for what works. I came across another similar hair product, in a soap form (Called Taoist Soap) designed for the scalp and use for hair. I'm not related for that company, but i must say, only in the second month, I can already see my hair falling rate is decreased, I almost have no hair falling in the shower or bed anymore. Only thing I changed was using this soap 2-3 times a week, and then use normal fragrance free shampoo on other days. I am a male and over 40.

Anyway, i think some products work and some don't, depending on your body and how it will react.

After two weeks of use, I finally tossed it. My hair looked and felt like straw. Very drying. Did not have any thickening effect. I didn't like it and wouldn't recommend it .

Due to menopause and thyroid issues, I felt my hair was thinning. I have used Alpecin on and off over the years, but read an article recently that said these caffeine shampoos do very little to reduce hair thinning as they are not in contact with the scalp for long enough.
My hair suddenly felt thinner than ever so I thought I'd give Plantur 39 tonic a go. I had tried the tonic before, a few years ago and found that it made my scalp dry and extremely flaky. But, I thought I'd try it again, along with the Alpecin. I haven't used it long enough to say whether or not it has had a positive effect on my hair thinning, but what I will say is it leaves my hair very greasy and feels as though I have hairspray on it?!
I think this time too will be a short lived experience. In the bin again I'm afraid.
Do not recommend.

Plantur 39 shampoo nu ongeveer 6 weken gebruikt plus de tonic, maar ik heb het idee dat mijn haar nog dunner is geworden, toch niet de bedoeling denk ik, ga er mee stoppen.

Ich hatte vermehrter Haarausfall trotzdem ich das Produkt mehrere Monate genutzt habe. Nachdem ich das Produkt abgesetzt habe wurden sie langsam wieder etwas voller. Das war rausgeschmissenes Geld und völlig kontraproduktiv!

Plantur voor gekleurd haar,en conditioner na 1e gebruik, mijn haar is voller ,ruikt lekker ,niet overheersend. Deze is speciaal voor mensen van 40+ . Tonic ga ik nog kopen,deze mag je 1 keer per week gebruiken. Als je na het douchen je haar hebt afgedroogd gebruik dan wel een serum voor je haar ( mijn haar is niet vettig) .Aanrader!.

Started using Plantur39 due to meanapause hair thinning.
Stopped using because it is making my hair feel coarse and dry, no shine, similar texture to when lacquer is applied. Wondering if the product is coating the hair strands to give the effect of thickening.

Used for approximately 1 month but had to stop due to hair being left extremely dry, brittle and shedding. I bought the Plantur conditioner to use alongside the shampoo but I have put both in the bin. I am now undertaking a course of deep conditioning to try and restore my hair. I have changed to using OGX Thick & Full+ Biotin & Collagen Shampoo and so far I'm really impressed with how it makes hair feel and look (and smells lovely too). Disappointing and would not recommend - though from reviews it obviously works for some.
