Unbelievably delicious meals with all the fun of pretending you made it yourself! I love cooking but being vegetarian had felt stressful with the pressure of cooking healthy meals day to day - Planthood takes all the stress out of it with incredibly yummy meals and generous portion sizes. Not to even mention the ordering and delivery process is super straight forward.

Hi my goods arrived and I couldn’t scan labels. They are placed over bag fold and crumpled. I’d post a picture but it won’t allow. Real shame for first order.

After having Planthood as a vague thing I’d buy ‘one day’, my partner and I finally got on with it and I am utterly blown away by every single meal every single time. Despite being a vegan for close to a decade I’m very much on the beige side of the spectrum and this has introduced so many new dishes that are always so full of variation, depth and flavour. Each time we say ‘that was a ten out of ten’ and remind ourselves about meals we’ve eaten out that haven’t come close. For the cost it’s actually proven to be so much cheaper than eating out but then getting better in the process. I simply cannot recommend highly enough. The sensory experience of each meal is such a highlight of the week for us both. Long may this company keep going and keep thriving 💚

I’m really loving my Planthood meals . They’re healthy, tasty and quick and easy to prepare . I particularly like the chef prepared sauces , restaurant quality food in my own kitchen ready in a matter of minutes.
Nutritional values and ingredients are listed for each dish . Ordering is super easy and delivery excellent . Everything is carefully packaged and environmentally friendly.
Customer service is exemplary , got an immediate friendly and helpful response to a query about menu choice . Super impressed . This is clearly a business that cares passionately about its product . Great food made by great people .

We’ve been enjoying Planthood for nearly a year now. The meals are consistently delicious, and maybe there is 1/20 that doesn’t satisfy portion or taste wise, but generally it’s like enjoying a high quality meal from a restaurant. It takes away any desire to order an unhealthy, expensive takeaway, knowing that you have a Planthood in the fridge. Customer service has been very good, when it’s been necessary to contact them. Recently our weekly package was damaged in transit and not delivered (first time occurrence) and although it was refunded immediately, I think contingency really must be made to either re-deliver or delivery again on the next shipment day so one is not left without meals they rely upon for the entire week. Hats off to the chefs, and to the couple behind this amazing vegan business. Please NEVER change or sell out. Thank you!

I have used Planthood 2x. The food is lovely. However I have had problems and they do not speak to you. Everything is done via email or their contact form (I was 100% unable to send my messages as the way I typed in my phone number wasn't acceptable. And no correct way was offer! I mean REALLY!)
One meal arrived without QR code instructions so I had NO idea what to do. 18 hours after the arrival of the food I'm none the wiser
It will be quicker to do the old fashioned thing and go to the local shops.
Why oh why don't you speak to your customers? This could have been sorted in minutes. The whole point of this was to save time not wait and wait for emails and not sending messages via your own link.
What a shame. The meals were nice but not worth the time wasting and stress

We’ve been using Planthood for a while and absolutely love it. The meals are delicious, varied and easy to cook.
It takes all the hassle out of meal planning and shopping, while still feeling like you’re cooking a proper meal from scratch. We’ve discovered some lovely dishes that we wouldn’t have thought to make ourselves.
Great food, great choice and really convenient — we’re definitely sticking with it! 😊

I tried Planthood after a few other meal boxes. I love that the recipes are all vegetarian/ vegan and the meals are a lot more balanced than the likes of Gousto etc. Customer service were also very responsive when I had to get in touch to change my address. However, one thing I really value with the other boxes is being able to keep and reuse the meals I liked, which isn't an option here as the sauces come pre-made (this also makes them feel less fresh though that may not be the case). Another very minor gripe is that they don't provide printed recipes. I understand the reasoning for this but I prefer not to use my phone for recipes while I cook. I also wasn't hugely impressed with the quality of ingredients; I got two boxes and both times had fresh ingredients that were already a bit worse for wear when they arrived, which isn't ideal when you get a box to last the week. There isn't an easy way to report this via the website (that I could find anyway) so the only way to do so is by email. Considering the more premium pricing vs others I've tried I expected ingredients to have a better shelf life. Ultimately 3 stars because it is convenient and the recipes are good.

I chose Planthood as I could clearly see the nutritional benefits and ingredients. The meals are really hearty, full of flavour and the portions are perfect. The instructions are easy to follow and my meals look exactly like the photo!

The meals are always amazing taste fantastic, really good quality ingredients, really enjoying my meals from planthood. Highly recommend.

I used to really like planthood but recently the quality has been much poorer and I have received produce on a number of occasions that was unusable well before the use by date. I also agree with other reviews about the inflexible cutoff date. It used to feel like a much more personal, helpful service, but sadly this doesn’t seem to be the case any more, and the too long email responses just quote the terms and conditions at you. Obviously there is a lead time issue, but there should be a way of cancelling an order after the cutoff if it is really necessary as an exception (eg you are on holiday or there is a meal in the chefs selection that you cannot eat) rather than leaving meals to go to waste. The company claims this is impossible but it’s really just a lack of generosity on their part; clearly a reduction could be offered in those circumstances and the meals could be put to better use.

I have loved using Planthood for these last three weeks. I would never have thought to cook some of the delicious meals I have eaten. Even when I missed the date to choose by, I thoroughly enjoyed the meals they selected for me. Two things I love most, the meals are easy to cook and quick! I have a busy job and can’t be spending hours cooking when I get home. Having everything just portioned out and ready to go makes cooking so quicky and I’m actually enjoying it again. I was easting the same thing on repeat every week and soo bored. I’m not missing meat and even my husband has changed his mind about tofu, having had a bad experience in the past! I loved the smashed falafel tacos and in fact, haven’t had a bad dinner.

I’m also impressed with the portions. My husband is a big guy, and I like big portions, and in the past when trying other box deliveries, I’ve had to order for three people just to feel full. With these dinners, my eyes often think I’m going to be left starving 😂 but can honestly say I’ve never been left hungry! And… I’ve been doing 16:8 fasting and the dinners mean I can go until midday from without eating again!

Also saves on my shopping bill knowing I have 4 days sorted without needing to go shopping for dinner.

Honestly so impressed and I’m (by my own admission) hard to please.

I don’t often leave reviews, but this service totally l deserves 5 minutes of my time.

Delicious healthy meals. Just what I want to eat and give my family without the time and headspace needed to create it all myself. So good.

High quality ingredients. Very tasty food. Recyclable packing. Easy to prepare. Slightly on the expensive side

Inconsistent, inflexible and poor customer service. Payment was declined and within 3 minutes of a declined transaction I transferred funds into the account and emailed them to try the transaction again. They responded to basically say tough you’ve missed the cut off and the payment failed so you won’t get your delivery now. However the cut off they gave in the email was over 9 hours prior to the transaction time and as I believed is the cut off time for your meal selection not payment. Yet when the same thing happened last month whoever handled my email then was able to just put the transaction through again. If you’re neurodivergent and struggle with strict, inflexible deadlines I would suggest looking elsewhere and save yourself the stress of dealing with this inconsistent, inflexible company.
