Scam site that charges you €0,10 to lock you into an expensive subscription which you didnt agree to and not even receiving an account activiation , no email, no billing statement, invoice nothing. After filling a dispute to PayPal they refunded the last 2 payments as they would get trouble with Paypal and the other two they said this: Dear User

Regarding the refund you requested for this month, since we have already completed the monthly payment process with our suppliers, our systems and financial department are unable to process refunds. so I’ve been tweaking my LinkedIn headshot and ran a handful of tests in PixlEnhance using the hairstyle simulation. It’s… decent. The good: the simulated styles map reasonably well to head shape... and it helps you gauge how much forehead shows... which matters for a clean profile look. Where it stumbles is with flyaways and layered cuts—the blend can look a bit pasted-on if your original photo’s lighting is complicated. If you shoot under even light... it holds up better. I ended up using it more as a planning tool and less as a final image. Mixed bag... but not a waste of time.

Mir wurden heute auch die 49,90 abgezogen. Erstmal habe ich über Paypal die monatliche Zahlung gecancelt. Der ''Starglow'' Firma über Mail zu schreiben bringt reingarnichts. Typischerweise... weil die halt dreckiger Abschaum sind obviously. Da kriegt ihr nur eine automatisierte Mail von einem Bot zurück.

Dann habe ich direkt bei Paypal angerufen und mit dem Support geredet. Der nette Mann meinte er könnte das Verfahren für den Käuferschutz einleiten aber er könne für nichts garantieren, weil sie wohl bei genau solchen Fällen meist nichts machen können. Ich meinte dann nur: ''Machen sie es einfach. Was hab ich für eine andere Wahl..'' Das Verfahren wurde eingeleitet und ich bekam in der selben Minute das Geld wieder zurück. Keine ahnung ob es daran lag, dass ich es am selben tag gemerkt und gemacht habe oder weil die solche dreckigen bekannten Scammer sind aber ich bekam das Geld zurück. FU (..I.) ihr Starglow scammer!

Uploaded a few photos just to test things out and the process was smooth.

The enhancement feature works well for slightly blurry images. Not perfect,but definitely better than the original.

I used the passport photo feature before renewing my passport. The size and format worked without any issues.

Warning! Scam company, taking a small payment for a song then next day taking an unauthorised amount from your PayPal account without authorisation, even if you haven’t signed up for anything

Absolute Abzocke. Man wird mit einem akzeptablen von 0,10 € für ein einzelnes Bild angelockt. Unmittelbar danach landet man faktisch in einem völlig überteuerten Abo für 49,90 € – ohne klare, unmissverständliche Warnung.

Die Preisgestaltung ist bewusst intransparent und gezielt darauf ausgelegt, dass Nutzer die Abo-Falle beim schnellen Kauf übersehen. Seriös ist daran nichts. Wer hier seine Zahlungsdaten eingibt, geht ein unnötiges Risiko ein. Klare Empfehlung: Abstand halten und nicht darauf hereinfallen.

Stay away! Do not accept the trial period and do not pay the small amount of 0.10 in advance!!! They will charge you 49.99 the very next day and on a monthly subscription. The service is not good at all anyway.

And they do not always charge as an automatic payment from Paypal that you could easily cancel in Settings > Payments > Automatic Payments. It just doesn't show up there, despite their badly written broken email confirmation stating it was an automatic renewal subscription.

Be careful, these people are tricksters.

Pixlenhance charges €0.10 for a “background removal,” but that payment secretly enrolls you in a €49.90/month PRO subscription.
I never knowingly subscribed, never used the service, yet was billed twice before i realised.
This is a deliberate dark-pattern tactic: hide the subscription behind a micro-payment.
PayPal provided zero warning, filtering, or protection or help after the fact.
This is deceptive, unethical, and effectively a scam.

A permanent charge of €49.50 has been activated on my PayPal account, with the silent complicity of PayPal, starting from October 25, 2025, to today (3 charges). The Pixlenhance website stated that I had to cancel my trial period and, more generally, my Membership Plan from the site after logging in. The problem is that I never registered on the site and, once I did, no Membership Plan subscription was active. Only after blocking the recurring charge from my PayPal site, returning to the Pixlenhance website did I discover that today, December 25, 2025, the Plan status was: Subscription has been cancelled, no further charges will be made. In short, a total disgrace, with a sneaky activation method by the merchant for a very expensive service that I have never used, and a complete lack of filtering or alerting from PayPal. I am very disappointed by what happened to me... I would certainly have preferred to donate 150 EUR to some poor person who would have needed it more today, Christmas day.

I entered into trying this company in October 2025. They requested a £0.10 payment to verify who I was. Since then I have been charged £49.50 per month for something I didn't agree to.
PayPal have sided with them.
On the website I have since found, I see they quoted Trustpilot rating them 4.5 stars with 2.7 million reviews?????. I don't see any reviews.
Lease don't use this site unless you've got money to waste, I haven't. I've been very remiss in not keeping my eye on my PayPal account
