Horrible! Horrible! The product listed was far from what was depicted online.

They now have me waiting 21 days for my credit card to be refunded.

No more online purchases from them!

I ordered a mirror in Dec 2020, it arrived broken, I contacted customer service and was told a new one would be shipped. Ultimately I was informed that they would not be able to replace the product. 3 times I have been offered store credit and I have requested a refund, 3 times I have been told that it would be taken care of in 1-2 weeks. Still no refund, it has been 5 wks since the last communication.

Buyer Beware! This company has the worst customer service! The worst return policies! When you email them immediately to cancel; they only give you 15 minutes, they emailed me back the next day saying it’s passed 15 minutes! They look to rip off customers!

Extremely rude customer service

They wouldn’t speak upon entering ( idk if it’s because I’m black and they’re racist or if it’s just them being downright unprofessional)

This happened almost every time I visited. I didn’t come often for this reason but gave them chance due to their sales during the off season.

They should be out of business with this type of attitude. I wouldn’t waste my support on their online products and risk them reopening.
Very bad customer relations Pier 1!

I’m trying to receive a refund from them of a shipment that got damaged and it never arrived in my house. This was back in November. I have been calling them every 10 days, and it’s the same thing. What else can I do to receive my refund? This is so frustrating!!!!!!!!!

I am shocked after reading all of the terrible reviews. I could take a piece from each review to describe my experience. Pier 1 is a scam. I received an email right after I placed my order with the shipping information. However, it never shipped. After emailing and calling several times and being told it was a delayed shipment due to Covid I started to get very suspicious. I called again and they finally told me that my Items were no longer available and that I should receive a refund within 7-10 days. Well, I am still waiting for my refund. I have put an Alert/Dispute on my Credit Card for this charge. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH PIER 1!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was searching for feather art via Pier1.com. It's Not the same Pier 1 imports. The new site has the logo and color scheme of Vintage Pier 1 imports,  but the life, beauty and uniqueness of Pier 1 imports has long gone. Pier 1 was purchased by another company when it went out of business according to employees from the Pier 1 store that closed in my location. This information is also available online. If you've ever shopped online with Pier 1 prior to 2018 you will definitely see the difference in the current website. I've shopped with Pier 1 imports online and in store for over a decade and dislike seeing the now cheap imitation with a larger price tag. Just let Pier 1 imports die instead of putting up this graveyard website and selling Big Lot type merchandise with Pottery Barn prices.

I placed an order with this company March 2020.
After waiting many months i emailed them.
To be told they were waiting for shipment,and would be in touch.After many emails and promises, I asked for a refund.After that I could not get any replies to further emails i sent.
I was particularly upset, after waiting for so long for the item I had ordered That a company can take my money and not refund it.

This place is a joke. I ordered 2 kinds of reed diffuser oil. They took my money and after 3 weeks I had not received the product. I contacted customer service they told me my shipment was damaged and asked me to pick something else. They were out of the scents I ordered. They only had one scent I was not interested in. I asked for a refund. They refused and offered me a replacement product that I was not interested in. Again, I asked for a refund of my money. Again they refused and offered me %125 discount. Meaning I could get something free. They refused again to refund my money, so I selected 4 of the bottles of reed diffuser oil in a scent I didnt want because that was the only product they had. The scent was on sale, and 3 bottles was less money than my original order, so the 4th one would have been cover by the extra %25 discount. They wrote me back saying they would only send 2 bottles. How in the actual f!$@ is that even right? They refused multiple times to refund my money and then agree to compensate me and then send me product that is less expensive than what I already paid. The kicker is, I still have not received a shipping number or the product or anything. Dont spend your money with this company unless you want to just send them money and not ever receive anything you order. Prepare to get ignored after you bring up the facts.

New Pier One is awful. They cancelled all credit card rewards for existing customers, cancelled all gift cards held by existing customers, and will not honor any defective products sold prior to their “New Management” taking over.
I bought six outdoor club chairs in an outdoor weatherproof wicker like material that was supposed to hold up to outdoor elements less than two years ago, and one of them is falling apart. For the price I paid they need to do something, but will not. It is disgraceful. Such a shame, it was a great store before-
I guess I am a Wayfair shopper now. Much better return policy and customer care.

Good Products but worst service ever
I had been a long time shopper and loved the products but no more Pier 1 now. I received the packages in couple of boxes, but packing was so terrible, some of items were broken and splited in the box.
To get a refund I made a call to customer support, never answer. I could contact a customer support, seems to be she is the only customer support, she was very rude and she requested to prove the damaged items by photos and so on. I spended half an hours to return and got a gift card instead of money back.
Be aware buying at Pier 1. Don't expect old pier 1.

I haven't ordered anything from Pier I for awhile, so I don't know if this is a new policy, but I just received a print that I ordered. I don't like it and want to return it. No problem, except they don't give your money back, you get a STORE CREDIT. Are you kidding me? Plus I have to pay for shipping, they do not offer a flat fee. It will probably cost me more to send this thing back than what I paid for it. BEWARE!!!!

Products from other companies and resold. Materials and quality misrepresented. Paying for refund shipping. Told only gift cards for returns and time to receive item is weeks if not longer

I order something 20 days ago and have not received it. They of course charged my account immediately. I received an email today requesting a review of the product. I called Pier One and they said they are so sorry but it hadn’t shipped. I will never order from them again!

I ordered a TV Stand about 4-5 weeks ago from Pier 1. Unfortunately, the package arrived with zero tools for assembly (screws, washers, etc). I can’t tell you the amount of times I called to resolve this issue. The customer support is by far the worst in the business. I’m fine with losing some money to gain knowledge.... I’ll never order/buy a single product from this company again !

I purchased air freshener 3 weeks ago. It has moved farther away from where it originally shipped. It has been at the same location for the last 8 days. 1,700 miles from my house! They said not to call them back until another week went by. I have called 3 times & they keep telling me it will be here any time. Its kind of hilarious since its just sitting somewhere day after day after day.

I ordered an item online on November 26. Item sat in the status of “not yet shipped” for two weeks. I emailed customer service twice and received no response. I finally left feedback on Facebook which prompted customer service to finally respond. They are claiming the item is out of stock and they have no idea when it will be back. It would have been nice to hear this 3 WEEKS ago when I ordered it as it was a Christmas gift. If I hadn’t complained, I guess they just would have kept my money. Very shady. Horrible customer service. Don’t fall for it like I did.

Ordered an item and when it wasn't shipped after over a week I wrote an email to their customer support, no response. Approximately 10 days later I took it upon myself to call in order to initiate a cancellation. This is the single worst customer service call I have ever experienced in my life. The guy was extremely rude and said because of the speed at which orders are processed and shipped I would have had to cancel it 15 minutes after the order was made. He continually interrupted me, scolded me for interrupting him, and told me I was wrong. Never in my life have I spoken to a representative that was so hostile.

After insulting me, he decided to inform me that I would have to wait to receive the order and process it as a refund. This would be fine but I really don’t think this order will ever be sent to me.

I've been a Pier 1 customer for over 25 years. I loved shopping at my local store and even when I'd travel, I'd like to peek into a Pier 1 to see what beautiful goodies they had. My home is full of Pier 1 stuff and I've spent tons of money with them over the years. Now that the their stores are closed, I decided to order some Christmas stuff on-line. I usually avoid sites where I have to pay shipping fees, but I felt the items I've purchased in person over the years, have been nice quality items, so I decided to give them a try on-line. I can't begin to describe what I was sent and the fake quality that it was. I also ordered a wreath which was canceled for some reason, but thank God they are issuing a refund. When I tried to return the pictures I ordered because they weren't the right color and because the graphic looked faded, the svc rep got very rude, overtalked me and told me they'd have to charge me a return shipping fee. I had already paid $15 to have it shipped and now they wanted to charge me another $7 to return it. I'm pretty financially stable and the total $22 would not have crippled me, but I just didn't like how the svc rep handled me and refused to waive the fee even though my reason for return was one of the 3 reasons why they would waive a fee. The online experience with the nasty rep put a bad, bad taste in my mouth so I won't ever shop with them again. Other retailers have friendlier policies and are worth my time and money to deal with. But sorry Pier 1, you lost a good paying, long time-loyal customer because your products are now shoddy and your reps are super rude!!

I’ve always liked Pier 1 and their quality. So in the beginning of November I thought I’d order a couple of items.its 6 weeks later and 2 out of 4 have never shown up and now I am requesting refunds. If you actually want to receive your items, don’t ship at Pier 1 online.
