I am writing to share a serious concern about the billing practices I experienced with Ryan Jones, (who identified himself also as the Practice Manager at Speak Beauty Studios). I was enrolled in a trial offer (noted as a low-cost trial), but I was subsequently billed a significantly higher amount with little or no clear explanation of what the charge covered, and without an easy path to cancellation or a refund.

Not all of the sheets match what Ryan is playing, but I know many of the songs don't have specific sheets for vocals for instance if the song mainly has the piano part as instrumental. He's been a great teacher however. I've been using my iPad on my keyboard which makes watching and playing convenient. I'm excited when I go to drama class in school now because there's a piano in the auditorium and I play stuff that friends and teachers recognize.

My teenager fell victim to this "sales pitch". Having not been experienced in reading the fine print, she fell for this $.99/ 30-day trial. The issue is, this was in 2020. I am still getting the notice "$297 piano keys charge is DECLINED due to card being locked". I did not even have an account, never have I even seen the site. So the fact that 3 years later, they are still trying to charge me is absolutely indication that this is fraud. She never used the piano stuff, only signed up. So if this is monthly, WHY AM I STILL BEING CHARGED? 🤔!! I have seen this companies responses all over the BBB, it further proves how pre mediated this company has been with the way they sell this. I don't know anything about the "product" since I've never seen anything. I find it really hard to believe they offer anything like $297/mo. That's a car payment, I wish I would get a hold of these people.

It may be better now it mentions $9.95 pm after the first month for 99c. but I was charged $297 no explanation of what that was for and the 30 day refund didn't exist

Absolute scam. Collecting payment details for an almost free trial ($0.99), apparent money back guarantee, hard to cancel, huge yearly (not monthly) billing, no phone number to contact them on. I didn't use their platform once. Suddenly you get a charge for $197 USD. They know exactly what they're doing. Disgraceful.

This is the usual low cost trial so they can charge a ridiculous £248.33 if you believe you cancelled but they insist you have not. They have no ethics or any kind or moral code so do not think you will ever get your money back. I asked , explaining I was terminally ill and was finding it difficult to play and had to retired due to ill health so my income was limited and as a gesture of 'goodwill' they offered me free lifetime access!! Wish I had read more of the reviews before i signed up!!!!

Signed up for a $49 lifetime membership, who could ever beat that? I've learned a lot of songs here, and for the money, you can't beat it with traditional lessons or anywhere online for that matter. Highly recommend! I read some of the other bad reviews on here and it looks like those people started at a lower trial price and then didn't cancel. Duh, a company is going to charge you to use their top-level famous instruction. PianoKeyz is the real deal and you can learn to play real songs plus the general theory behind playing.

Fraud company. Do not take the $0.99 trial. They will charge you $297 every month, and no way you can take them back.

This is a fraud company. they do not honor their 30 day money back guarantee. Be careful, do not sign up for the trial, it is not easy to cancel, and if you do not cancel they will charge you a ridiculous amount as subscription for the first month and will not refund that.

I just found what pianokeys.com really is, when myself became yet another victim of their scam. My paypal account charged me $297 after their $0.99/mo free trial.

I love the Youtube videos from Ryan, but it only suggests music has no correlation with a person's honesty.

Don´t sign up it is a hoax.

I signed up for a monthly subsription. On the website. The site said that the monthly fee was $10 pr. month.
After paying for the first month, it said that it would renew my subsription after 30 days for $297 pr month.

You can´t cancel your subsription online, so I wrote to the support,and asked them to cancel it. They wrote back that the monthly fee was $27. They did not confirm my cancellation, or mention the fact that the site said $297 and that it was a mistake.

I then write back that I´m confused as to the pricing, and asks how to cancel my subsription, and they write back, that I just have to notify them by mail (which I allready had done) that I wanted to cancel. I did again and they wrote back that my acces to lessons on the site was shut down. so I guess thats sort of a confirmation.

They then offered me a lifetime membership for a onetime payment of $29.

They are defently not trustworthy.

Owned and run by Ryan Jones (the piano player). Be very careful if you sing in for the free month - if you forget to cancel the subscription, site will automatically charge you $297 for the second month. Ryan will not agree to refund the money. He answers support requests and makes it clear that it's user's fault to not read the terms.
The site only has a bunch of videos most of which you already can access in youtube. The site also has a misleading ad on front page - $10/month, which makes it look like access after first month will only cost $10. So it all looks like a fraudulent attempt to earn easy money on non-attentive users so I hope someone will be able to sue him.

I signed up in July of 2016 and have learned to play about 15 songs since then. Learning to play popular songs was the main reason I signed up and I must say that the tutorials have been very helpful. One benefit is that I can play the videos on my tablet and set it right on my keyboard so that I can follow along. I like learning on my own time rather than having to go to someone's house or a studio for traditional lessons (plus they usually don't even teach you to play popular songs in most of those cases). The videos average in length based on how difficult or if the song has a lot of different parts to learn. But I also want to point at that PianoKeyz has some general (non-song) lessons too, and those have really helped my hand coordination and learning to improvise. I signed up for a one year membership at $229 so I feel the value has been very worth it. I almost took lessons locally until I notice that it would be about $40/hour, so the online lessons option wins hands down. I would recommend and to go for the 1 year membership so you don't have to worry about any monthly renewals.

I really wanted to be open to this but i watched one video of an instructor fumble through an e flat diatonic progression and he just wasn't as experienced as i had hoped. Then i saw the renewal fee of $200 a month! I was really upset. so i went to cancel and of course they make you contact their support team to cancel. so i did. they offered me a reduced price of $27 a month. down from $200! That does not scream that i am getting a deal. it says that they'll charge you what they know to be an absurd price until you cancel. when i asked them to "get back to me ASAP" they responded with "I hope you don't treat other businesses this way." lol like i was rude to ask for a timely response. if you can't offer a quality product at a decent price than you are nothing more than an online snake oil salesmen.

Jeg tilmeldte mig 1 måneds prøve abonnement for 0,99$ den første i måneden og fik adgang til alle undervisningslektionerne. Lektionerne er gode og hele konceptet virkede ok.
Hvis jeg ikke valgte at opsige mit abonnement ville prisen stige til 99$ pr måned
Jeg valgte herefter den 25. i samme måned at opsige mit abonnement via email og herefter gik det helt galt.
Deres support skrev tilbage at de var kede af at jeg ikke ville forsætte og kunne i stedet tilbyde mig et abonnement til 25$ pr måned.
Jeg skrev tilbage at dette var jeg ikke interesseret i og jeg stadig gerne ville opsige mit abonnement.
Der gik nu ca 6 uger hvor jeg antog at abonnementet var stoppet, men da jeg fik checket op på mine kontoudtog kunne jeg konstatere at jeg var blevet trukket 2 gange 99$ på trods af at jeg havde bekræftet min opsigelse to gange.
Jeg skrev til pianokeyz at dette måtte bero på en fejl og bad dem tilbageføre beløbet. Jeg fik svar fra deres support at de ville videresende min mail andensteds og jeg ville høre noget indenfor ca 1 uge.
Herefter hørte jeg ikke mere fra dem.
Jeg kontaktede herefter min bank og forelagde dem situation, hvorfor jeg udfyldte en formular omkring hele forløbet og fik refunderet beløbet.
Dette medførte i midlertidig at jeg var nødt til at lukke mit visa kort og har nu jævnligt fået rykkerskrivelse for div andre abonnementer og online services der var tilknyttet kortet om manglende betalinger.
Det har kostet rigtig meget tid og meget frustration så jeg kan på ingen måde anbefale pianokeyz.com
Jeg kan se de kører samme fremgangsmåde stadigvæk, så hvis du overvejer at tilmelde dig så tænk dig RIGTIG godt om
