Insulting and inefficient
An extremely negative experience with the UK representative/distributor for this Australian company, who has no idea how to speak to customers. There seems to be no direct route of communication. On the face of it, Phytality chlorella products look attractive. Phytality advise that their distributor is “highly informed” and has “an in-house practitioner” to answer any questions. Shockingly not so. I bought my fermented chlorella product direct from the Phytality website/distributor (with the intention of buying more) and was surprised to find NO B12 in the nutritional profile. This is unusual for chlorella, which is normally a well-cited bioavailable source. On another point, the website advises of third-party lab tests for contaminants (and which are readily available from most suppliers), yet Phytality does not show their lab results on the website. I contacted by email and politely queried both points. No reply. I phoned, and was told in a rushed, harassed manner (during which the individual spoke over me) that I was just speaking with customer service, and he had no such knowledge or answers, but gave me the impression he would follow up. Ten days later I still had no reply. I phoned a different number on the Phytality website, and made another polite enquiry. I got the same very harassed-sounding individual who spoke over me again, told me he was “very busy”, that these things “take time” and, wait for it… that my “impatience” was not going to help matters. Ironic. That was the nail in the coffin of any further purchases from me. Ten days waiting (with no acknowledgement) in the highly competitive health supplements industry, with the company represented by an extremely frazzled and irritable middle-man/spokesperson, who doesn’t know the product, and has no respect for customers. Does this speak well of the brand? Needless to say, I will not be buying again.
