There is a real irony about a company whose business is based on taking pictures using dogshit generative AI for their online advertisements. If you can't even be bothered to set up a camera to film some B-Roll or take some pictures of an actual job, why should anyone trust you to take pictures of their home? Embarrassing, lazy, pathetic. Fingers crossed I never have to see your god awful advertising ever again.

Darryl was a huge help. He turned out lease plans around quickly and was really helpful with any requests or questions I made. Incredible value for money and no unexpected fees, TBH the price was so reasonable I was surprise that there wasn't!

Well, that was easy - after a real let down from a previous renderer, daryl and his team took our models and pretty much nailed the renders on the first look - web, brochures and mailshots looking so much better now - thanks guys, we'll 100% be back

I've been searching round for a reasonably priced digital staging company as it's something I see our company using more of for marketing. I found the Virtual Staging Studio whilst searching, great website and found the price list to be very competitive. This bearing in mind a photography company we have used for a long time charge double the cost. Though we are skeptical of things being to good to be true, I tried them and the quality was fantastic, the digital staging completely changed the picture. 100% will be using them again!

Instructed Photoplan to photograph an expansive, show stopping country estate (covered by an NDA). We chose Photoplan due to the lovely case studies shown on their website (our usual photographer doesn’t like to travel that far from his usual patch). We had never used Photoplan before.

The resulting photos were, quite frankly, terrible and completely unusable for this calibre of property/client which was super disappointing considering the price (which we unfortunately paid in good faith, ahead of seeing the photos).

The angles were skew-wiff & bizarre. Many wonky photos, or strange shots cutting off half of a window frame for example, or not centring the image on the focal point. It looked like an amateur photographer trying to do his best, rather than a professional property photographer.

Ben had photoshopped a blue sky in, but unfortunately used exactly the same sky (& cloud formation) across all images which is absurd for obvious reasons.

Some photos had been made super colourful & some were really dull. The pack of photos was not harmonious.

The property benefits from an incredible view and we have zero usable shots of the view – which is one of the main selling points of the property. There is also a grand staircase and not one photo has the whole staircase in it.

Initially, I tried to (really politely, and probably more kindly than i should have!) query the shots to see if anything could be done with editing or perhaps a re-visit but was immediately met with an incredibly rude & unhelpful response. Ben stated the property is ‘’neglected’’ and the ‘’lack of wow factor’’ was ‘’due to the property being vacant’’. We have staff living & working on site daily, and the property is cherished, and absolutely not neglected.

Ben also stated that he didn’t have enough time to complete the photography – instead of 1 day on site, he said he should have been hired for a whole week to capture the necessary shots (despite me providing him with floorplans, site plans, the address, square footage of the property etc etc in advance).

Naturally I was very offended by these comments, and frustrated that his lack of preparation was blamed on the client. I would expect a photographer (who does this day-in-day-out) to have asked all of the relevant questions he needed to, in order to ensure he was properly prepared & happy to do the job. And if he expects to need a certain amount of time on a job due to its size, then he should have told the client and we could have organised that.

I tried a few further times to politely resolve the situation without being so blunt about the state of his work, unfortunately he refused to engage with me to try and come to a happy conclusion for both of us.

The whole situation was very bizarre.

We have since managed to get our normal photographer to visit and his photos were fantastic!

Clearly a poor workman blames his tools.

They were very kind and patient with me and answered all my many questions before I signed-up as a paying customer. The process of getting the measured plan, professional photographs and the 360° walk-through and “dolls house” was very quick and painless. Thoroughly professional outfit. I did wonder about having all that done for a one bedroom flat but it looks fantastic and was very worthwhile. I can’t stop looking at the photographs of my lovely flat. It looks terrific.

What an amazing service, I instructed Ben at Photoplan to take Photos and a Virtual Tour of my newly refurbished flat for Airbnb. The photos look incredible and the Virtual Tour is simply amazing, you can navigate around the flat using your phone. I have already had a few bookings and it''s only been up for less than 48 hours. Darryl at Photoplan has - after an initial glitch that caused some angst - done his best and resolved all the issues. I am grateful to him for sorting this out satisfactorily.
