J’avais un gros stock de photos argentiques de à numériser. Ces tirages papier dataient de la période pré-numérique, soit de 20 à 30 ans. J’ai acheté PhotoGlory pour supprimer facilement la dérive chromatique due au vieillissement du papier ainsi que les rayures de celui-ci sur certaines photos. Mon avis est mitigé. PhotoGlory est très simple a utiliser et donne de très bons résultats sur certaines photos, notamment s'agissant de cette dérive. Cela étant, le traitement réduit drastiquement la résolution (je n’ai en tout cas pas trouvé comment éviter cela). La résolution obtenue convient toutefois à un usage web, mais est très loin de la résolution « brut de scan ». Par ailleurs, le traitement génère sur certaines images des artéfacts blancs problématiques. C’est par exemple le cas sur des branchages. Ce point est à améliorer.

Using the software to colourise old photos was fantastic. Seeing my mums face light up when she saw old b&w pictures of herself and my late dad in glorious colour really brought the pictures to life and stired many old forgotten memories of the great times they enjoyed together.

This is a top notch program for restoring those memorable old photographs you have that mean so much to you. I requested help when restoring a particular photograph and the staff was polite and more than eager to lend help, all in all more than helpful.

I have many old photos and slides to improve, and this tool has been a good choice for me so far. I am expecting to make a lot of use of the batch process tool. I'm very happy with this purchase

Just started using PhotoGlory, wow found it so easy, and as a novice found it did exactly what i wanted, it upscaled my old photos perfectly, restored them like new.
Very happy with this software, and the team behind it responded fast to my questions on the help site...

The software is good but don’t try to buy additional filters or anything you don’t get a password and then you have to contact customer support and then you get a password so you can get what you paid for.

The software was extremely slow in attempting to enhance an older photograph. On several different old photos the color balance was difficult to work with and never seemed to produce a satisfactory result. My office IT professional determined that the software does not work well on machines using pre Windows 10 although PhotoGlory would not accept this. No refund was ever offered.

I was trialling the software, unable to test the restore old photo feature, so I paid for the full version.
The old photo restore feature did not function as advertised in the promotional videos.
It made my photos worse, leaving blurred lines over minor scratches, and it automatically lowers resolution to 25% of original image. Unacceptable in my view.

Contacted support, they were responsive and helpful, I opted for a refund on the software.

The company advertises the newest release of Photogrly with the new function 'Restore old photo'. Because this function is not present in the trial (maybe on purpose) I decided to purchases this product. Unfortunately this function does not what the name suggests. It only restores minimal defects and at the same time reduces the photo to a minimal size. I contacted support and they told me that 'Restore old photo' only certain damaged photos can restore and that you have to do the remainder of the restore yourself. I would not have purchased this product if I could have test this function in the trail version; the fact that this new function performs so badly is most probably the reason that it is not included in the trail. So be warned before you purchase this product if you intend to use it for the restoration of old photos.
I asked for a refund but that is refused.

Several things stand out regarding PhotoGlory. First, it is intuitive to use. There is no real learning curve needed. Second, it improves the appearance of old, faded pictures quite automatically and effectively. I found the colorizing capability a bit weak but it's not a function that I need or use. Third, it has a batch processing function that makes it easy to process a large number of images efficiently. Lastly, the support desk is effective and comprehensive.

I tested PhotoGlory and then bought it. I am very satisfied and can recommend the software. Super easy, ideal for getting started with photo editing.

I bought the PhotoGlory Pro 6 version. THe software works fairly well, except when I sometimes colorize B/W is does not work well. Also my current problem is I thought I was downloading a new release to update my current version, but it was a trial version. This replaced my bought version. I deleted the app, all files and tried to re-install my bought version, but it errors out with a cant connect message. I have 2 tickets with AMS Software, but no reply's. This is very frustrating, there is no person to talk to just send problem tickets with no response and cant use the software now?

AMS, replied and sent me a downloadable that I was able to use to restore my bought version. I am back to where I need to be to continue to update my photos. Thank you AMS.

My edited review. If you are looking for a one click AI restoration, then this might not be the one for you. I had this side by side with Hitpaw and what a difference. But if I have to spend some time to do some manipulation, then it comes out ok which may not be applicable for batch processing. The price is definitely lower than Hitpaw.

C'est "le" logiciel qu'il faut absolument avoir dans sa bibliothèque. Il est plus que complet : récupération de photos anciennes (même déchirées), embellissement des clichés, coloration des images en N & B. Des cadres (à l'ancienne ou pas) magnifiques avec rajout de textes dans les polices de son choix (et que sais-je encore tant les possibilités sont énormes).
Les programmeurs sont d'une extrême gentillesse et d'une compétence formidable, toujours prêts à te conseiller si besoin.
Je vous recommande vivement de l'acheter car il sert en permanence en donnant des résultats dépassant toute espérance.

Downloaded and installed the basic program then upgraded to the full version. Decided to upgrade to pro version and they gladly took my money. Downloaded pro and followed prompts for install. When I open the program and try to use some of the pro features (scan for example) I am prompted to upgrade to pro which I have already done and paid for. No way to get a refund for either the full or pro versions.
Be very careful when dealing with this company.
You will be sorry.

The program is really great in fixing old photos and colorizing B&W photos.

I recently Purchased Photo Glory and being a Man over 98 years, I had difficulty installing it, I contacted Photo Glory Support and the Continued support I received . I have never had Better advice from a support service And A Quick return to any Questions I asked In my early life we only had Black and white Photo A camera had to have a Film in it which had to be developed so I have a lot of Photos to Colour and the ones I have Coloured I am very Happy with I am very Pleased I Purchased Photo Glory I have found much superior to the othe one I was using Thank you All
