Missing items; Horrible Refund Process
Orders shipped late, had missing parts and the refund/replacement process was a nightmare. I ordered almost $150 of plumbing items. A couple dozen ($50) were missing from the package. Customer service does not respond to email so I had to call. They blamed FedEx and told me I could not receive a refund until the claim they filed with FedEx was processed, which could take several days to weeks. I asked them to reship the items. They said they'd process that right away and it would ship soon. Several days passed and no shipment. I had to call repeatedly to check in on when the items would ship and kept getting changing estimates. The customer service is in the same facility as the warehouse so shipments shouldn't take days and customers shouldn't have to repeatedly call to check in on them. Not to mention my original shipment arrived a couple days after the estimate, so take their "speedy delivery" estimates with a grain of salt. I shouldn't be surprised, if you do the research and read reviews for this company on all sites, they all say the same thing: Shipments will arrive with missing or broken parts and the refund process is a nightmare, mostly due to poorly thought-out policy.

Trust the reviews. I ordered a pump that was around ~500 dollars and they called and asked me to verify order by giving them CC number. I didnt have the card at the time so i told them ill call later to give them the info. And the lady called me this is fraud and not to order from them again and hung up on me.
They make you pay for their mistakes
PexUnivese mis-picked my box and did not send my complete order. They're willing to ship the replacements, but only by ground. I tried to cancel the order and get a return label, as their offer was too slow for my project - I budgeted for one shipment time, not two - and they were unwilling to do so.
At this point I feel cheated.
On a $1,000 order
On a $1,000 order, I received a defective Ox Box. They will not send a replacement until I ship the defective part back at my own expense. Their customer service is really bad. unfortunate but the other reviews are true. The reason I had to pay to ship was that I did not notify them within 14 days. So if you receive a large order be sure to inventory each part before sending it to the job sire. Better yet do business with a reliable company. Of course, that is their company policy so they are in the right. Right but not good customer service.

lousy service. terrible company
I asked before purchase if the fittings on manifold can be switched to expansion style for pex a. They told me that they are already correct for that. I wanted to be real clear so emailed back and confirmed that the fittings will indeed work for expansion method on Pex A. They confirmed. I ordered 2 units. They did not work. I emailed them back and they pretty much said too bad. Lousy people to do business with. I won't be making that mistake again.
communications felt fraudulent
I made a small order (just over 100$) and they emailed me and asked me to call. When I did they wanted me to give them my credit card number over the phone. When I refused, they ended up cancelling the order.

I purchased over $1,200 in Pex materials, tubing, DWV parts, and tools and it arrived 2 days after placing the order. I was very pleased with my experience. The parts came in two large cardboard boxes and were mostly thrown into the boxes, but considering their hard plastic and metal composition, it doesn't damage them at all.
As for my customer service experience. My order was missing two bags of pex elbows and a few adapters were 1/2" rather than 3/4". I assume this was due to my order containing well over 1,000 items. I called, had to call back multiple times as the phone sends you to voicemail after 2 1/2 minutes. Once I connected with a representative, she sent me all the replacement parts within 5 minutes and sent me a return label to return the incorrect items I had received.
I WILL BE USING PEXUNIVERSE.COM AGAIN IN THE FUTURE!
misleading pictures, terrible customer service
I ordered the 10-port copper manifold with 1/2 pex valves.
The pictures on their site clearly showed Dahl valves, but I received some other brand of valve that were clearly of less quality. I called customer services and was ensured that they are still Dahl valves, but after a quick conversation with Sioux Cheif (the manufacturer) it was confirmed they are infact NOT Dahl valves. So essentially, Pex universe LIED to me, in hopes I would just go away. Now they won't even pay for return shipping...They would rather upset a customer than spend $30 due to a mistake on their end. Stay away

My husband ordered a zone valve for our boiler . When it came in and was installed, the part was defective. When he called - not only are we out the part , WE have to pay for shipping on a defective part and wait again for hopefully one that actually works . BUYER BEWARE of the company and the employee's very very negative attitude ! Apparently they're ABOVE customers and don't need them .

I've never seen a place that operates like this. I placed an order and selected the shipment that stated it would arrive Saturday. The tracking info showed Monday so I reached out to customer service. The rep was extremely rude and repeatedly told me I was wrong and that FedEx does not deliver on Saturdays. She further argued that "if you could have selected Saturday shipping, it would be on your confirmations, so why don't you just send that to me." The confirmation did show Saturday delivery and her tone changed. She talked to her manager and FedEx who confirmed it suddenly would be delivered Saturday. I followed up with FedEx directly the next day that stated they never received any request for Saturday delivery from PexUniverse. I called back and spoke to the manager, who was equally dismissive and rude while telling me Saturday delivery was not an option, despite being told the day prior that they had verified it would. Only after I asked specifically that they call and request Saturday delivery (at my cost for the change) was anything actually done. This "customer service" team repeatedly lied and accused me a lying about what their own website offered. At the end of the day, I would have paid whatever it took to get the part by Saturday regardless, but the customer service provide by PexUniverse was among the worst I have ever encountered.

Ordered a part that I needed ASAP, paid expedited shipping to receive it yesterday. No order info, no follow up, no tracking info, just an email requesting me to call re: billing phone number. Called them back, left message, no follow up, nothing. Order was never shipped, their phones shut off in the middle of a call. Will never order from these clowns again, far better sellers out there to contractors.

She wasn't rude, but In not so many words, they basically called me a thief - because I had a PO BOX for a billing address and a different physical address. Sale fell through - wasted bunches of time rounding up the stuff I needed to trim a new construction project - not to mention time on the phone trying to straighten out the S.N.A.F.U. circumstances - never again! Once you figured out how much time you invested and lost, you'll find you can't afford to buy anything from these folks. Anything I would have saved I just lost in time.
Wrong pump curve, and won't return my inquiry.
Bought 2 circulator pumps and reviewed pump curves available online. The online information did not state that the pumps would go into a "eco-mode" after 12 hours, forcing the pumps to work at about 1/2 capacity. These pumps were for a continuous application, therefore they were useless in this application. Tried to contact the supplier and they would not return my request. The pump curves shipped with the pumps were correct and verified the "eco-mode". Pexuniverse has incorrect information on the website. Most likely the fault of the circulator pump manufacturer, but should have been fixed by Pexuniverse. No response of any sort.

Bought a sewage pump from them and after installing it found it was defective. contacted them immediately but had to pay again for a replacement. order was cancelled due to it was not in stock so they cancelled my order and refunded my money. Got the RMA from them and shipped the defective pump back. Two weeks later only got a partial refund back. Called again and was told that it was policy to have a 15% restocking fee. So let me get this straight, you buy a pump and hope that it works and if it doesn't, you still have to pay 15%. What a load of garbage!!! As a contractor, I have bought some items from them and have sent many of my plumbers there as well. I can tell you that after this experience , I will never buy from them again and I will be telling my plumbers to stay away as well. If enough of us do this, they have one of two choices. Either change their policies or go out of business!! Buyer beware!!
