On July 21, 2026, I opened a shipment that literally brought tears to my eyes. Inside were six cases of Petralyte—nearly 600 servings of life-saving electrolytes for the senior dogs and cats at Bella Bear's Senior Pet Sanctuary. This wasn't something I ordered. It wasn't something I could afford. It was a gift.

When I first reached out to Petralyte, I simply shared our story. I explained that we are a brand new 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing lifelong sanctuary, hospice care, and emergency support for senior pets and the families who love them. I told them that in the desert, hydration isn't a luxury—it can be the difference between comfort and crisis for fragile elderly animals.

They didn't hesitate. They wrote back and said, "We'd love to support you." Those words meant more than they probably realize. As a small organization just getting started, there are days when the veterinary bills seem impossible, the needs never stop, and I wonder how I'll keep up. Then something like this happens, and I'm reminded that there are companies filled with compassionate people who truly care about making a difference.

That is something I will never forget.

Petralyte was awesome enough to send samples for nan event we hosted. I saved a couple for my senior dogs and saw a huge differnece with their energy levels fromproper hydration. The beef flavor was a hit!

As the director of Forgotten Purrs Cat Rescue, we care for some of the sickest and most medically fragile cats and kittens that come off the streets. Hydration is often one of the biggest challenges we face, especially during the Texas heat and with cats recovering from illness, surgery, or severe upper respiratory infections.

We’ve been very pleased with Petralyte as a supportive hydration product. It’s easy to offer, and we’ve found it to be a helpful addition to the care we provide alongside veterinary treatment. We appreciate that it’s formulated specifically for cats and contains electrolytes and nutrients designed with feline health in mind.

It’s also a great product to have when caring for community and street cats. Many outdoor cats don’t get enough fluids, especially during periods of extreme heat. I received my sample order very fast. My cat loved the flavors. I really think it's helping

It’s not in your company did my cat won’t eat with the pattern in it

The product is very good. My cat goes to the bathroom regularly now I would recommend this product to anybody that has cats or dogs. I’ll be giving it to my cat faithfully every day for two or three months.

First the unflavored option is perfect. I mix in the Petralyte into a little of Tiki Cat Stix Lickable wet treat, along with 1/4 tsp of NHV PetOmega 3, and hand feed her. I will be adding some other supplements. Melody Joy is well hydrated .

Opened one of the packets and part of it had solidified as if it melted from heat exposure then turned solid when the weather cooled down? Threw that part out and used the rest of it in my cat's food. It was the unflavored and my cat ate it up so at least the unflavored worked out for her taste wise! Not sure it helped my cat or not, too early to tell.

The product arrived quickly, my cat is older and fussy, but I sprinkled it into his fish added a bit of water mixed then added his wet food, he ate his food had no idea he is not an easy one to trick! Product performed above and beyond its claim, I already purchased another order!
