Om toegang te krijgen tot gedetailleerde advertentiegegevens direct van het advertentieplatform van Meta, moet je een adverteerder zijn met een geregistreerd bedrijfsaccount. Wij doen echter ons uiterste best om deze gegevens zo transparant mogelijk te maken voor onze diereneigenaren via het dashboard dat wij aanbieden. Dit dashboard geeft real-time updates over de prestaties van de campagne, waaronder het aantal weergaven dat je advertentie heeft bereikt. Ons team heeft veel moeite gedaan om deze tool te ontwikkelen, zodat je zoveel mogelijk inzicht hebt in hoe jouw campagne verloopt.

Scammers absolutely. Paying for false reviews. Only accepting friends & family payments, even after I said I'd send more for the fee and wouldn't lie and mark they were friend or family.

First, I’m not sure what you mean by "friends and family" payments. We offer multiple payment methods and offer receipts and invoices. If there’s any misunderstanding, we’re here to discuss and clarify.
Secondly, I want to stress that we are absolutely not scammers. Helping people find their missing pets is at the heart of what we do, and we’re proud to have supported so many pet parents through difficult times. Regarding the nearly 400 positive reviews we’ve received: these are from real pet parents who’ve had real experiences with our service. To claim otherwise would imply we somehow paid for hundreds of reviews - which would be a logistical and financial impossibility... it makes no sense.

My view is this is definitely a scam.
****If you too were conned by this company report it to law enforcement dealing with online fraud and notify your bank as they may be able to reimburse you******
I asked for one link or screenshot of my missing poster being up anywhere at all online (other than on their website) and the company could not provide it.
They can't show anyone's anywhere despite operating all over the world.
I live and work in the area I paid for it to be displayed and am constantly on Instagram and Facebook and not once in months did I see my or anyone else's online poster ever. I also paid £150 to cover a large area as I was so desperate.
The one "poster" they create for you is extremely amateur and rubbish too. I created my own on an online poster printing website afterwards and it gives you heaps of options, tools and ideas for a reasonable price and was far far superior to theirs.
If anyone anywhere in the world can show a screenshot of their poster actually displayed online somewhere I will die of shock.
Also when you think about it how on earth can they ensure your ad is being displayed at a greater geographical distance? It's impossible unless you are an expert in marketing.
You're putting your faith in someone purely based on reviews with no knowledge of online marketing when even the reviewers have no idea if their own ad is even being displayed at all.
They emailed me an update after one day with a screen that said I had over 10,0029 views over the 1.86 miles distance (somehow I doubt that even if it was on prime time
tv in that radius) and had just six likes -and when you go to click on it to see who "liked it" you can't - yet again proving it to be a scam. Other social
media sites where you post for free garner tons of likes very quickly.
I emailed Pet Radar for clarity as to how they know it's being displayed where they say it's being displayed and a rationale as to why they charge £42 for one mile of advert coverage and £175 for two miles not £84 and a whopping £3046 for the maximum area 62 miles!!!! They couldn't provide an answer.
The fact they even have the audacity to be willing to charge £3046 to a vulnerable person EVEN had there been an online poster means they should be locked up. You'd expect your own detective, billboard and tv ad for that cost.
Anyone with a missing pet don't give up hope just print your own posters using a reputable company and put them on lamposts especially where there is heavy footfall like the streets by schools. Using the standard social platforms everyone uses alongside your own physical posters really does work.
A local guy on a missing pet forum like me has also been duped hence my motivation for writing a review.

Petradar in response to your response below I will be in touch in the New Year. I DID write to you and I did get an unsafisfactory response from your colleague Batu on 27th March:
"Regarding your request for a screenshot of our adverts, unfortunately, once a campaign has stopped, we're unable to display the ads as they are no longer active. I understand your concerns about reassurance and the need to ensure legitimacy, and I'm genuinely sorry for any inconvenience this might cause."
Everything you've written below in response is very vague with no real rationale or evidence hence why I will be reporting you to ActionFraud. If you can provide real screenshots of anyone's live ads anywhere in the world I will consider rewriting my review.

Our service leverages Meta’s advertising platform to run geo-targeted campaigns for missing pets, reaching people in the pet’s last-known area. These ads are designed to target those most likely to notice something relevant—not necessarily the immediate social network of the pet parent. If you or someone you know didn’t see the ad, it doesn’t mean it wasn’t displayed; it means Meta’s algorithm focused on others within the designated radius, based on factors like travel patterns and community engagement.
As for your claim that “nobody can show a screenshot of a poster displayed anywhere online,” this is patently false. Meta itself provides an Ad Library to ensure full transparency in ad operations and active ad campaigns.
Also, we are absolutely delighted to hear that you managed to create a poster far superior to one designed by professionals at PetRadar who specialize in maximizing visibility for lost pets. Truly, we tip our hats to your resourcefulness and creativity.
Regarding pricing, our fees reflect the costs generally set by Meta. Larger geographical areas require exponentially more reach, which directly increases ad costs. These rates are dictated by Meta and are not arbitrarily set by us. While we understand the pricing may seem high to reach tens of thousands of people, it is tied to the significant costs of digital advertising, not just our services.
Lastly, it’s important to address the accusation of manipulation. Engagement such as "likes" and "shares" is not something we control—it’s purely organic. We provide tools to amplify awareness, but we cannot force people to interact with or respond to ads.
So, we amplify awareness but cannot control how individuals react. While some pet parents find immediate success through our campaigns, every case is different, and results can depend on numerous variables.
I also noticed your other reviews for various companies, and while it is absolutely your right to advocate for yourself, question services, and fight for what is right, we as well will continue to fight for the pet parents who genuinely need our help and strive to keep our service as transparent and effective as possible.
