Pete Tong DJ Academy Anmeldelser

Hi there,

I love the content and everything you’re offering in the academy, but I’ve often feel a bit lost in it and it’s UX of the platform.

I’ve never really used thread based platform such as discord and etc. Maybe that’s why I’m having problems sometimes to navigate on it.

Having been in the music business for over 30 years I feel that there is always more than you can learn. Such a great and well organised course for DJ and music productions. I would highly recommend this. Such great value too. Paul (Still-Life)

Finally a hands on professional guide to become a pro in this industry.
Trusted tutors with decades of experience, a great handy platform, very well structured courses with the content so well broken down that it’s easy to take in and at own rhythm. But above all an excellent community where you don’t feel alone in your journey anymore.

We couldn’t recommend the PTDJA course enough to anyone looking to progress their career in this industry. Both the production and dj courses have so much depth and importance wether you’re a beginner or an experienced dj/producer you will benefit from this content.

The Pete Tong DJ Academy is far more than a typical online DJ course It is a refined and inspiring learning experience built on real industry expertise

Led by Pete Tong the academy combines technical precision with artistic mindset You learn not only how to mix with confidence but how to shape energy read a crowd and build your own musical identity

Importantly it is not just for DJs It is equally valuable for producers The academy connects DJ performance with music production showing how arrangement structure and sound design influence the dance floor and your career

The lessons are clear structured and professionally produced making complex ideas accessible Whether you are a beginner DJ an experienced selector or a producer wanting to elevate your performance perspective this platform delivers real depth

A powerful academy for artists who are serious about long term growth and professionalism

Great tutorials, scene knowledge and also opportunities to get eyes (and ears!) into your music and artistry.
Being able to be heard by top djs and invited to participate in events is also very important.

This is very usefull to get feedbacks from established dj and producer, that what I love @ PTDJA.
Lot of opportunities there. Super cool!

I’m truly happy to have become part of this amazing community. Since joining, I’ve gained new friends, valuable knowledge, and I continue to grow and develop every single week.

This academy never stands still — it constantly evolves, introducing new opportunities and resources for aspiring DJs and community members. It creates real chances for students to grow, showcase their talent, and move confidently toward bigger goals and greater achievements.

I’m grateful to be part of such an inspiring and supportive environment.

I been an amazing tool for me to get better everyday

I joined the Academy mainly to access the mastering modules as I wanted fresh perspectives in a structured approach.

What’s been genuinely great is getting direct access to top-tier electronic music mastering engineer, producer. Hearing their way of thinking (and not just “settings”) really widens your creative options: you discover different workflows, small but powerful tricks, and tools you simply don’t bump into on your own.

Another strong point: the weekly updates/news. They regularly share useful production resources (including free plugins and Ableton-related tools). That constant flow of new tools is a real boost when you’re producing a lot and don’t want your sound palette to get stale.

On support and community: the group dynamic is positive and genuinely supportive. People help each other, give feedback, and the vibe stays constructive. I also like the balance between creativity and the business side of music — you can go deep into details when needed, but there’s also a clear philosophy and career-oriented thinking behind the program.

Personally, I’m in a phase where I’m shifting from a hip-hop background into more dance/electronic music. Having a platform like this makes that transition easier, both creatively and business-wise, because it helps you understand the approach of the ecosystem and build momentum with solid guidance.

Overall: a strong experience, and I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to grow both their production/DJ mixing skills in electronic music and their career strategy.

I had an excellent experience at this academy. During my time here, I learned a lot about music production, DJing, and also how to approach the market from a professional marketing perspective. The instructors are highly skilled, knowledgeable, and truly professional; they constantly support students and create an environment that encourages real growth. Thanks to their guidance, I was able to develop both technically and artistically, and I genuinely feel that this journey has taken me to the next level.

I’ve been part of the PTDJA community since 2022 and everything is so well organised, the support, the lessons, the community itself and you can listen everything now on every stage. The production lessons as well now are something more to consider being part of the accademy. Higly reccomend it in every point.

When I joined I was completely sceptical as I wasn't expecting an online course based website to actually help. But I was soo wrong. The PTDJA team have built such an incredible platform with properly structured courses and also they really encourage the community spirit and supporting people!

A great platform. you can connect with people all around the world who are sharing the same passion for music. The courses are really good structured.

I love this school 🥹❤️ All the educational material is very interesting and everything is explained quite clearly. Plus, I really like the student community itself, where I met many friends.I highly recommend this academy.

As a former MAT Academy Student, I can truly say that the PTDJA brought my producer skills at a superior level! The lessons are exciting and full of useful contents, as well as the special contents from the PTDJA prestigious ambassadors. It was an amazing experience, at the end of which I feel myself enriched and improved, with a lot of more confidence and knowledge.
But PTDJA is not just courses, but also a community, lots of activities, special offers, gifts, meetings with the tutors, and everything is super stimulating.
I can only recommend PTDJA for those who want to learn in a right and professional way, as well as becoming part of an amazing community full of opportunities!

As an older student who has come back into music. The PTDJA is one of the best run programmes I have been on. It is no nonsense, they don't promise exaggerated results, just the tools to learn or enhance your craft and skills. The opportunities available from being a member of the campus are top level and more than I thought possible. The guidance is straight forward and you can go at your own pace.
