Peruvian Soul introduced us to Peru in a way we never could have imagined. We didn’t have to worry about time or organizational stress at all, thanks to the incredibly dedicated work of the entire team. We visited the important sites in the Sacred Valley with plenty of historical context; we were able to immerse ourselves in the vibrant traditions of the Peruvian people during the Feast of the Assumption; we learned a lot about wool-dyeing techniques and weaving at various communities (thanks in part to the translation from Quechua to English); we explored the background of Inca history in Cusco through its architecture; but also the shared experience of shopping at the local market followed by cooking (and, of course, eating :o) ) regional dishes was another highlight. We spent most of our time with our guide, Luis, who accompanied us through Cusco and the Sacred Valley with his calm and very knowledgeable manner. We looked forward to his guidance every single morning! He never put any time pressure on us, even when a tour took longer than planned. Our driver, Jorge, who took us to every destination in a wonderfully unhurried, punctual, and safe manner. And he was still in a good mood even after an hour of winding gravel roads. He never attempted any risky passing maneuvers. He always had water and lemon candies on hand, which perked us right up after longer tours.
We were also very lucky with the weather during our visit to Machu Picchu and the hike to the Apurimak River to the condor viewpoint. Eddy guided us through Machu Picchu and knew the process inside and out—buying tickets, purchasing bus tickets, lining up for the bus at the right time, etc. His explanations about the Inca site were very interesting. In the Amazon region, we had the opportunity to enjoy the rich diversity of animals and plants through various short tours led by Oscar. His 15 years of experience and extensive knowledge really impressed us.
All of this was only possible thanks to Clara’s exceptional planning—she responded to all our requests in no time and had just the right tips on hand; she also set up a WhatsApp group where anyone could ask any question at any time (just knowing it was there was helpful—we actually hardly used it at all, since everything was so perfectly organized). I wholeheartedly recommend PeruvianSoul and our guides and driver.

We finally made it to Peru after a trip canceled in 2020 due to Covid. It was a memorable experience from start to finish, from the exquisite food in Lima to the shores of Lake Titicaca, from the history of Arequipa to the unique sight and history of Machu Picchu, from the ancient Caral civilisation to the recent Spanish one. We will never forget it and will keep our travel guides, drivers and organisers high on our list of new friends. Peruvain Soul is a great organisation and made our dream of visiting Peru come true. The organisation was flawless, the team was helpful at all times and the went above and beyond to make it a smooth experience 😊

We had an amazing family trip that showed us many different sides of Peru including cities (Lima, Cusco) and desert landscapes, rainforest and wildlife, history and culture . Everywhere we went the people were extraordinarily nice and the food was always delicious. A special mention goes to the Inca Trail experience culminating in Machu Picchu, led by the wonderful Iza.
We had a packed program with lots of travel and activities in 2 weeks, and all the transitions were managed very smoothly and we never experienced any problems. Really great how the program was designed and executed on the ground.
Would recommend this to anyone.

The Perfect Partner for an Unforgettable Peru Adventure

Our experience with Peruvian Soul was truly exceptional. They helped create an incredible family adventure through Peru, and we could not have asked for a better experience.

From Lima to the Amazon, through the Sacred Valley and on to Machu Picchu and Cusco, every part of our trip was thoughtfully planned. What impressed us most was how seamlessly all of the moving pieces worked together. Transfers, flights, hotels, trains, excursions, meals, and guides were all coordinated so well that we could simply enjoy ourselves and take in everything Peru had to offer.

The itinerary gave us a wonderful balance of iconic experiences and authentic cultural encounters. We explored Lima's historic center and the Larco Museum, experienced the Nazca Lines and the desert, traveled deep into the Amazon, visited the Amaru community, explored Pisac and Ollantaytambo, enjoyed the Sacred Valley, visited Machu Picchu, learned to cook with a local, explored Cusco, and experienced some truly spectacular scenery and wildlife along the way.

The guides were one of the highlights of the entire trip. They were knowledgeable, friendly, patient, flexible, and genuinely seemed to care about making our experience special. They didn't simply show us the sights—they helped us understand the history, culture, people, and traditions behind them.

Peruvian Soul made us feel very well taken care of throughout the entire journey. Even with such a full itinerary, everything felt organized and manageable. Their attention to detail allowed us to relax and enjoy our family vacation instead of worrying about logistics.

We had a great experience working with Peruvian Soul team on this trip. Our tour guides, Juan and Martin were both very good. They were knowledgeable, funny, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. E.g. helping us making frequent breaks to pick up supplies as needed, giving us lot of tourism tips and guiding us to the right food and shopping places. Most importantly, they had a deep sense of Peruvian histroy and helped us to get a really immersive experience.

I would heartily recommend the Peruvian Soul team to anybody looking to have a great experience.

We loved our trip and experience working with Nadia. The suggestions to get to the final itinerary was perfect for our 15 days. They provided details to help us prepare such as tipping guide and clothing for the different weather in each region. The sequence of destinations worked well to get acclimatized. We had guides to pick us up at each transfer point so we didn’t have to worry or waste time sorting it out. Nadia and Jesus also checked in during the trip and were able to help us whenever we had a question.

As for the guides, they were mostly top notch. Although not necessary, Vito (one of our drivers) wiped the dirt from the car every time we came back from a hike. He proactively provided a fresh bottle of water every time, which when you’re in Peru is so precious. His driving was always steady, professional, and he just made all the rides so comfortable. In comparison, we did have one driver that was a bit aggressive and would talk on the phone.

Our guides were all so knowledgeable and were able to share so much about their culture, history.

I would certainly go through Peruvian Soul again if return!

We started planning very early & Jimena was amazing from the very start. She asked about our preferences and curated 2 starting off points. From there we were able to customize the exact activities we wanted. Jimena was incredibly supportive through it all, moving activities around & determining how much was possible each day. Once we got closer to our travel dates Jimena got on a call with us to answer any of our outstanding questions. During this call we asked about adding another activity & although it's a super uncommon option, she made it happen for us! We ended up with issues commuting to our destination & were delayed a full day. Jesus & Jimena were able to rework our itinerary so we didn't miss any of our planned activities even though we arrived a full 24 hours late!

While in Peru, we hit the ground running with Edwar (guide) & Wilmer (driver). Edwar was the PERFECT guide for us. He was honest and straight forward. He kept us on track without us ever feeling rushed, if things were running early or late we never noticed because he was taking care of everything in the shadows. He knew exactly when to call our driver back so the whole time in Cusco was effortless. Edwar even stayed with us all the way to the security check point for our domestic flight, to make sure we had no airport hiccups. I recommend KimKim 11/10 & plan to come back for any future travel like this.

We traveled to Peru as a large group to celebrate a milestone birthday of a very dear friend. We had an amazing guided tour through Peru, Cusco, Sacred Valley, Aguas Calientes and Machu Picchu. Our guides Juan and Martin were a lot of fun, very knowledgeable, and kept everyone informed and well looked after, while Jimena, Jesus from the primary team who were also very friendly and extremely helpful stayed in touch via WhatsApp throughout, making the entire trip smooth and stress-free. There were also a few other helpful van drivers, team members and guides in the Lima area including Mira Flores and Barranco. Highly recommend this tour organized by Peruvian Soul!

This “travel agency” deserves a ZERO star rating for the treatment I’ve received. They took my deposit, went totally silent for weeks, have refused to give me any confirmed itinerary for my trip, claim they have incurred non-refundable “payments” to “partners” but won’t provide any proof of that, refuse to give me a refund and as a “solution” offered me a dirty bus ride across Peru lasting 8 hours. This is not a legitimate travel agency, This is a scam. BEWARE.

We recently completed a fantastic 12-day trip to Peru with Anne Godoy and the team at Peruvian Soul, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The itinerary was perfectly planned and included Lima, the Sacred Valley, the Salkantay Trek, Machu Picchu, and Cusco. Anne took the time to understand our interests and preferences and built a customized trip that exceeded our expectations. Throughout the planning process, Anne was responsive, cooperative, and attentive to every detail. During the trip itself, the entire team was professional, punctual, and always available to assist with any questions or changes. This was our first trip to this side of the world and we had a 9 day tour booked starting and ending in Cusco with 3 nights in the Amazon rainforest.The itinerary and properties booked were very impressive.We were amazed to see the effort and care taken to plan such an extensive trip which covered and introduced us to the history and culture.
Our guide Guido in Cusco made us feel welcome and kept us entertained and on our toes(literally!).His knowledge and pride for his country shone through and kept us curious all throughout.Kudos to him and his wonderful attitude.

This was our first trip using a travel specialist to plan and book the entire experience. We were connected with Peruvian Soul andour rep Anne. Because of Covid and then variouschallenges on our end, this trip was several years in the making. But Peruvian Soul and Anne really delivered. She helped us create an itinerary combining her recommendations and experience along with our research and goals. It was a true collaboration. And then Peruvian Soul really came through on the logistics. During the trip, their operation manager Jesus, provided us with frequent updates as needed. He was available for questions. And he was able to make happen a short notice changes in our itinerary that became necessary. This was our first time trusting someone to take care of travel arrangements other than ourselves, and I was very impressed.
So many highlights but want to mention several that were suggested and/or coordinated by Anne & Peruvian Soul.
- Home visit and Homestay on Capachica Peninsula, Lake Titicaca: We visited two kind, delightful families to get a glimpse into their lifestays, and share several meals, next to Lake Titicaca. We were shown how they use local plants as everything from soap to medicine. We witnessed (and slightly helped) our host Ruffino fishing on Lake Titicaca by hauling in nets. It was a cool opportunity to get a bit of insight into their lives and to simply get to know them a little. We had a very good guide who shared the history of the area and the customs of the people on the penisula.
- El Alberque, Ollantaytambo - in one place we were able to enjoy a Panchamanca lunch; learn about and roast a batch of coffee; and then create our own botanical liquor in their distillery. We had a fun and insightful afternoon.
- Misminay Community, Sacred Valley - We spent several hours in Misminay with were our local hosts showed us about their weaving; demonstrating the process and showing us how they create their colors with plants and minerals. Then we had a short lesson, trying to learn the local language, Quechua. From their compound, we were able to take a short hike to see the Moray terraces.
- Market visit and cooking glass in Cusco - Anne set us up with the restaurant Mama Seledonia to get a educational (and tasting) tour of 2 Cusco markets. From there, we took the purchases back to the restaurant to make our own lunch, cocktails and then to try a variety of fruits we purchased. The chef (Gustavo) was great and it was a wonderful experience.
- Not surprisingly, Cuscuo, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu were trip highlights. But what made it excellent was our guide, Luis. The poor guy was stuck with us for almost 5 days :) He truly made the trip excellent for us. It was more like travelling with a friend than a guide. (But a friend who knew a ton!)

I enthusiastically recommend Peruvian Soul. Anne sincerely created an amazing experience for us and they all (Jesus, our guides and drivers) made it go great. They really took care of us.

We had a great trip planned for us and we loved our tour guide Willy. Very knowledgeable, caring and downright fun! He made us smile and laugh for 9 days and made this a memorable trip for all of us. Highly recommend him, Allen (driver was great too) and Peruvian Soul.

Willy & Allen were wonderful. They were very knowledgeable, informative, fun, energetic, incredibly friendly & helpful when there was a few health issues along the way. I would definitely recommend them and will request them, if I am able to come back to Peru.

Peruvian Soul is all about perfect organization, good time management, experienced and friendly tour guides, flawless communication with the agency, meeting all our requests with perfect service. The proposed hotels in Lima, Sacred Valley, Cuzco were great, Antigua Casona in Cusco- a real gem. The proposed sites were all very interesting, Machu Picchu the most incredible of all. Definitely take two entrances for the Machu Picchu if the weather is foggy to have the chance to see it clearly at least with one of the entries. I would recommend Peruvian Soul to all my friends and definitely will make my next plans with them again. Love for them:)

The entire experience, working with kimkim, has been seamless. Jimena Salazar was ur Travel Curator and really listened to what we we were hoping to experience.
Our guide and driver, Alvaro, helped to customize our Lima and coastal travels, and it added greatly to how much we enjoyed ourselves. Guides that are from the area are proud to share their "home".
Joel, an exceptional driver, and Guido, our local guide picked us up at the airport and transported us into their Peruvian world and culture for 7 days! I consider Guido a friend, clearly passionate about his home and country, as well as incredibly knowledgeable. It was unlike any other tour guide I've had. They were exceptionally flexible, adaptive to the pace our our group and answered all of our questions with humor, insight, and warmth. He knew the people where we stopped which is a reflection to how he does business. He asked for the food we weren't eating to kindly and generously share with the locals. He made suggestions that brought the tour "to life". I'm sincere when I say that it would not have been the same exceptional experience had it not been for Alvaro, Joel and Guido.

Working with Jimena at kimkim, she assigned Guido (our guide) and Odi (our driver) from Peruvian Soul for our Cuzco-Machu Picchu trip to Peru. Wow - what a great experience for us. Guido is one of the most knowledgeable guides we have ever used, and educated us on Inka customs and history as only a local can. He took us to all the wonderful sights in and around Cuzco and educated us on where to find the best cuisine. In Machu Picchu, we spent two days with him and again marveled at his knowledge of the Inka trails and history of this wonder of the world! And of course, Odi drove us safely wherever we went on some very challenging roads! Thanks again to the Peruvian Soul team and kimkim for crafting a memorable itinerary for us to experience Peru. Highly recommended!!!

Our family (2 adults, 2 children - 8 & 10 years old) had an AMAZING two-week trip to Peru in July! Our local specialist, Jimena, understood right from the start the sort of trip our family was looking for and made the planning process extremely easy. She made all of the arrangements for us to see everything we had on our wish list, but also included many stops and sites along the way that we didn't even know about but made the trip all the more special. Upon arrival in Lima, we were greeted by Bosco (at like 2:00 in the morning!) who was exceptionally friendly got us to our hotel and ensured an easy check-in. While we had some free time in Lima, we took a food tour through the Barranco neighborhood that was exceptional. After Bosco got us back to the airport a couple of days later, we were then greeted in Cusco by our private guide Guido and driver, Alan. I cannot say enough good things about these two gentlemen. Guido has been leading tours in the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu for many years, and his deep knowledge and easy manner enriched each of the six days we spent with him. I even ended up needing to go to a clinic one day because of food poisoning and Guido and Alan stayed with me and ensured I got the meds I needed and got back to the hotel, even though it extended their day by a lot. I'm forever grateful them, and our entire time in Cusco/Sacred Valley was so much richer than I expected it to be because of them. After our time in the Cusco area, we headed back to Lima where we met with Bosco again. He traveled with us from Lima to Paracas and while he wasn't leading our tours, it was reassuring to know he was nearby if we needed anything at all. Our tours of the Ballestas Islands, Paracas Nature Reserve, and overflight of Nazca lines were fantastic. I highly, highly recommend any and all parts of this trip to others. It was truly a trip of a lifetime and one that our family will remember forever. Many, many thanks to the entire team who made this happen!
