The head office gets 0
SUMMARY:
Brought a $200 product with a 10 year warranty which to me was a major selling point
Product shit itself after 16 days and 4 or 5 uses not used the first 6 days after purchase either so pretty much 10 days
Long winded return process
Clear I had a date I needed it sorted by as I am shifting and already have stress and things to do.
Head office sent out wrong product worth $90 less and with no new proof of purchase for continued warranty
Missed my cut off date and now in amongst moving I have to send there crap back
Treat me like I'm going to be dishonest and steal there incorrect product by not sending correct item until they receive the incorrect product back at absolutely no fault of mine when I already said I would send it back if they sent a pre paid courier envelope.
LONG REVIEW:
The store in Hamilton 4 star the people were great, friendly comfortable service and knowledgeable staff, and for the following issue first contact for complaint and they dealt with their part well too.
I think the actual store could be a hell of a lot nicer but that's not their fault, nor the issue that’s making me bother to write this.
If you have to deal with their head office however absolutely useless, they should have continued to let the store deal with me because they have lost themselves a customer thanks to their poor service, their own mistakes and then continuing to cause inconvenience after they stuff it up.
Product purchased 6/3 and not used till I returned from holiday 6 days later. First contact about faulty product was made on 23/3 it is now 10/4 and I am still at least 5 days away from having this resolved. Which will be about 23 days to process a warranty return (product has a 10 year warranty) on a product I owned for 16 days (used 4 or 5 times).
After sending faulty product (to the store where purchased) back at my own cost and waiting for them to test it i then had to wait for their head office to approve and process my return, this was a pretty slow process and with the length of time owned vs it's warranty length I was already pretty disappointed and annoyed. Also I stressed the fact I am moving on the 11th and need it sorted before then. The head office wouldn't let the store send my replacement they wanted to do it themselves and then sent out the wrong product worth $90 less than what I paid. And with no receipt for the new warranty.
When I contacted after receiving the wrong item ( Email sent to head office but I called the store where purchased as I wanted some decent service) I said I was fuming and that if they wanted it back they can send me a pre paid return bag WITH THE correct product as I've already paid for one lot of postage and I'm not paying for that too, the response from the store again great however she did say they will deal with it from here and sadly am still dealing with the HO I gave them (the store on the phone) my new address as tomorrow was my cut off day for me to be anywhere near happy, in the response from the head office they do apologise which quite frankly after all this doesn't mean shit, have the cheek to say "to make this right" we will send a return bag and post ur correct item once we receive our product back??? Since I already said if they want it back to send a pre paid return bag do you not think I will?? And quite frankly even if I didn't don't you think you should just suck it up by now, and count it as actually doing something towards "making it right". I considered paying for this incorrect item just to speed up the process but don't want you getting any more of my money. Never ever again will I shop with peaches and cream!!
Please don't hire men in your store unless there is another female. I was conscious enough and the only one in the store. He watched me like a creep yuck, middle aged with an earring.

Really crap (and gross). Was recommended something in the Petone shop that was different from what I was asking for, only to find when I got it home that it had already been opened (yuck). Then when I went to the Cuba St store to replace or refund, I was treated as an inconvenience (an extremely large woman was both rude and unhelpful). 10 working days to refund a faulty product (that should not have been sold in the first place) is unacceptable. No apology for my inconvenience whatsoever. Staff in both stores need customer and hygiene training (badly). I feel revolting from having to deal with both of them. Not going back EVER. Im now going to take a long shower 🤮
