The agent has been pushing hard for me to complete all the paperwork, but unfortunately, the site is still not ready. It seems that Peabody hasn’t been communicating effectively internally, which makes it difficult to get any clear information on when I’ll actually be able to move in.

they set a move-in date and mentioned that if I didn’t move in by then, a fee would be charged. However, they missed that date themselves and have kept postponing it. Despite this, I keep receiving pressure from them to complete everything, while it appears the internal coordination on their end remains unclear.

As a result, I feel like I’ve been left to chase updates from multiple directions, almost like being bounced around with no clear timeline.

As a First time buyer this process was far less stressful than I thought it was going to be! Big thanks to Josh and the team for making it such a smooth and quick process.

Generally had a smooth buying experience, with everything moving quickly (reservation to completion within 3 months). Emerson in particular was really helpful!

My only gripe was that I would have liked more transparency throughout the process, although that mostly falls on my solicitors rather than Peabody.

I am still in the process of purchasing a property from Peabody and will update my review after completion. So far the experience has been positive overall, but it's been a bit of a bumpy ride. Joshua in the Sales Team, who organised my viewings, reservation etc. has been great, very professional, friendly and informative - I was surprised to learn that he's only been with Peabody for a few months - they are luck to have him! Deken in the Sales Progression Team is also great and very responsive, gave me a few proactive calls to see how thing were going. Unfortunately, shortly after I made my reservation, both of them were away, so the whole process stalled for over a week because the same could not be said about other members of the Sales Progression Team. It was almost impossible to establish who I should speak to in their absence, and then to get hold of them over the phone. I'm also still somewhat baffled by the practicalities of sales incentive schemes, but crossing my fingers to get a final response soon.

It’s been over 30days since I emailed originally and spoke to someone at Peabody. It’s probably bordering over 60 days!!
I’m in Urgent need for a management pack and I haven’t even received the payment details yet for me to receive the pack.

My solicitor is desperately chasing me for it and I’m starting to panic as I need everything completed within this month or so.

I know they are busy, but this is beyond disgusting. So many emails I’ve sent and phone calls. Each time I call I have a different person telling me different and escalating the complaint for me. But I’m getting nowhere quick.
It’s causing me stress and I’m trying to get out of an abusive relationship and buy my ex partner out as quick as I can, but Peabody are stalling and I’m living in a nightmare right now!!!

I will not be fobbed off again with the approvals team email address or their contact centre telephone number!!
I will never purchase a Peabody property again!!
