They refuse to delete the payment info
I asked them to delete the payment info from the account, since this can not be done manually by me (which is a big red flag), and they refused. They said that they will delete the payment info at the same time with account deletion, in 30 days.

I paid $1 for a single PDF edit, exactly as advertised. After that, the site uses a one-click trap to charge $39.99 for a subscription nobody realistically needs for one file.
I realised in May that the subscription started on February 2026 where I used one time the PDF Edit!!

I tested this service out a week ago…
I tested this service out a week ago and did not see to cancel it. I got charged and did a chat to get that removed. The agent cancelled the account and is working to get a refund. I am bidding on a contract to do a lot of work needing conversions from PDF to Word and of the services I tried, this was the best so want to use it but can't pay for it till I get the contract.
Agent was helpful and fast. Very good.

That's a scam, you are not wrong.
Wanted to pay $1 for a single PDF edit, exactly as advertised. Instead, the site uses a one-click trap to charge $39.99 for a subscription nobody realistically needs for one file.
Looks like the company is based in Cyprus, which probably explains why they feel comfortable abusing legal loopholes like this.
I contacted support literally within seconds after the payment, politely explaining the situation. Their response? Offering only about half of the money back.
After they offered the ~$20 refund, I wrote another long message calmly explaining the situation again in detail. I never received any response after that. Complete silence.
I still tried to explain calmly that charging someone ~$20+ for ONE PDF edit is absurd. In many countries, $20 is a full day of hard work. Nobody in their right mind expects a simple PDF edit to turn into a subscription scam.
I don’t need anything from you anymore. I already contacted my bank for a dispute and prepared everything for a broader investigation.
Just warning other people: if you fell for this too, you are not stupid. The trap is very real. And at this point, it’s not even about the money anymore.
