Customer service from PayTab was satisfactory and responsive. Ms. May Flor Jalandoni (Sr. Manager Customer Care) from the support team assisted with our request and provided guidance to resolve the issue. She assisted us with the account authentication request and guided us through the process clearly.

Customer support representatives are like 5-year-old kids. We ask a question, and they answer with something different.
Their response takes days, even though it is urgent.
Very rude and unprofessional, affecting our business. I am raising a complaint to the authorities, and leaving them to a better provider.

Our experience with PayTabs Egypt was one of the most frustrating vendor onboarding processes we have ever dealt with.
After weeks of back-and-forth, PayTabs repeatedly introduced new requirements retroactively, including demands for employee contracts, work permits, and professional certifications documents that are legally sensitive and not required by any other licensed payment gateway we work with.
Despite asking multiple times, no clear regulatory basis or Central Bank mandate was provided to justify these requests.
These requirements were never communicated upfront, yet were later positioned as blockers after we had already submitted all agreed documentation.
Based on PayTabs’ assurances, timelines, and claimed compatibility, we invested significant time, effort, and cost (including ERP decisions).
The constant shifting of requirements, vague compliance explanations, and lack of decisiveness resulted in real business disruption.
This was not a technical failure, it was a process, governance, and communication failure.
In contrast, our onboarding with other payment providers was clear, proportionate, and professional.
Unfortunately, due to the inconsistency and insistence on unjustified documentation, we had to terminate the process entirely.
Would not recommend PayTabs to any business that values clarity, predictability, and professional onboarding.

I just subscribed with them and they sent me an email with impossible demands. First, the subscription fee is $500. Second, there are many documents that must be collected. Third, there are about four forms that must be filled out and certified by the relevant authorities. The procedures are more complicated than the procedures for applying for a Schengen visa. They think they are the only ones in the market. It is better to stay away from them until they change this oppressive policy.

Generally, it works. Value for money.
But If don't God may help you.
As they don't have any helpdesk.
Just bunch of guys responding on emails whenever they feel like.
Response again says the same thing "send email". Do you have any helpdesk. Do you reach out to customer if thier payments are down!

We have contacted customer service multiple times regarding the payout request, yet we have not received any response. It’s clear that no one has taken any meaningful steps to resolve the issue, which is completely unacceptable.

Absolutely terrible experience with Paytabs. They blocked my account without any warning or valid reason, even though everything was fully verified and in order. I had funds in the account that I couldn't access, and support was completely unhelpful, just vague responses with no real explanation. This feels like a scam payment method. Save yourself the headache and go with a more reliable service.

These guys are the worst. They will suddenly stop your payouts without giving you any reason and then they will start asking you random questions about your business in the name of compliance. I don't understand why they first approved the business if they have so many questions left to ask after the business started receiving payments. Do not go for them. They are not legit. They are a bunch of scammers running a small office in a building in Dubai. Save your money save your business, they are a worst nightmare for any business.

By far the worst customer support. They lack the skills to identify issues and just have a copy paste answer. Billing wasnt working for a week and it is still unresolved as i write this review.

I had a very disappointing experience with PayTabs. First, they have a hidden $265 fee that you only discover right before submitting your application. Charging such a high amount just to get a merchant account is unreasonable, especially when competitors like MyFatoorah—number one in the UAE and GCC—don’t charge anything for the same process.
After submitting my application, I was contacted by their merchant acquisition and onboarding team, but they asked for a lot of unnecessary documents. This made the process overly complicated, and I decided not to proceed. When I requested an immediate refund, I was told it would take 5 to 10 days. As a business owner, I know refunds shouldn’t take that long—it takes me less than a minute to refund my own customers.
Now, it has been 13 days, and I still haven’t received my money back. Today, I received an email saying they couldn’t process my refund because I paid using my Georgian bank account. This is absolutely ridiculous and something I’ve never encountered before. I’m left feeling scammed and incredibly frustrated.
I would not recommend PayTabs based on my experience. Hidden fees, excessive documentation, and delayed refunds are not acceptable for a company handling business payments.
