Booked with pass in days
Booked with pass in days, driving instructor I received was Paul Hunter from PHD-riving. I passed first time due to Paul he was excellent, made me feel at ease, he was so knowledgeable and had great patience and was so very supportive. I would highly recommend Paul to anyone wanting to learn to drive, no matter your aga, I am over 50 never too late

1st time pass 🚗
Passindays found me a driving test close to my course completion date as promised. Everything went smooth from payment to assign me a driving instructor. Communication is excellent! I recommend Adrian’s company to everyone who is thinking to take an intense course in the future.
My driving instructor was absolutely lovely, patient, supportive, helpful and very professional. Thanks to her years of experience and knowledge she shared with me I’ve passed my test on 1st attempt, I am deeply grateful I had her my driving instructor, I will definitely miss my lessons :)

20 hours course
The 20 hours course was great as we had 'taught' our daughter for 6 months but this course enhanced her learning & tightened everything up prior to her test. Passed first time, couldn't be happier ☺️

7 Day Course
I booked a 7 day course through Pass In Days, and from start to finish the process was really smooth. The communication from Pass In Days was excellent, and they managed to get me a driving test in Bristol 3 days after my course. They assigned me to Kerry, who was a great instructor. Kerry put me at ease throughout the whole course, was very easy to talk to, kept me calm and answered any questions I had in lots of detail. I passed first time with 0 minors and am really glad I did the course, rather than individual lessons.

Intensive course (30hrs)
Doing the intense course (30hrs) was the best decision as it kept me focused on the end result. Be prepared for the longer days though as the learning is harder than the actual test. My instructor Maxine was unbelievable and helped greatly. Passed first time too

The service that this company provides is false
My son had payed for a 10 day intensive course for 2 weeks he had booked off time for work. Expecting to complete the course within 2 weeks. However that was not the case it ended up taking 9 weeks to complete and he ended up failing his first test due to the amount that his instructor messed him around. The organisation of the lessons were terrible as the instructor didn’t even try to contact us about when he was next free to do lessons. Overall we are very dissatisfied and found the competed let us down.

I’m sorry to hear that Ben’s experience wasn’t what you expected. I’d like to provide some context around what happened and the steps we took to try and support him through the course.
Ben booked his course in March for a start date of the 20th of May. Upon booking, we sent him all the course instructions, study materials for his theory test, and advised him to book the theory test promptly. We also asked him to complete our driving test request form as soon as he passed his theory test. Ben completed this form on the 13th of May, just a week before his course was due to begin.
At that point, we made him aware that there is a 5-6 month wait for driving tests in Exeter. We give all our clients two options: either request a test to be scheduled immediately after the course (within a week or two) or start lessons, see how they progress, and then decide on a suitable test date. The first option carries some risk, as candidates may not be ready in such a short timeframe. The second option offers more flexibility and allows for a more tailored approach based on the learner’s progress.
Ben chose to request a test right after his course, which added extra pressure to his learning journey. At Pass in Days, we believe in giving our clients control over these decisions, and while we can advise, the final choice is up to them. We immediately passed his request to our team, who worked hard to find him a test date. Despite the 5-6 month average wait time, we managed to book his test for the 7th of June – just one week after his course completion date. Given the circumstances and timelines, this was an excellent result.
Regarding the lessons, our website makes it clear that intensive courses are challenging and require a lot of commitment. Our main role is to ensure that our clients have access to a skilled instructor and a faster driving test date, both of which we provided. However, as you mentioned, Ben struggled with the intensive format. We reached out to his instructor to get a full picture of what happened.
The instructor reported that Ben found the learning process stressful and had difficulty keeping up with the pace. By the end of the first week, it became apparent that he might not be ready for the test. On several occasions, Ben requested breaks to unwind, indicating that he was finding the process quite challenging.
In response to this, the instructor decided to move Ben’s test date to allow for a more relaxed and slower approach, which Ben fully agreed to. The new test date fell in July, still much sooner than the average 5-6 month waiting period. After confirming this new test date, the instructor scheduled the remaining lessons around Ben's work and college commitments.
Ben took his test in July but unfortunately failed. After the test, he found a new test date for September and requested further driving lessons. The instructor agreed and booked 4 additional hours plus the 2-hour test appointment in his diary. An invoice was sent to confirm the booking, but unfortunately, it was not paid, and there was no follow-up from Ben.
From our perspective, we completed what was outlined in our contract: we assigned an experienced instructor and secured a test date far sooner than the standard wait time. When it became clear that the intensive course format was not suitable for Ben, the instructor adjusted the plan, going the extra mile to provide more time and support. Securing that second test date also took considerable effort and was not billed to you as a goodwill gesture.
I understand that this has been a frustrating experience, and I genuinely wish it had gone smoother for Ben. We take feedback seriously and will use this to improve our communication and support for future clients.

Two sons, two passes
Two sons, two years apart passed their tests with Pass in Days.
Son 1 wanted exams out of the way before thinking about driving but he wanted to be able to drive that summer. He took a two week course with Alex and passed first time.
Son 2 took weekly lessons with another company as soon as he could while he was still at school, but he failed multiple times. He paused driving for exams and a summer break but then took a week's course with Greg in the first week of September. He had a test a couple of weeks later and passed - with zero minors!
The instructors my sons had instilled them with calm and confidence and, with 4 hour lessons each day, took them on longer drives and exposed them to a variety of driving situations. Test preparation was thorough and showed in the results.

Very easy process to book my course. Pass In Days booked me a test just a few days after my course had finished so I didn’t need to wait months for a practical test.
They paired me with an excellent instructor who helped me pass my test straight away.

Amazing experience with Paul
Amazing learning experience with Paul. I done the 20 hour intensive course and he made me feel so comfortable and at ease. I've passed first time with only one minor and can't thank him enough! Would recommend to anyone!
