Paid for parking & have received parking ticket stating I didn’t pay 3 weeks ago which i have sent proof on 2 appeals and both refused, Hotel have no record of me staying there although i paid for room, dinner and drinks and parking on my card. They only keep records for 2 weeks ago. I think a scam between hotel and parking company

such awful customer service tonight, express free 20 Min car Park closed, so was forced to go in other one, £6 for 2 min and guy said "its my problem" even though it was closed!!!! Disgraceful service

Only taxi after midnight..is the only option after midnight arrival.. 💩

It's really sad. As the Airport is decent. Not packed and flows well through security.
Now the RIP off bit.

DROP OFF
This is the biggest rip off be careful stopping on the red lines as you will get a ticket. the free Drop off positioned around 8 minute walk so for elderly pensioners etc it's a non starter.
£5 drop off charge is a disgrace and really lets the airport down. I am literally 1 minute dropping a elderly friend off and have to pay £5.

I wish the council would step in and stop this as it's letting the airport down. No one is asking to be sat for hours but dropping people off for 1-2 Minute should not be charged at extortionate prices.

Shame on JLA for this thieving from people who use the airport regularly. soon it will be upto £10 no doubt.

Silly guy from Borderforce refused me entry when he thought my passport had expired in January (bare in mind I had just flown from Turkey and was let through without any issues). I tried to explain to show him the date he had read was my birthday but he rudely said ‘don’t argue with me, I’m a professional’. He took my passport and went to discuss with another colleague before coming back over and letting me through. An apology would suffice. Manchester airport provides far better service. Don’t fly with these clowns!

Ps if you’re being dropped off or collected - always ask for drop off 2. It’s a 7-8 minute walk to the front of the airport. It’s free for 40 minutes.

Ripping off people with there parking charges it’s a disgrace but what do they care it’s all about money grabbing,the service isn’t any better only mismanaged by the incompetent so called chiefs,I hate the place,despise going there

John Lennon airport Parking scam: Don’t stop outside airport for even a few seconds or a roving video parking enforcement vehicle will lead to a £100 (reduced to £60 if paid quickly). Airport uses double red lines and a private parking company to avoid congestion and keep emergency vehicle access routes open which is fine. However much too widely and harshly enforced, no warnings despite video van staffed all the time, fines even when drivers still in cars and not parked, zero tolerance. Only alternative is massively overpriced paid airport parking. Legalised daylight robbery.

I always find the staff in the LJLA Aspire Lounge welcoming and helpful. This morning on Christmas Eve was no different, there were 3 members of staff Jackie, Jan & Elaine delivering excellent customer experience, tasty food & drinks and keeping the lounge space well presented, thank you everyone & Happy Christmas

Arrived to pick my daughter up who flew in from Dublin. I parked in the pick up car park that charges you £10 for up to 20 mins stay. Unfortunately she was 20 minutes getting off her plane so by the time she got to the car I’d been there for 30 minutes and got charged a whopping £25 !!!!!!! I’m absolutely appalled that they can charge you extortionate rates for such a short timescale

I travel regularly and usually from Manchester. Passing through security this morning at Liverpool Airport was chaotic and the staff were rude and unhelpful. In particular, there were lots of Polish travellers, many with limited or no understanding of English. Several of the staff were impatient and completely unhelpful in assisting them though the security process. In comparison to Manchester, the whole security process was very badly organised. In future I will stick to flying out of Manchester.

Having been rushed thru security, when it was very busy I failed to pick up my media tablet, I only realised when I got to my destination. Taking nearly a week to find it, they did. I was told the charge would be £25 for me to collect it, payable only in cash. I complained about the 2 issues, the charge and how it could be paid. I recieved another email in reply saying I could now pay by any card. I went the next day at some expense and was told the card machine isn't working. I asked for a proper VAT receipt but they could only give me a handwritten note without vat number etc. What is happening with this company ?

Arrived back from Palma and as I am a special assistance customer I ordered an Ambilift lift off facility at the Airport. Normally this works perfectly but the Truck had been in for maintenance and so the mechanism allowing the passenger lift to lower with 9/10 people on board wouldn’t work!!! The security Bolt on the operator exit and entry door stuck in locked position.
Potentially 9/10 disabled elderly people stuck up in the air for over an hour could have been a real problem, the fact that the EasyJet plane we had all got off had now been locked up and put to bed till next it was needed was even more cheery as this was our only other escape route. But what an amazing sharp special assistance ground crew at Liverpool. They came up with a solution from the ground, kept us informed, and kept everyone happy and calm.
I stupidly left my wallet in the plane seat in front. 🙄. We were lowered to the ground, all provided with wheelchairs and handlers and I was informed a very nice Airport ground crew lady had my wallet all safe.
This team at Liverpool are amazing, always happy, always helpful. I travel a lot and they are without doubt the best I’ve experienced. Can’t wait to fly from Liverpool again. Thanks All of you.

I had a specific query regarding charges for parking .

I sent the emails early August. It is now mid November.

Marvellous! Drop off used three times, now, including today. Well signed, clise to terminal, and £5 for ten minutes. The least expensive airport that I have used. Long stay booked, signed well, and three minutes flat walk to terminal

Sorry, I want to give a zero but can't. Anyway, £25 parking upto 1 hour and £50 for 1 hour and 1 minute. NOT JOKING. And you have to use these extortionate facilities because just outside the parking areas the roads are self-designated red areas with £100 fine. Horrendous. They know you don't have a choice so they rob you.

We just flew as a family from Liverpool to Rome and i must say as a avid traveler this is one of the best if not the best airport experience i have had. Check in quick and easy, no queues for security and the entire atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable, well done liverpool

This is the best ran airport in the country and I fly regularly! The only thing that needs improvement is cleanliness and most airports give free plastic bags at security

This is a great airport to fly from in terms of its relatively small and so queue times are fairly short. However facilities are poor and the charging for every thing possible is horrendous. Drop off £4, plastic bag ( fortunately we had already put liquids in one) £1 - free at Manchester and every other airport. Frankie and Bennies shut at 3.30pm and limited facilities to get a decent meal.

Worse by far was the fact my husband accidentally left his lap top at the airport on our outbound flight. We traced it and knew it was at the airport. He emailed several times and dot no response whatsoever. We continued to trace during the week we were away and it was showing as being at the front of the airport. On landing we went to the lost property area to pick it up. Yes they had it but there is a charge of £25 to return your property to you! Absolutely scandalous- a charge of £25 to give back to you what is yours. Whole charging experience left a sour taste and we will book Manchester going forward.

We love Liverpool airport, in particular the friendly and helpful staff, but we’re sorry to have say that some areas are so dirty that they’re a health hazard.

My son took his nine month old baby daughter to the baby changing toilets last Thursday. The area was a disgrace… filthy surfaces, overflowing bins of dirty nappies etc

While Manchester is receiving constant criticism, Liverpool should be using the opportunity to raise its profile, not letting itself down by poor attention to basic standards of hygiene.

Went to pick up a friend today at this airport. We checked the flight before we left and on arrival a mile before you are warned not to stop or face a fine of £100 you are then filtered to two lanes, one for pick costing you £4 and one for multi storey car park £6 you have no choice once you have committed yourself beyond that mile. there are no signs regarding parking fees. The flight was delayed by 1 hour so we had no choice but to drive into the multi storey car park that was charging extortionate amounts for parking which we were not willing to pay. It cost us £6 to get out. This is daylight robbery at its best. How the hell the CEO sleeps at night I will never know. Steer clear of this damn airport. There should be a governing body that deals with scammers like this. I will never ever use this airport again. And I advise others to stay clear.
