Mooi, fijn groot huis. De receptie was erg behulpzaam en oplossingsgericht om mee te denken ivm vader die minder valide is. Ruim opgezet park, prima faciliteiten.

Een onvergetelijk familieweekend bij Maasresidence Thorn!
Voor de 90ste verjaardag van (o)pa verbleven wij met de hele familie een lang weekend bij Maasresidence Thorn, en wat was het fantastisch! Vanaf het eerste contact werd er echt met ons meegedacht. Bij de boeking werd meteen geregeld dat we twee watervilla’s naast elkaar kregen, pal aan het water, een prachtige plek.
Extra fijn was dat de villa’s volledig omheind waren, waardoor onze honden vrij konden genieten. Ook werd er gezorgd voor een rolstoel en konden we een barbecue huren, alles tot in de puntjes geregeld. Wat we enorm waardeerden, was de haal- en brengservice voor mijn ouders die minder goed ter been zijn. Zo konden ook zij onbezorgd meegenieten.
Dankzij de geweldige service en de prachtige locatie hebben we een onvergetelijk weekend beleefd. Team Maasresidence Thorn: heel hartelijk bedankt! We komen graag nog eens terug!

Wat mis ik jullie het park de omgeving het personeel . Het voelde altijd als thuis komen en welkom. Ik beveel iedereen jullie park aan altijd genoten . Ik kom terug weet ik zeker . Nooit meegemaakt zo geweldig en gemis iedere dag weer . Maar helaas sinds lange tijd niet meer geweest wegens omstandigheden . Maar weet zeker ik kom zeker nog terug 🥰🙏

We hebben genoten. We verbleven met z'n tweeen en onze hond in een appartement. Het appartement was mooi ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Vaatwasser, wasmachine, waterkoker, koffieapparaat handdoeken, etc. Zelfs een terras heater, waardoor we de hele avond buiten hebben kunnen zitten. Uitzicht was geweldig. Omgeving is mooi, we hebben veel gewandeld. Enige puntje van verbetering is de douche, met name de douchekop (een regendouche had het helemaal afgemaakt). Al met al zeker een aanrader!

Bei der Buchung wurde angegeben, dass jedes Haus eine Wallbox habe. Bei der Ankunft stellten wir fest, dass unser Haus und andere keine Box haben. Uns wurde ein anderes Haus genannt wo wir aufladen könnten. Jedoch stoppen die Ladevorgänge nach einigen Minuten und starten neu, bis die Box auf Störung schaltet. Kein Wunder 5* 1,5 mm2 ist halt viel zu klein. Auch die Raumlüftung ist Müll. Wenn sie einschaltet dann nur für 5- 10 Minuten, dann ist 2-3 Stunden Pause. Somit keine Abkühlung. In den Zimmern gibt es nur ein Regal und keinen Schrank. Für den Preis ??.
Ansonsten ist es OK.

The service and kindness of the personnel was excellent. We enjoyed our stay. The rentals of boats and other essentials were prompt and very correct. Sjordy was very kind and helpful.
Only point of attention is the wifi that was very weak and the airco seems to work badly. We were in house nr 92.
Thanks and till next time. We came from Curacao and spent those day together with the family💪

Wij hebben begin juni 2024 verbleven in 1 van de welness woningen op het Park Maasrecidence Thorn. Het was echt geweldig, een mooie grote tuin een goede kwaliteit woning en een heerlijk park ook de omgeving is erg leuk voor uitstapjes te maken. De Kamado BBQ was ook super we hebben elke dag geBBQed. Kortom een perfecte vakantie :)

Mooie moderne huisjes. Prachtig uitzicht over het water als je wakker wordt. Zeer vriendelijk personeel dat met je meedenkt. Van te voren krijg je alle informatie die je nodig hebt toegestuurd. Een echte aanrader.

Jammer en bizar irritant was het dat er 2 dagen gras gemaaid is bij en naast ons huis met een motermaaier

It was my first time in Netherlands and I had such a lovely time at the Maasresidence Thorn

My friends and I had a wonderful time here. The villas are clean and have everything we needed.
I can’t wait to come back to visit.

1) Booking: website is quite easy to understand. During booking process you can add a remark, which I did: "if possible hotelroom not on top floor due to high temperatures". Booking confirmation came instantly and a few seconds later the confirmation that my room would be on top floor, but could be changed to lower floor with additional costs of € 52,- by an added link in communication. Next day I was contacted by phone if I wanted to change to lower floor against payment. Upselling is normal in tourism, but this was the most unprofessional way ever seen.
2) Check-in: a link to open the gate was forwarded by phone and the night receptionist handed out the key card and explained how to get to the hotel building. Identity check was done upon MY request. Don't they care whom they are hosting???
3) Room: very comfortable, clean, lot of space, nice view and modern design
4) Cooling system in the room wasn’t working. This is probably a central operated system, which wasn’t turned on, to save costs.
5) Breakfast (at Humphrey's): price €19,50 p.p. for a breakfastbuffet with scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, etc. according the website. A staff member welcomed me in the restaurant, checked my room nr. and showed me the direction to the buffet. The buffet was very basic for the price, fresh fruit and eggs not available. Eggs couldn't be provided due to technical issues in the kitchen. After my complaint a baked egg was served within 15 minutes! Staff started shift 20 minutes before I arrived and is not up to date about technical issues and missing food on buffet.
6) MRT Shop & Bakery: a lot on offer, friendly staff, quick service and decent prices
7) Humphrey's: time to enjoy sunset on the terrace as recommended on the website, so I ordered a non-alcoholic beer which was served straight away on room temperature! On my request for an ashtray a dirty one was put on the table.
8) Environment: at the building entrance there is an ashtray but no place to sit. On the boulevard along the water there are places to sit, but no ashtrays...(therefore cigarettes on the ground)
9) Atmosphere: during the day and in the evenings it always felt like living in an open air museum. No flowers, grassfields that turned into straw due to lack of water. Two days in a row the gardener decided to start early mowing the grass, at 08.30 am which continued for hours. Nice for all guests enjoying breakfast on their balconies, but not being able to understand their own words because of the noice of the mowing machine.
10) Dog friendly: it was nice to see al those guests with big dogs walking around carriying a plastic bag, to clean up after their dog. The small dog owners probably thought differently, as small dog poop piles where along the promenade for several days. A dog friendly accommodation should at least pay attention and take care of the cleaning
11) Feedback: the first impression doesn’t have a second chance and when I think of your unprofessional upselling method, I still get so furious.
12) Complaint handling: when I mentioned my issues of complaint to the reception and Humphrey's staff the common answer was the lack of staff and that the resort opened shortly: one year ago. Shortage of staff is no excuse as guests shouldn't even get aware of internal problems and an accommodation that opened 1 year ago, had 365 days time to discover, improve and monitor shortcomings in service.
And no, my expectations are not to high as I worked in various destinations and hotels as trainer and quality manager for an international touroperator for 30 years, so I know what to expect from a hotel/resorts. Please be so kind and do not take my above mentioned shortcomings personally, but use it as
feedback and advice for improvement, so your future guests do enjoy an excellent stay at Parc Maasresidence Thorn and become loyal repeat guests. I wish the whole staff a successfull summer season! With kind regards, Monique Meens

Mooi park, vriendelijk personeel, huisjes zijn netjes en schoon en perfect aangesloten op speeltuintjes waar de kinderen kunnen spelen!

Wat een oplichters!!!
Kijk woensdagavond op de site voor een bungalow in de voorjaarsvakantie. De bungalows zien er mooi uit en daar hangt dan ook een prijskaartje aan. Dus even overleggen met het reisgezelschap. Donderdag avond weer naar de site om te boeken, kom ik erachter dat de prijs met 300 euro gestegen is.
Toch maar vrijdag even bellen,na iemand gesproken te hebben die mij leek te begrijpen doorverbonden naar t hoofdkantoor. Hier gaven ze aan dat ze er niets aan doen. Het is vraag en aanbod. Dus advies was om elke dag te kijken of de prijs lager is. Of een ander type bungalow die wel goedkoper is.
Nou wat denken ze zelf, niet boeken dus!!!. Wel zouden ze t doorgeven aan t management. Ze zijn nog geen jaar open. Als ze zo doorgaan blijven ze ook geen jaar langer open gok ik.
