I previously wrote a review regarding a disturbing comment I saw on Rob Radford’s personal Facebook page, in which he stated that the death of migrant children was “the best news he’d heard all year.” This prompted me to visit his page, and I was shocked to see such vile remarks coming from someone who owns a public-facing business.
In his response, Rob has denied making this comment. I want to be clear that I have no reason to fabricate anything about this individual, as I do not personally know him or his business. However, as someone who interacts with the public across all races and backgrounds, it is essential to exercise compassion and professionalism, both online and offline.
Regardless of the identity of the victims, they were human beings. If such a comment reflects your true feelings, you should at least take responsibility for your words rather than deny them when confronted. Accountability and empathy are the bare minimum we should expect from anyone representing a business.

Update:
I am unable to post screenshot evidence here; however, on Tuesday, 3rd February 2026, a derogatory comment was made on the Daily Mail Facebook post regarding migrants dying on boats due to a storm from a Facebook page under the name of Rob Radford. This prompted me to check who behind the comment. This is where I discovered that Rob Radford is listed as the Director of this company in his Facebook bio.
Mr. Radford, if you believe that the Facebook page where you posted your daughter’s 22nd birthday on 2nd December is not your genuine page, and that such vile comment was not made by you, I suggest locating the person who may have cloned your page and get it rectified. Please refrain from issuing empty threats to me for calling a spade a spade. I have screenshots of both your comment and your Facebook page for future reference.
Next time be mindful that your activities on social media comes with consequences especially as a business person. Have some empathy.

A Warning to All – Disappointing Experience with Paradigm Security Solutions
I recently completed a Security Top-Up course with Paradigm Security Solutions, based at Sandford Industrial Estate in Shropshire. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing, and I feel it’s only fair to share my account so that others can make informed decisions before committing their time or money.
Training Quality and Delivery
From the outset, the course felt rushed and poorly delivered. The tutors appeared more focused on getting through the material as quickly as possible than ensuring learners had a solid understanding of the content. Sections were skimmed over with minimal explanation, and there was very little opportunity for discussion, clarification, or practical engagement.
For a professional qualification that’s meant to refresh and reinforce crucial skills in the security industry, the overall standard was far below expectations. In all honesty, I felt I could have received the same level of engagement at a basic first aid or induction course — it simply did not reflect the professionalism our industry demands.
Questionable Follow-Up Course
After completing the top-up training, I was invited to attend a follow-up session described as a “Media Back Watch Security Course.” However, no clear details were provided about what this course entailed, whether it was accredited, or how it was relevant to actual employment opportunities.
In my view, it appeared to be a made-up or unrecognised course, seemingly designed to upsell additional training without proven value or purpose. I would strongly advise anyone approached about such courses to do their research before committing.
Concerns About the Company’s Stability
During and after my time there, I heard increasing speculation that Paradigm Security Solutions may be leaving the Sandford Industrial Estate. Conversations among trainees and information visible online suggested that the company was being asked to vacate the premises. Whether those rumours are entirely accurate or not, it’s clear that there’s a degree of instability around the business that prospective students should be aware of.
Poor Accommodation and Facilities
In addition to the disappointing training, the accommodation provided was far below acceptable standards. Rooms were cold, unclean, and poorly maintained, and the overall environment felt uncomfortable and unhygienic. The facilities were basic to the point of being unsuitable for professional delegates, and at times I was genuinely concerned about food hygiene and cleanliness.
For a company advertising professional security training, the living conditions offered to learners were completely inconsistent with what anyone should reasonably expect.
Final Thoughts and Advice
I share this as a genuine warning to others who may be considering training with this provider. Please, do your research carefully before handing over your hard-earned money.
• Check that any course is fully accredited and recognised by the SIA or relevant awarding body.
• Verify that the company is operating from stable, legitimate premises.
• Be cautious of promises of guaranteed work or exclusive job opportunities — in my experience, these claims did not materialise.
This has been an expensive and disappointing lesson, but if my experience helps others avoid the same situation, then sharing it will have served a purpose. The security industry relies on high standards, integrity, and professionalism — and training providers should reflect those values.

What a brilliant course this was, very professional. The setup here is absolutely great made to feel at home and everyone is very much approachable for anything you need. The way they teach you is all very realistic to the job you will be doing, they will teach you that you will make mistakes on the course and that’s part of how you learn and take everything in properly. Completed my first person on scene and the level of instruction is first class you can tell that Rob has a genuinely thorough knowledge which is from real experience first hand not learnt he has actually been and done things most of us will never be able to do but he he keen to impart his knowledge on his students he teaches in a way that every one can learn and is a very professional person as well I honestly would book on a course in the future and will be that is for sure currently on my CP course and looking forward to learning from the best that you can get 100% the best service provider full stop say know more I would recommend to friends if they were wanting to get into the industry with a shadow of doubt as he was highly recommended by a friend who did the same course as I'm doing can't say any better than that proof is in the pudding.

Just attended the Top up course, great instruction from Andy Stagg, thorough, knowledgeable with a great instruction.
