Terrible customer service, user experience on the site is clunky and frustrating. Coins model is expensive/greedy. I look forward to a competitor offering a better service for less money in the near future. This site has 12-18 months before it becomes obsolete.

It's not effective. Greedy pricing model. They nickel and dime you for each and every feature - obviously profit first and customer experience a distant last. Do not recommend!

Awful. We used it for a large event and I echo the sentiments of other reviewers who gave low ratings. Bait and switch pricing, glitchy, many guests didn’t receive their invitations but the backend showed that it had been opened. I’ll never use it again.

Terrible UI. Don't waste your time of money.

Awful. I have used this company in the past to send invitations and it was fine. I was absolutely shocked that now they want you to spend $30+ to send 10 invites. I could get invitations printed for that price, so I decided to upload my own graphic and use that to send. After going through the effort of uploading; I realized they still want you to spend $30+ to use their service. I texted it out instead. I understand and can appreciate paying for a software service, and was willing to - but this wasn’t even remotely reasonably priced. I won’t bother again, such a waste of time and such a shame it was a good service.

We echo the other comments about this company being a bait and switch to get at least $12 out of you, even if you're sending only 1-2 cards. However, our bigger issue is that when you edit a card, it DOES NOT mean you can send out multiple thank you note versions to multiple recipients like you would expect. We ended up sending out 6 cards, and later learned that each time we edited and sent out a new one, ALL 6 cards were immediately updated, so every one of our guests received the most recent thank you note (essentially, they all got person #6's note). This was incredibly embarrassing obviously and when we brought it to the attention of Paperless Post, they had the nerve to refund us 1 (!) card only, when they had essentially ruined 6 of them. We will never use this company again!

I filtered “free” evites. After hours of getting the invitation just right and entering all the contacts…. They needed a minimum of $12 from me to send them out. Total bait and switch, and that is the biggest complaint online about this company. If you are looking for some quick, free evites, go elsewhere.

Just wanted to send thank you cards. I was happy with the card but kept asking me about events and blocks which was not required and could not get passed this. There was no event just a thank you card.
Got frustrated and went elsewhere.

1st, my invites were in a holding pattern and not going out. 2nd, Some of my invites wouldn't open. 3rd, I asked someone who hadn't opened their invitation because there was confusion regarding how many guest they could bring and 4th, found out that the rsvp date was closed in spite of the fact that I set it to close on Nov. 24th. I spent a lot of money for this service when I should have opted to send invites by text myself and saved myself some money. Also, I findthat the app is not user-friendly. You have to send the invite and then go back and adjust the number of guest once its been sent. However, I was able to fix the rsvp date myself but only after having search around a lot to find the edit.
No wonder they don't do refunds!

What a nightmare. Don’t be fooled by the cute graphics — using their system feels like trying to decipher ancient hieroglyphics. Every step is clunky and unintuitive... whole system feels like 2008. Partiful is the future.

I am a first time user of Electronic Invitations platforms. I needed a company that also tracks RSVPs & provides questions. My event is a Rehearsal Dinner. In the beginning, I needed to have strong support. I scheduled a call with their support staff. They were kind, knowledgeable & willing to schedule additional calls if needed. As I moved through the process, I would reach out with various questions via email. Again, the support was quick and knowledgeable about their product. Please remember this company is different than others as it affords users to track RSVPs & Ask Invitees questions...Like Meal selections. I am very impressed with the company and their support staff. Thank you!

Simple to use but I was immediately spam-bombed with emails from scam websites. Since I use a dedicated email for things like this I could tell it was from using their site. Never will touch them again.

I have to feedback that this is my last time to use Paperless. I am an event planner and have used your platform for creating bespoke invites. I have never had to pay over 200% more for exact same service and number of invites since I started creating invites with this platform, event very recently. The changes being carried out are anti-customer. I paid £52 very recently and now my RSVPs are restricted despite already paying £230 for exact same service! The introduction of paying 8 coins per rsvp received as well as restricting RSVPs is literally extremely forceful and unfair to clients who have signed up but now stuck with an unfair billing system. Will certainly not be returning. The Pro Plus attributes we used are only 2 out of  15 attributes!! This is highly unfair and Paperless has certainly and sadly lost it's magical touch and I won't be returning. Very sad indeed!

I was aware this is not a free service. They do have good designs and it's fairly easy to put it all together, HOWEVER, many of my invitees did not receive their invites or the email landed in their Junk mail. I did have to then spend a lot of time resending invites etc. If you are looking to save time and money, this is definitely not the site to use. Unfortunate as they do have some lovely designs. Go the old fashioned way!!!

Horrid. Easy to create invite with templates, but the actual execution is a nightmare. I ended up having to text each person individually (that was the solution customer service gave me). They said my texted invite would go out via PP but sent from different phone #s. None of my guests received it. The RSVP list doesn't show complete guest list. They keep saying I have to purchase "coins" even though i bought more than enough ($28) to send 13 invites which had to be sent manually with a link! I am shocked at how horrible the website and App is. Avoid at all cost. I have used Evites several times before and it is much easier and it actually executes what it says it does.

Decided to use paperless post for some wedding and bridal shower invites to try to save money - I was wrong.

It is very easy to design invites, but what is not clear is the cost until you’re ready to send the invites out to people. I was quite shocked at the fact you can’t purchase the amount of ‘coins’ needed just for your event, you have to purchase a set amount (I.e., 25, 50, 500) coins AND the price can’t be converted into currency other than USD. I now have coins that I won’t use again that I can’t get back. I have had at the worst time trying to coordinate who has and hasn’t received the invites, with a majority of people not getting the invite or it winding up in their spam and junk boxes. The RSVP on the website is terrible to use and there is no way to message individual people to remind them to RSVP, and who even knows if they’ll receive that message. Will not be using this site again and please avoid at all costs.

After trying 2 other websites that offered "free" invitation mailers, I ended up using Paperlesspost, but not without grinding my teeth. I tried a bunch of things that were not free until I found one option for flyer design that did not ask for money.
I had prepared various versions of my invite list, with email addresses and phone numbers mixed as it suggests to be ok from the "add guest" feature, but one can only use email addresses if one wants to upload a list.
I truly wish that ChatGPT et al. would take advantage of user reviews more effectively.

It was easy to create a beautiful invite but sending it is a nightmare. I paid what it told me to and then it asked for more. I am not even sure what I was paying for. I can't tell if invites were actually sent. I ended up giving up and going with a simpler, free option that's not as fancy but sufficient. So disappointed.

I hate this website. It always tricks you into a free design, then after you've put in a fair amount of work, suddenly you need to spend $50+ to send your flyer. It uses dark patterns to encourage users to spend money. It isn't until you're deep into the design process that you realize the design you carefully created will cost money to download or send--often above and beyond what you budgeted.

Ridiculous website. Wish I'd read the reviews first before I spent hours creating an invite, after which it tried to charge me an exorbitant amount to send via email! It's actually cheaper to print invites and send them by pos and will will cost zero to just send an email myself, simply with the invite at the bottom. What a scam.
