The whole process from start to end was fairly easy. Jeremiah made the paperwork straightforward and simple to follow and the attention to customer was adequate.
Small minor issues with admin and vehicle handoff on the day but all in all was a stress free experience. Recommended.

AVOID THIS GARAGE AT ALL COSTS!!
Purchased a new car from them less than 2 months ago and it’s been constantly in and out of the garage with numerous faults and problems which they will do nothing about. Not to mention the damage they caused when applying the paintwork protection polish to the car before collection and tried to cover it up.
Never have particularly high hopes of car salesmen but these are the worst of the worst. They take your money then wash their hands of you. Means naff all they’re a ‘Jeep Approved garage’ - have submitted a formal complaint with Jeep directly who have launched an investigation into them.
Referred to the Motor Ombudsman and will be taking them to small claims court on advice of solicitor who has reviewed the case and confirmed they’ve breached their contract and relevant consumer rights laws.

They only have a 3/5 star rating on TrustPilot which says it all that 36% of their reviews are 1 star negative reviews.

Jerry was really helpful and answered all questions given. I had a bad experience at big motoring world where they just handed me the key and i had to figure everything out myself so i hesitant buying a non franchise car from here. Jerry explained everything he could with the Volkswagen and made sure i was comfortable with the car before i left. Will definitely recommend.

The worlds WORST service department, I cannot get over she complete ignorance and incompetence of staff here. My mum has had repeated issues with the Jeep she purchases NONE of which rectified 3 years on, no solutions offered and no calls back. They have no communication skills and evidently have no idea or training how to pick up a phone a dial a number to return calls. They have left my mother who’s disabled without a vehicle for 2 days and not responded to a single call or given an update. Two pieces of advice here 1. DO NOT buy a Jeep and 2. Stay as far away as humanly possible from Palmers Jeep and Hemel Hempstead

Tried 3 times in an afternoon to contact to book Jeep mot and service. Recorded message promised to call back as ‘staff dealing with other customers’. Three hours later still waiting - not the first time of let-down with this dealership. Poor after sales service for what is a good vehicle. Care could not care less attitude seems apparent.

I bought a car from this dealership six weeks ago, and it's been a complete disaster. After just 16 days, the engine warning light came on. I immediately called the garage, and they told me to bring it in. To be safe, I had the AA inspect it firstthey confirmed the faults, and I relayed exactly what was wrong to the dealership.

Instead of fixing the issue, they lied about ordering the part, making me take a day off work and drive two hours to their garageonly to tell me they hadn't even started the repair. They then kept my car for two weeks, returning it with new damage: a smashed rear light, deep scratches down the side, and scuffed alloys. When I confronted Mo, he blamed me, claiming the damage was already there (it wasn'tI had proof).

After refusing to accept the car, they did a cheap, botched repair (a badly fitted light and poorly touched-up alloy). Jake Palmer promised me a 1-year warranty extension as compensation, but now the dealership is ignoring my calls and refusing to honour it.

Out of six weeks of ownership, I've only had my car for 8 daysthe rest of the time it's been stuck in their garage. I need a reliable car for work, and this experience has caused me huge stress and inconvenience.

Update to my January 2024 review.
Since taking my vehicle to another dealership in May 2024 to sort out the lock on my hardtop I have not had any issues yet with Palmers would expect to be going back at least once a month what a waste of time and fuel.
Now the only time my vehicle goes to a garage is for its M,O,T and annual service both once a year

Just collected our new MG4 electric car from Palmers cars Hemel Hempstead. Abdul the salesman was extremely helpful and friendly throughout our dealings with the company. Everyone we came in contact with could not have been more helpful. We would highly recommend this dealership.

We recently dealt with Ross at Palmers hemel. He was incredibly polite, friendly and accommodating. Couldn't recommend him more! He was very professional, listened to our questions and offered solutions. A sale well made.

Impossible to get in contact with them, jsut ried Service, Sales, Parts & Finance for Jeep and told to leave a message. I did this on Jan 30th and I am still awaiting a call back.......

SELLER BEWARE!
This company was purchasing my car through Motorway my dealings where with Kiersn not a very pleasant individual . They started by asking for my original purchase invoice for the car which is unusual but "COMPANY POLICY" then upon there driver being on the train to collect the car i was informed i would not have my finance settled immediately and would receive confirmation in seven days . RED FLAG never give anyone your car and documents until proof of settlement from your finance company. I told Kieran there was no chance of my car leaving my possession unless they can settle the agreement his agitated reply was "ITS COMPANY POLICY" after him stating several times that he was the customer and i should let him have the car he hung the phone up and i never heard from him again. Not a company I would deal with i have put a complaint in with motorway stating there company practises. one last note the finance setting was just under £49,000 would you have let it drive away?

What a great experience it was buying a car from Palmers in Watford! Louis was welcoming, helpful and super efficient to deal with. We have had Peugeots before but this is our first purchase from this dealership. We love the car and will be back when it is time to change it.

From start to finish of purchasing my fiat Ross Beard who attended to me was every helpful, polite and very professional with the way he dealt with the sale process. He also did a follow up call which I really appreciate. In all very happy customer. Love my car.

This is my second car I have bought at Palmers, Watford. Matt was very helpful and the transaction was completed in no time. Great range of cars here, for all budgets. Never had an issue with after sales, as Palmers have rung me several times over the years to make sure everything is ok. I would not go anywhere else to buy a car, Citroen has been the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned.

Matt was excellent and so helpfully every step of the way, always kept me updated. I would definitely return to purchase another car.
