Great store with an amazing selection of premium painting equipment. I usually have to shop around to find my favorite brushes and rollers but paintlab have it all under the one roof. Customer service has been great too.

Osmo polyx oil tint - Honey
Nice product by Osmo but if you want a Honey glow on your wood floor apply the product very sparingly. I applied thinly without pooling the product and removed any excess but the finished look was more rich and orange in tone than I was expecting. After the initial section I then applied very sparingly and stretched the product out much more than with initial application. The colour tone was more Honey and less rich second time round. My advice apply very sparingly and build up the colour over two coats and then apply a clear coat to finish.

The paint was fine thankfully
The paint was fine thankfully. The paint tin was bashed in at the side and from the top down and white chalky residue could be seen around the top before it was opened. This made it very difficult to open and reseal as the rim was bashed down. I can't see how this could happen in transit as it was very protectively wrapped so I concluded that a damaged tin was sent to me. Disappointing

Dear Mary,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I’m truly sorry to hear that the paint tin arrived damaged, making it difficult to open and reseal. We take great care in packaging our products, so it’s concerning to hear that a damaged tin may have been sent to you.
We’re glad to know that the quality of the Tikkurila firewall paint itself met your expectations, but we understand how frustrating it must have been to receive the product in that condition.
Please reach out to our team at 01 573 3222 or by email sales@paintlab.ie, and we will do our best to resolve this issue for you. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and we’re committed to making this right.
Kind regards,
Rytis
