Simple, reliable, and developer-friendly API for nonprofit verification
I recently tried out the NonprofitCheckPlus API for a small project that needed to verify the legal status of some US-based charities, and I’m genuinely impressed.
As a developer, what I appreciate most is how easy it was to get started. They offer a free plan that doesn't even require a credit card, which is great for testing things out. The documentation is straightforward, and the JSON response is clean and well-structured, making the integration into my app a breeze.
The data coverage is quite extensive—it pulls from the IRS Business Master File, Pub 78, and even checks against the OFAC list. Being able to get all this compliance data in one single API call saved me a lot of time that I would have otherwise spent digging through different government databases.
If you’re building a donation platform or any tool that needs to vet nonprofits quickly and accurately, I’d definitely recommend giving this API a shot. It’s a solid, "no-nonsense" tool that does exactly what it says on the tin.

It’s a solid solution if you’re working with donations or fintech and need accurate data without the headache. Setup is straightforward and the system just works.
