Extremely detailed and very helpful. Iain and I are still in discussions post survey as well, which is allowing for an easier refurbishment.

Iain was easily contactable and fitted the survey in which needed to be done quickly. The report needed time to completed but Iain was able to give me an overview within 24 hours.

Promptness of response : I left a phone message for Iain and he got back to me very quickly.
Quality of service : Undoubtedly an excellent service. Iain carried out the survey as agreed and then met me at the property so we could walk around the property together looking at the issues that he'd discovered. I had the photographs by the end of that day. The survey I received later detailed all the points we had discussed and more - a very useful document.
Value for money : Iain charged a very fair price for the service he delivered. I wouldn't expect to pay him less for what he did.
Professionalism : From our first communication I knew that Iain was the surveyor for me. He is very 'can do' - unlike some of the others who I contacted who were unwilling to do a full survey because of the pandemic. Iain is a professional. He communicated in a way that I understood. I have utmost respect for him and would recommend his services to anyone looking for a building survey. I am very pleased that he did the survey for me.

A great service. Iain was quick to get back to me and book in the survey. We spoke the day after and he alerted me to the key findings so I could speak with the estate agent and my solicitor and get them rectified. The report followed a couple of weeks later and was thorough with no surprises as Iain had already told me what to expect.

Iain was very approachable and his report was exceedingly thorough - it was very efficiently completed with 500 photos take of the property and the report cross referenced perfectly. His verbal input was invaluable.

The survey report was thorough and helpful in highlighting areas of concern, and in grading these in terms of how quickly they will need to be dealt with.

I was looking for a service that would give me all the benefits of a full structural survey at an affordable price and to be able to see issues first hand, to give me an indication on the level of work required prior to purchasing the property.

Iain offered a walk round survey, which gave me the opportunity to go over his comprehensive findings and for me to ask any questions I had on the issues he found. It was very informative, eye opening and Iain was extremely professional, explaining everything a long the way. It certainly opened my eyes up and highlighted what to look for if I ever look at purchasing a property again.
