There are reasons why I was strolling on my phone and came across own up now we are preapproved for our dream home and can't wait what the future has a ahead for our family thanks to a company called own-up.

The idea of Own Up was great, but fell short. Initial communication was fantastic! Own Up agent contacted me, explained the process, provided a few different financing options, then went dead after the offer on the home I reached out about fell through. Asked for assistance with another property twice and never heard from anyone again.

I did end up using the lender suggested during our initial communication, so I'm sure Own Up got their commission in the end- which is why I received an invite to review. Based on my experience, would not recommend.

One of the 'sells' is no origination fees. However, those were just called something else on the final closing; "transaction fee," "processing fee," "administration fee." Ultimately the closing costs were comparable to another lender i was considering that had no affiliation with Own Up when comparing loan estimate forms.

Amazing customer service from my Own Up advisor, and prompt follow-up from great partners. The lender I was matched with gave me my best rate by far.

Efficient and easy to use. I was connected to a lender the same day. With 48 hours my approval is pending.

They coordinated with the banks so I could get the best possible interest rate.

I was expecting to be matched up with a mortgage advisor that would compare rates from several lenders, but instead I immediately got funneled into a specific lender and NO account on Own Up was created where I could control my privacy / information.

There is no support contact on the website at all, so I feel duped into freely giving my information to Own Up. RIP my phone number and inbox.

Working with Olivia at OwnUp was a pleasure! She is very knowledgeable and quick to respond to all of our questions (we had a lot lol).
